My parents had one of these and when my mom saw my boyfriend's envy, she got him one. I figured it'd be something he'd use for a few months then forgets about. But he actually uses it pretty steadily, especially in the winter when a hot dinner or snack is appreciated.

He's gotten creative with the fillings, and they always come out crispy and delicious. You can put in anything you want really, its all up to your imagination. Sometimes he puts a lot of fillings so you don't get the closed ends, but that's not a big deal for either of us. What we really like is the nice lines and crispiness. As most will probably mention, you do not want to over stuff this and then try and jam the lid down, because cheese will ooooze out the side all over the place and that's the only thing that can make this a pain in the neck! Otherwise, love it. Great gift for someone who has everything, or even someone you don't know well. I think it's a general all around people pleaser!
...

My husband and I love to have a quesadilla as a meal. With my Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker, it is quick and easy. Before, when I would make them in a pan, I would loose my toppings when flipping them over to brown the second side. Not anymore, they come out like a restaurant's.

This quesadilla maker has a short cord, which hasn't been a problem. It turns of when it is plugged in and has a red indicator light showing it is on. It takes 5 minutes to heat up. There is a green indicator light that turns off when it is ready.

This unit has non stick cooking surfaces. Just wipe off with damp cloth. I add a small amount of cooking oil, to make clean up even easier. It can not be immersed in water. There is a drip tray to catch any excess oil. This can be removed and cleaned in soapy water.

The average cooking time is about 3 to 4 minutes. Don't over stuff your quesadillas! This causes oozing and a bigger mess to clean up. The quesadilla will not seal as well either. With this...
...

I got this product for christmas a couple of years ago and I have used it and abused it every week ever since. It is the most used counter top cooking appliance I have. My whole family loves mexican night now including me! It is so easy to use and comes out perfect every time. I usually toss some rice in a pot to cook then get started gathering the ingredients I need. I normally use refried beans chicken/beef and mexican shredded in the bag cheeses. You do have to be a bit careful you don't add too much filling because it cooks and cuts into wedge shapes at the same time and if you add too much you will get some oozing out of the tortilla. Add some sour cream and salsa along with the rice and you have a great meal! I love this machine so much I even went out and bought my mom one (not and easy task to find one either). Its now her favorite machine too. I dont remember how I ever made mexican dinner night before I had the Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker and I dont want to!
...

Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker - well, let's just say, my wife URGED me to get a quesadilla maker. I had no reason for it. I thought I could do just fine cooking mine over a skillet on the stove.

Then we got one. I used the stove, my wife used the Quesadilla Maker. Hers were always crisper, crunchier, sealed, and the cheese was always slightly more melted. I tried it one day and fot hooked! It was easy, simple, with such a nice clean up ability. We started making ham and cheese quesadillas, leftover burrito quesadillas, chicken and cheese, or whatever we had in the fridge!

The food is sealed in so tight around the edges and is absolutely amazing when you bite into it. It really captures and holds all of the food so well. It's small, so it does not take up much room or storage space. It was inexpensive and easy to find at the store. I really would recommend this to anyone who thinks they would like a good meal in just a little less time! It really does work wonders for saving some time on a...
...

Each year during the Christmas holiday, I see several stores overloaded with the Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker. I've always wanted to buy one but figured that it would end up getting used twice before gathering dust on a basement shelf, never to be seen again. I finally received one of these as a gift and I can happily say that it has been used several times.

I LOVE quesadillas but don't eat them at restaurants very often because they are usually high in calories and fat. So I was thrilled that I could finally make my own healthy quesadillas right in my own home! Also, I couldn't believe it when my very picky kids said that they love the quesadillas made with the Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker too. Cha-ching!

The Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker is easy to use. I basically plug in the cord, wait for the green "ready" button to light up, make my tortilla, and close the lid. The cooked tortilla is usually ready in 4-5 minutes. The edges come out light brown and crispy and...
...

We received our Sante Fe Quesadilla maker as a gift about 7 years ago before we had children. My husband and I used it all the time, it had a permanent home on our kitchen counter and we came up with many creative recipies. With toddlers in the house we found even more creative uses for it. PB & J Quesadilla's are a hit, and this thing just keeps on working.

