sarahjo05 says "great camera that will fit the cost and quality requirements" about Samsung - S630

This camera is a nice and fairly inexpensive alternative for someone looking for a quality camera that is not at the extreme top of the line. This camera offers six megapixels of photo quality, and I have been nothing but impressed with the quality of prints that this camera has produced. The camera offers a fairly standard optical zoom of 3x, which allows you to zoom in on objects at a distance before taking the picture. One of the best qualities that I love on this camera is the anti shake mechanism, which is a sysem that is in place to help steady your images before taking the picture. I did not have this feature on my old camera, and it is something that drew me to this camera. Honestly, you can't beat the price, and samsung is a quality brand that offers great customer service and warranty guidelines that will help keep you protected against your purchase if something were to malfunction with the camera. Definitely not prfessional material, but great for a teen or a first...
...

chasity227 says "Samsung S630 is my Fav Travel Camera" about Samsung - S630

I love my Samsung S630 Digital Camera. I loved mine so much I bought my parents one also. It is a great camera and easy to use. My family travels alot and often need to quickly capture the moment. This is the perfect camera because it is small but not too small. I have had a smaller more expensive camera before that was great but honestly it was so small I lost it. I was devastated!! It was so compact that I often forgot I had it and would misplace it or leave it. I do not have that problem with the Samsung S630. The reason I decided to buy my parents one is because it was simple to use as they are not techies at all. They are the kind of people you have to push into a new age and then set up everything and explain every time they need to use it. But with this camera they both took to it like a duck to water and now take it on every trip with no problem. They can easily switch between the cameral function and camcorder with just a click of the dial. The playback function is easily identifiable....
...

I love my Samsung S630 camera it has many great features. This camera also takes great pictures. I am usually the person taking pictures of everything in sight during the day and at night. The picture quality is definitely noticeable. The pictures are clear and full of color. At night the pictures are also great there is no need to stand close to people or lighting. I have used many other cameras and really like this one. The camera is light and is very easy to use. There is nothing better then a camera that is easy to use. You can easily take nice pictures of things that are more than 20 feet away. I once used it in a dark area and everyone in the picture still looked great. I didn't need to keep taking pictures to get the right lighting. People in the pictures were impressed and wanted a copy of the pictures. This camera proves you don't have to be a photographer to great quality pictures.
...

The Samsung digital S-630 is absolutley awesome! I purchased it a few years ago to take on vacation. It's amazing how I am able to get action shots with it. It is light, compact, and everything anyone would want, especially if you are a beginner in photography. I keep it by my side most of the time and have some awesome photos of birds in flight, deer on the run and a LOT of pictures from my NASCAR tracks.

What an incredible piece of equipment and the price is just right on them too. There are multiple settings, I have even taken some night shots, movies, and much more. There are so many features, even after a few years of owning it, I'm still learning!

I highly recommend to anyone who is shopping for a camera or any other electronic equipment to take a good look at Samsung and compare the value, price, and especially the quality of the product. I find it second to none.

One of my favorite features is the auto focus, no more blurry pictures! Since owning my Samsung,...
...

I bought the Samsung S630 camera after I left my previous HP camera in a cooler and it wouldn't work anymore. I wanted something with enough megapixels for a reasonable price and the Samsung delivered.

The Samsung S630 cost less than $100 and takes clear pictures that reproduce well. It is easy to use and download photos to computer. Other features include a 2.5 inch screen, and advanced shake reduction.

I like to take semi-artistic shots and the Samsung's S630 macro feature has kept up. I am also able to reproduce large pictures up to 11 x 14. When people see my pictures they think I have an SLR.

It also has a videorecorder which is easy to use and does not use batteries up too quickly. Other settings include Manual, Scen, portrait, nightime, and program. Includes self-timer options.

Nibailey says "The Samsung S630 takes excellent photos and is reasonably priced" about Samsung - S630

For years, I resisted switching from my analog camera to a digital one because I was concerned that the photos would be inferior. I finally broke down and bought a Samsung S630 and now it's the only camera I ever use. It's light-weight and compact but it's also durable - I've dropped mine a couple of times and it still works beautifully and has very few scratches to the body. When I use the Auto function, the photos are usually clear without any blurriness because it has an anti-shake feature. There are several other functions (including a night setting, a sceen setting, and a potrait setting) but I find the photos often come out blurry unless I'm using a tripod. This camera also takes video but doesn't appear to have a sound feature. There is a slight delay when taking action photos so I find this camera is best for still shots unless your timing is very good. Overall, however, I'm very pleased with the Samsung S630 - I've taken it all over the world and have come back with...
...

This is the first digital camera I've purchased for myself. The others I've had were gifts. I read some reviews and did some price comparisons, and when I found this camera on sale at Circuit City for 89 bucks, I jumped on that deal. I am amazed at how good the quality is on this camera! I was looking for something that could focus close up on small objects, as I am a jewelry maker. This camera really does a fantastic job on macro mode and I have been thrilled with the results. I truly do take it with me everywhere. I've recommended it to several friends and would buy it as a gift in a heartbeat. I use rechargeable batteries with it and never have a problem with battery life. I personally didn't mind that the user's manual had to be accessed on the computer. Since I am a Mac user at home, I did have to bring the CD to work to view the manual, but that wasn't a big deal. I can't use any of the software on the disc, but still love the camera!...

I bought the camera because it had different colors to chose from so I wouldn't get mine confused with other people's and it does really stand out. The features are great, but I generally stick with auto and take photos and they turn out great. It's fun and simple to use, but it eats AA Batteries fast. Use rechargeable and carrry spares....

This camera works fine for the price, but the colors and exposure of the final prints are often significantly off from how they show up on the screen of the camera. The settings are not as helpful as they could be and it doesn't take very good photos indoors. Outdoors it does great....

The Samsung S630 is really a great camera for someone looking for something that's not enormous, that takes quality photographs and is easy to use. This camera has an extremely helpful, printed user's manual that comes with it. It also comes in a variety of colors, to suit the owners personality. It has an automatic setting and a manual setting, so if you're unsure of how to really use the camera, you can go for the automatic setting and if you're more experienced you can set some of your own settings. It has the option to add cute little graphics to your photos, right in the camera. The screen is rather large and sucks up a lot of battery power and I would strongly suggest buying rechargable batteries, if you do decided that this camera is for you....

The only thing that I dont like it the batterys die so fast so I bought rechargeable batterys they are so much better! You can do all kinds of thing with this camera. There are many types of affects such as black and white, Sepia, negitve, red , blue and green. You can also add frames to your pictures! What I have been using most lately is a feture on my cam that you can make up to 4 pics one. This camera is very easy to use i didnt read the manual to do anything! I recomend this camera to anyone.
...

This camera is the best inexpensive camera ever. In various stores, the price ranges from $98-$129. I tried every camera in BrandSmart and this definitely has a better zoom than cameras that cost 3oo and 400 dollars. Its also very user friendly and fun. It offers many frames, stickers, and other options to decorate your pictures. Although it is not the smallest camera, it is definitely great....
