saw is a great thriller, but too scary and gorey for kids. it has a good plot, it keeps you watching to the very end.

For those of us who love a twisted storyline the movie Saw and its sequels are perfect. The combination of gore and suspense. Could you imagine waking up in a dank, dark, scary place you have never been in and find yourself trapped. Just when you think their is no way out you find a tape to play that gives you instructions on how to get away. Couldn't be anything easier right? Wrong! It is something so sick and unimaginable that you would have to do to yourself some sort of mutilation to be able to get away if you don't bleed to death first.

No this movie is not for the weak stomach individuals. But if you have a taste for the macab then this is for you. The following movies Saw II, Saw III, ect. are no exeption believe or not they only get better. I own every movie that has come out so far and I am not dissapointed. Watch the first movie if you haven't done so and you will be hooked on these films. You will even want to own the Saw doll.

Saw is a very original horror film.I am a huge horror movie buff-and i have to admit-although gruesome and DEFINITELY not for children or the faint of heart,I have to say the concept of this movie interested me.Its about a man who finds out he is dying of cancer and decides to find people who need to be "reborn"-people who have sinned in his eyes and he gives each of these people a test.If they fail-then they die in a true sadistic and gruesome fashion.If they past,then they go on to the next test until "Jigsaw" decides they have learned their lesson.This movie is definitely in the gory side and some of the scenes are so gruesome-even I had to close my eyes.Very disgusting film-but in a good way.

Saw--These movies are really good, they keep you on the edge of your seat. They mix pyschological thrills and gore and it is done so well. If you have a weak stomach, this is not the movie for you. But if you like scary, intense and gory, this is a good one to watch!!! I can't wait to see SAW V....

Come on, does it really get any worse than "SAW"? This movie is absolutly disgusting, not to mention badly plotted. To me it just a cheap rip off of Seven. It is amazing how so many people live for these kind of gory movies, that show people being tortured and ripped, cut to pieces. And yet you wonder whats wrong with the world today, don't get me wrong or anything, I love a good scary movie, but can do without seeing people being shredded like yesterdays mail. Hum, come to think of it, it seems to me that Texas Chainsaw Massacare started it all. True that movie was based on actual events or so they say. But why make thousands of mockery movies out of it. If you've seen one slasher you've seen them all.There's just no suprise ending to them anymore. But that's just my opionion.

For the most part the Saw movies are clever and suspensful... but i'm curious to see how much more they can do with these. As far as the first one goes... loved it! It kept my interest throughout. Only suggestion, if you live with movie talkers... watch it alone. Nothing more frustrating than missing a two minute clip that leaves you confused for the next hour....

There will eventually be six of these movies. The first one has bad acting but you just never know what to expect. Just when you think you think you figured it out, something else comes up and you are completely wrong. If you are into suspense movies, this is a must see....