It's easy to clean and easy to use, very durable. It's definitely a specialty item, you're not going to make soup with this thing, but it makes terrific Quesadillas. Much easier than using a frying pan, and it seals the Quesadilla into individual wedges that are easy to break apart or cut on to make even sharing easy (a big hit with three small children - who ALL want the biggest piece!)

The exterior of the machine stays fairly cool, which is a safety consideration for us, and it's got a sleak design that looks good should you choose to leave it out on your counter. We've purchased several of these as gifts and our friends...
...

I have had the Santa Fe Quesadilla maker for a couple years now. My (little) son insisted he get it for me for mothers day about 7 yrs ago. It was one of those gifts that you grin and bare it....while looking at the adult that took him shopping like "why did you let him get that?!?!?!" It literally sat in my cabinet for almost a year before he realized that I hadnt used it. So I pulled it out and made simple chicken and cheese quesadillas. THEY WERE GREAT! I started experimenting with all sort of quesadillas. My family love it when I make quesadillas for breakfast (eggs, onions, bell peppers, sausage/bacon and cheese). Super quick and easy meals!!!!
...

I got this Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker as a gift and have had fun making my own quesadillas ever since. I'm finding all kinds of foods to stuff in there and heat up Quesadilla-style. And it's not only cool looking, it really works!

The Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker is bright red and the front handle is in the shape of a chili pepper. When you lift the lid the inside has a Teflon-coating grille on the top and bottom with dividers. To make a quesadilla you just get two flour tacos (soft shell), put in whatever ingredients you want, and put them in the machine. Plug it in and a green light will light up when it's done. The quesadillas come out hot and toasty, and everything inside is nicely melted.

I have found you should not overstuff the quesadillas though, or the ingredients will squeeze out. If anything does leak the machine has a small grease catch underneath and will catch it. I should also note that the quesadilla maker does not cut the flour taco into eight sections, but leaves creases....
...

My husband bought me my Sante Fe Quesadilla maker for me for christmas about 3 years ago & it still works fine. If you like quesadilla this appliance does the trick. but, cleanup can be a bit messy if you use too much cheese in your quesadillas. The cheese will ooze out & harden onto the machine making cleanup a bit messy. He picked mine up at a Farm & Fleet store for under $20. I think it's worth the $20 if you like quesadillas....

The Santa Fe is ok I guess if you are making quesidillas. I find that the only use for the product is that. I received this as a Christmas present and thought wow, the only thing this is for is to make quesidillas. It does the job when you are making them but honestly do you need it for that. These can be done easily by putting two tortillas on a paper plate with cheese in between them and putting them in the microwave. Maybe I am a bit more practical than most people, but even a george forman grill has more versatility than the Santa Fe maker. If I had to buy this by choice, I would not have made the purchase. It seems to be a worthless utility for one item. I wish it had other features....

I like this product, it works well. I think it makes good quesadillas and it is handy for that. My only dislikes are that it is a big item to do just 1 thing. I have to store it in my garage and because of that I rarely use the thing. Also I wouldn't try to put A LOT of cheese in it, my husband tried that once and it made a big mess (cheese ozzed out the sides and all over). Over all a good product, just not terribly practical....

This make quesadilla making fun for the family. You can let your kids help make there own as it is pretty much goof proof. It cooks both sides at once so it even cooks and melts the stuffing. You cannot over stuff the quesadillas or else it will not close right so that is a bummer for the big eaters but it still makes making quesadillas fun!...

I have always loved Quesadilla's but couldn't get them to cook right. Until I purchased this Quesadilla Maker. It's easy to use and looks great to. It takes minutes to heat and just minutes to cook up golden brown Quesadilla's. If you love or even like Quesadilla's go out and buy this one trust me you will never regret it. It's quicker and easier then going to the closet resturant to get a Quesadilla. No lines to wait in and no orders to place fix them the way you like them with out repeating yourself to someone trying to get your order right. In the time it takes you to order, check your order and pay the bill you would have made enough for your entire family. All I can say is I love this Quesadilla Maker. ...
