I bough this for my son who wanteda easy point and shoot camera. but is does so much more.

Normal Digital Cameras take low resolution video, but this Camera takes near DVD quality Video. The resolution is actually higher than a regular DVD. It's 800x592 and it's captured in AVI format. You can pause the recording instead of starting a new video it resumes recording from where you paused! It was not high definition but it sure wasn't bad coming from a little small camera.

The shutter delay on Auto mode is pretty slow, because it is trying to focus it so you can have the best quality pictures. However, the ASR mode, (Anti Shake Reduction) takes crisp, clean pictures. The camera des not allow you to take a bad picture.

The smart touch technology is innovative and easy to use. The camera takes great pictures in good light conditions. In low light conditions, it has a mediocre performance. If you use flash in low light conditions, it produces good pictures but the quality of the pictures declines...

Really nice and awesome. It is something that a technically challenged person might use. I really have no background or affinity for technology, yet I used it. What I mean by using it is that I actually was able to upload pictures, edit them, and even make them into real photos.

I bought this camera on line the next day after my daughters first other brand stopped working. I found it at circuit city 129.00 free shipping. I found the lime green, my daughters favorite color. This camera works awesome. The view screen is large the views are of a very clear quality. It uses double a battteries. She has loaded that memory card up already with taking many shots using the flash. It does not eat up the battery. The pictures are just as clear when printed or put into the camera. It is a perfect size camera great options and finally my daughters THANKS MOM! really means something. Thumbs way up to this camera...
