I thought my samsung washing machine was great until it stopped working after two weeks. I called the warranty number and they said that someone would call me to arrange to fix it. No one called! I called again and they said the same thing. Still no one called. Finally they gave me the name and number of the subcontractor that "should have called me". I had to call them. When the technician came out he didn't even know how to turn it on. Couldn't fix it because he didn't have the part. I was promised that the part would come on Saturday - it's now Sunday no part. The Technician won't come back until I have the part.

Don't buy Samsung!!!!

I looked at several washers, previously had a top loader that occasionally tore up clothes, so I really liked the idea of clothes falling freely through the water as the water and detergent cleaned them while passing through them - no agitation, no harsh encounters between the clothes and the machine.

This, is NOT that kind of washer. NO H.E. WASHER IS THAT KIND OF WASHER. And that is unfortunate.

H.E. Washers work by making the clothes soggy-damp, then beating the crap out of them as they tumble back and forth. Before having this samsung steamer, I had a Maytag. So help me, I didnt think the clothes were even completely damp - barely wet, and THAT was the wash cycle - just sloshing back and and forth. This machine DOES get the clothes better than damp, but by no means do you SEE water in the machine during the wash cycle. As a doctor, I just dont think you can sanitize clothes (or anything for that matter) without a decent amount of soap and water.

I have little doubt that...

I bought this, along with the coordinating Samsung dryer in a pinch b/c my 6 y.o. Kenmore dryer died suddenly, and my washer had been rusting out in the tub for a couple of years. So was planning to replace the washer after tax returns in the spring anyway, but the dryer had different ideas.

After reading through tons of customer reviews, I was torn between the LG models and the Samsung models. I opted for non-steam models b/c of the much higher cost and b/c I figure the more mechanisms you have in an appliance, the more likely something will break. Anyway, what finally swayed me to the Samsung was a combination of 2 things: The Samsung customer reviews seemed to have fewer disgruntled buyers.....the LG models would have several glowing reviews followed by a couple of "lemons" I guess. The Samsung had fewer disgruntled customer reviews complaining of major malfunctions. Secondly, I really wanted the Silvercare. I don't like to use hot water wash cycles b/c hot water wears your...

I love this Samsung washing machine. The vibration reduction technology is a nice thing to have when you don't put in large loads. I love the fact that it doesn't use much water or electricity. I got mine in the red, and I love the color of the washing machine....

I went shopping for a washer and loved the look of this one and all the features. The white was out of stock so I took the red because of availability. From the moment I started using this machine I was glad I put out the money for both the washer and dryer.

I love the low energy/water usage. I love all the options for loads, water, spinning, etc. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE how darn sharp looking they are! Oh, and the cute little dings and tings that they make when they change mode or stop.

I was a little shocked to see that Samsung even made washers and dryers. I was shocked to see them in the Samsung red color that my cellphone is. But it turned out to be a great purchase and well worth the money. And honestly compared to the other extra large front loads I looked at, it was a little cheaper than some and a little more than others. So I think it turned out to be a great value.

And when I wash I wash. This set can handle big loads and little loads and they all some out sparkling clean!!!!

Samsung washer have had for 2 weeks and Love it!!! I am doing less laundry since I can get all the clothes in 1 load instead of 4 loads with the top loader....

The helicopter is gone. Our previous washer was so noisy it sounded like a helicopter everytime it ran. Our first and formost requirement for our next washer "quiet". I read the reviews about the Samsung and quickly decided this was the washer for us. We could not be happier, my youngest daugter's room, as well as ours is next to the laundry room. The laundry essentially sits in the center of our house. I can run a load of clothes in the morning or at night and it doesn't wake anyone up,even on the spin cycle.

I put the towels on the Silver Care cycle last night, took them out of the dryer and they smell clean without added softener or bleach.

The clothes are spun to the point that there is minimal water (on the normal/heavy cycles). Using the HE detergent is cost effective, my clothes are cleaner with a smaller amount of detergent. And do your kids wear their socks like slippers or shoes, not only my kids do but so do I. Haven't seen the socks look cleaner, of coarse it...

This washer is super quiet. When I walk away I can't even tell it's running. My clothes are getting cleaner and you can't beat the price compared to Whirlpool Duet. (You're mostly paying for the name) The Silvercare is great because I know my clothes are sanitized w/o using hot water or bleach. I have yet to find anything wrong with this machine....

We've owned this washer (and the dryer) for about a month now and all I can say is WOW! We ended up buying it after our 20+ year washer finally quit on us. The main thing about this washer that was appealing to us was the size and the virbration reduction technology. First off, the size on this thing is GREAT. I do all my king size bedding in it without a problem. I even did my padded king size mattress pad in it with room to spare. After going from a tiny top loading washer, this is just amazing. I'm cutting down on half my time doing laundry because I'm able to put 2-3 times as many clothes in the new one as I did in the old one. Second, this thing is REALLY quiet. Our laundry room is close to our family room and you can hardly hear it when it's running, even on the spin cycle. Our old washer would literally jump across the floor, especially when it was overloaded or got off balance ... not this one! Although, I do have one tip, make sure you read the directions and take the bolts out......
