The Alias is a great phone. I started off with an lg phone and was only set on lg phones. That broke once and i had to get a new one so I chose the lg sguare one that flips open and it was terrible. So a couple weeks later i went back and exchanged it for th alias. At first i wasn't sure about it and how small the keys were but my friends had it and liked it so i stuck with it. Within a week or so i got used to the phone and it was amazing. I like how you can talk like a normal phone but then open up and text so easily. Also it is very durable and doesnt break compared to those other touch screens and stuff. I would deffinitly recemend that you buy this or the new one which ia amazing also. You can also put your music on this. But overall the alias is just a regualer phone with no gimmicks or fancies and gets the job done, that is what i love about it. The only downside is you cant get a case.

i like my phone. it works good and i never had any problems with it so far. i wish my husband would of got one of these phones. it is a sch-u740 samsung and it has alot if features with it.i would suggest this phone to anybody.trust me you would like it very much.it opens two different ways. it opens side ways so it is easy to text people and it opens the right way so you can talk on it without people hearing your conversations.you can text faster with opening it side ways.in order to use some features you have to open it side ways.there is alot of cool things you can do with this phone.the only thing i have not found for this phone is a case unless you buy one when you get the phone which can be very expensive. i did not buy one when i got the phone and i should of cause i am always dropping it.it is also bluetooth capability so you wont get in trouble talking on it why you are driving.

I got this phone for free in Nov. 07 when I renewed my two-yr contract with Verizon. That was the first good part - not paying for it. And, it's an incredibly useful phone that still looks pretty good. All I do is make phone calls and text message - but now that I have this QWERTY keyboard, text messaging is so much easier.

Call quality has always been good, the phone is easy to slip into a purse or back pocket, and it still works despite all my clumsiness (dropping the phone frequently, etc.)

As such, I am very satisfied! Next step would be upgrading to a Blackberry, but this will suffice for now....

I have this phone and thought it was the greatest when I got it. I loved how you could use it like a regular phone or go flip it sideways and text on a keyboard. I love my keyboard to text I can't seem to text the other way as fast as my 15 year old can. The only thing I do not like is the camera, the pictures are just not that great of quality.

the buttons are a bit small but other than that i love this phone...awesome features and easy to use. I love the Alias and recommend it to anyone. l love being able to listen to my music where ever i go and i can listen to it with the phone closed all my friends love it and thinks its cool as well...

The Sch-u-740 is a great phone for those who like to text alot and don't want a bulky phone. Although some people might find the buttons too small, it works perfectly if you are not in a rush mashing the keypad. The blue tooth, music storage and playback, picture quality, and video quality are all just pluses to this phone. If any draw back were to be stated it would only have to be that front display is smaller then most phones making it slightly more difficult to see the time or picture you may have put up....

The Samsung - SCH-u740 is a great phone. It's very convient in class you can type with the keyboard without getting caught. When my contract runs out I don't even want to get a new phone!...

Samsung cell phones have been my first choice for their easy menue choices and full range of services I need to for day to day life. I'd bet they become the first cell phone manufacturer to develop a waterproof cell phone. That would put them over the top!...

I absolutely love my Samsung SCH-u740 phone!

I bought it because of the full QWERTY keypad and its dual-flip capability - but I've come to really depend on it for more than just texting! It's great for keeping reminders, playing games and taking impromptu video clips (just keep 'em short!).

Can't say I'm too excited about the camera - but it does okay in outdoor/bright light situations. Again, good in a pinch when you don't have your regular camera about.

It is fairly user-friendly, although I do sometimes have a bit of trouble with the keyboard, given that the keypads are on the small side, and I tend to type in a hurry.

It gets great signal in most places.

All in all, it's a great phone....

I have had the Samsung SCH-u740 cell phone for over a year and have yet to have any problems. I use this phone as my main line and I use it constantly every day. I tend to be "technically challenged" but this phone is extremely user friendly and easy to figure out. I have even had one instance where I dropped it in water and it still works! It's the best phone I've ever had. Great deal , very inexpensive....
