well, i bought a plan from AT&T and received this phone with the two year agreement for free. I didn't know what i was gettting when i received this phone. It looks nice when it is brand new but its not that great once you get it. It is confusing to use its texting features, I use to text allot but it is set up weird on this phone and makes it complicating to use it. I have also found that it gets hot when i make phone calls and i'm afraid that it will overheat in my hand. Sure its nice when its cold outside but buying a new phone aint that great. I like the camara that it has built into it. It doesn't come with any games, you have to purchase them from your service provider. I like the sliding capabilities that it has and like that it atomatically locks so i don't accidentally make a phone call. The main part that i dislike is the how hot it gets when i make a phone call over 30 min.

This Samsung cell phone is very durable and reliable. I have droped mine many of times and it still works. I like trying out different cell phones and I haven't had any problems with this phone.

When I first got my Samsung SGH-A737 cell phone, i was concerned that i would have problems with the slider part of the phone. Now i have had my phone for over 6 months and it is great. I love it and wouldn't think of getting another phone. It's size is perfect for me to carry in my purse, and the slide allows for me to be more comfortable talking on such a small phone.

The one small problem that i have noticed with this phone is the battery can get quite warm. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but when you talk for a half hour or so on the phone it can get uncomfortably warm. It's not too big of a deal for me though as i don't usually talk for extended periods on the phone.

The Samsung SGH-A737 has an attractive design that is reliable; the phone stays open or closed when you want it to, good size screen with clear crisp graphics, and is packed with all of the features that you want in a basic cell phone. The camera takes decent clear pictures without the use of a flash. The video however is that great, but good enough for a cell phone. It has a mp3 and video player, which is followed by the ability to expand the memory with a built in slot.

The cons with this phone is that the sound is not satisfying when playing music, either the volume is too loud or too low; there needs to be a moderate between the two. The speaker volume is way too low, but the person on the other end can hear you just fine. The other thing is that the reception is good for the recipient, but sketchy on my end when not using the speakerphone.

It's a cute cellphone, but I wouldn't recommend it.

When my husband's cell phone broke, it was stressful. We were not in a position to buy anything new and in order to be available for job search, my husband has to have a cell phone.

Our son's cell phone broke the previous week and he had to find another one- equally financially challenged. I sent him to Sam's Club and he came home with the coolest phone I have ever seen- the Samsung A737 Slide Phone.

WHAT IS THE SAMSUNG A737 SLIDE PHONE LIKE?

Because we are all very hard on cell phones, we need something sturdy, yet practical. I am not a person to like gadgets when it comes to cell phones. I want plain and simple. I want easy to use. I want practical with longevity.

My first impression of the SAMSUNG A737 slide phone was the sleekness and streamlined appearance. The slide phone is a flat phone of 1 3/4" x 3 3/4" in size. There is a ridge just below the screen which you use your thumb on to slide the phone upward, exposing a lightup keypad.

The Samsung SGH-A737 is an adequate cell phone with many basic features. It is pretty user-friendly and does not take a long time to learn to use. I give everything at least an average rating, with the exception of sound quality which is subpar....

It was upgrade time and the phone choices for AT&T were pretty slim. I decided on the Samsung SGH-a737 in an orange and black color combination; my son decided on the black and lime/yellow color. We returned the phones the next day because the phone dropped calls left and right. Our house is out in the middle of cow country in upstate New York. AT&T has the best coverage so we really have no choice but to keep them as our carrier. The salesman suggested placing an antennae booster in the phones and we haven't had a problem since.

After a few days of getting used to it I can tell you there are features I love and some that annoy me.

The phone slides open to reveal the keypad but can remain closed to take an incoming call. It features 3G HSDPA technology to make it compatible with the 3G services that AT&T has to offer, like Cellular Video, Video Share and Mobile Music. I don't care about that so it really isn't a "plus" for me but I mention it in case it is to you.

Well this is actually my first personal phone but I have a lot of knowledge and I know what makes a good phone. Personally I think this phone is great for just anybody! It takes pretty decent pictures I wouldn't say the video is the best. Even though it look's kinda small it actually has a really nice screen size and resolution It's pretty crisp and clear :) I've also downloaded a couple of games And they flow great no real lag or anything that I have noticed. The internet is great when you get a strong internet connection on this phone the sites pop up almost instintly I love itI I will say that some times when i'm on the phone i can get a bad connection Probably 3 out of 10 calls aren't that clear. But over all this is a pretty decent phone for the price. I hope this helps you out :) ...

The Samsung SGH-A737 has a sleek look and comes in great colors you won't find with many other phones. I chose the black and orange phone. The slider feature is sleek and fun. With the exception of the screen occasionally getting dirty (which will happen with any slider), this phone is awesome! The camera is great, the video quality is high, and there is a lot of memory to store things. I was able to use the bluetooth and import all the videos and pics from my old phone too! Also, the texting inbox holds around 250 texts at a time, which is fantastic for the texing lover, like myself. :)
Definitely one of the best phones I've purchased.

p.s. I will say though, battery life is only an issue if your the kind of person who doesn't charge their phone at night. I always put it on the charger before I go to bed, so it's never an issue. But if i can't use my charger there have been times that the battery will go down really fast the 2nd straight day of use.
