I had been using the fertilizer stakes around my trees that you have to hammer into the ground. Well, if your ground is as hard as mine, that's not an easy task. The Miracle-Gro Shake 'n Feed Continuous Release was recommended to me by a tree service, and I have to say, it makes the job much eaiser. Now I can just walk around the yard and fertilize trees, shrubs and flowers all out of one bottle. No more getting down on my hands and knees trying to work fertilize into the soil. No more having to mix a liquid, then carry around a heavy sprayer, with all the pumping every two minutes. And, no more lifting those heavy bags of fertilize and pouring it into a spreader, then having to push the spreader over the yard all day. Now I just walk around my yard and shake Miracle-Gro Shake 'n Feed out of a bottle. Then I leave it alone and let it do it's thing over the next 3 months. As you water or it rains, the pellets slowly release nutrients into the soil. And I must...

Oh gosh, I do dances in my garden while shaking this stuff into my garden. This is by far, one of the most cost-worthy inventions by Miracle Gro. I'm a huge fan of Miracle Gro and it's products and this is one of my favorites. To apply this product to your plants and garden is so easy and clean and almost zero messes are made. Just literally, shake over wherever you think it is needed and done. Highly recommend for the busy and/or lazy gardener.

Miracle-Gro Shake 'n Feed Plus Weed Preventer is a great product, but an even better container. I have used Miracle-Gro plant food for a long time with very good results. What I really love is this container which I refill with Miracle-Gro slow release plant food or another brand. The amount of product that fits in this container is just the right amount so the container is not too heavy, but more than enough to make a trip around the yard spreading plant food on all of your plants. The dispenser makes it very easy to control the amount of food you are spreading.

Scotts Miracle-Gro Shake 'n Feed Continuous Relase All Purpose Plant Food is not my favorite product. I first got the product hoping it would improve my roses; however, I saw no change. Then, I tried it on other flowers in other parts of my garden, but I felt like I just wasted a ton of money on something that didn't even work. The best part about this product is I didn't have to remember to feed my plants, which served it's purpose. With all the other products that have a similar function though, I would have rather bought a cheaper product to do the same job as it did not impress me that much.

I enjoy gardening and was pleased when I discovered this product. I have p[Miracle grow products before. I knew that Miracle grow were makers of great products from my past experience. What I like about the Miracle Grow Shake 'n Feed continuous release all purpose plant food it is-exactly that. one product was good for everything in my yard from feed my tomatoes to my flowers and my lawn. I use it on everything a few shakes a good water my flowers have more blooms, last three months, my tomatoes are larger and deep in color. I like products that are easy to use, my favorite is that Miracle Grow works on all my plants. The product is a pit pricey however what the product does is totally worth the price. It is not a huge effort to maintain a healthy lovely garden with such a great product. It is not organic, and I do have to put it up high from my kids however this is common sense.

Miracle Grow Shake and Feed Plant food is a great fertilizer!

My plants love this plant food.

I like the convenience of putting it on your plants and only having to fertilize them once a month. I know that you can wait 3months, but I choose to fertilize once a month.

I used this on my tomatoes last year and they were large sized.

I used this on several of my flowering plants with good results!

This is a good product to use and the convenience is great!

Miracle Grow Shake n Feed is the easiest and most effective form of the several Miracle Grow products, at least in my opinion. It works every bit as well as these reviewers say it does, and I really have nothing informative to add to their reviews in that respect.

But, there are a few plants that you do not wanna use this on. I put it on everything about 7 years ago, and was shocked at the results (this was my first effort at gardening, both vegetables and flowers). Sunflowers that were supposed to be 8 ft tall were 12-15ft. It was great for almost everthing.

Then my bachelor buttons came up. The flower heads were sized as normal, but the plant itself was 3-4 ft tall. With the small flower heads, you can imagine, they looked like weeds. Had to pull them up. There was one more flower that had a similar reaction but I can't for the life of me think of what that was.

My only advise on this is to try and imagine the outcome, and to ask friends, family, or your local nursery...

the miracle grow shake is an easy quick feeder that doesnt take much time but gives your plants what they need for great blooms on all plants. when you have two dogs, a small child, work full time and go to school there isnt much time to do gardening, so when you get the chance, this product is easy quick, doesnt take much time to pour and have your flowers blooming in no time. the container is easy storage. the container is also child and dog proof, with a roudy lab that likes to get into everything, the container with-hold and leaves no room for my lab to get into the container. no mess on your hand, cloths, just simple and easy.....

I used the Miracle Grow Shake 'n Feed on my flowers and vegetables this summer and the results were pretty amazing. I got more tomatoes and sweet peppers than I have in previous years and the flowers were bigger, bolder and looked stronger and healthier. It's great stuff and it's easy to use....

I really did like the Miracle Grow Shake 'n Feed. I found it took petunias I gave up on a second wind to grow. I honestly thought I killed the plant but sure enough a week later there they were, beautiful purple petunias. I was so elated....

Well, you won't find my garden spot in a top magazine. Better Homes and Gardens may have had me in mind when they picked the title because all of their homes and gardens look better than mine. But I have three small children and work four part-time jobs. I'm patting myself on the back for even trying to plant flowers this year.

I choose my plants carefully. They must be acquired from a family member via a shovel or they must cost about a quarter. Two packs of seeds for a quarter is even better. However, if I'm going to the trouble of planting a flower garden, I do want to give it a chance to grow, so I bought Miracle Grow Shake 'n Feed Continuous Release All Purpose Plant Food and also planted one of my latest gardens over the septic tank. (I think Southern women are known for practicality.)

Well, you can look at the pictures. I'm quite pleased--not bad for spending less than $5 on all of the plants. Now if I could just get this fertilizer for that kind of bargain. The look on my daughters'...

Oh My GOD!!! I sprinkled this stuff on all of my plants and they took off like crazy! My Hollyhocks are now over 9ft tall and still growing The blooms are full lush and bustin out all over. We have been gardening for about 18 years now. My family eats primarily whole foods- vegetarian/vegan in most cases, and try to concentrate on raw foods as much as possible. We do this primarily for health reasons, and have reaped tremendous benefits from it.

Every year, we grow approximately 1/4 acre of garden space with everything from tomatoes, to greens, to beans, to potatoes, and anything else we are up to trying.

The few months in the summer time that we spent growing our food bolsters our health up to make it through the long often dark winters up here in the Northeastern US. IT is essential that we have a garden that produces well for at least 3 months, weather permitting.

We basically survive off of our garden for the summer months and what we can store away for winter too.

The problem where we live is that often times we have dry summers. This will leave our garden struggling because despite our mulching, watering, and constant care, we live on a hill where it is...
