The Samsung side by side 25 cubic foot refrigerator is a best buy. The stainless steel outside makes this refrigerator very attractive. It is Energy Star compliant which saves money and valuable energy. The cool select zone drawer lets you store specific foods at their correct temperature. It also has a digital display and control panel which is easy to use and includes a child-lock feature. The water and ice dispenser are easy to use, both using filtered water. Filters are easy to change out when necessary.
...

The Samsung Refrigerator - Side by Side is so far the best refrigerator I have ever owned. It is 25.2 cubic inches, stainless steel, water and ice dispenser and adjustable shelves. The retail costs for the Samsung Refrigerator - Side by Side is approximately $1500.00, but we included it in the purchase of our home.

Features I don't like on the Samsung Refrigerator - Side by Side

the ice maker takes up valuable freezer space

the freezer side seems too small, not enough space for storage but great for the couple of weeks at a time

expensive water filter

the ice dispenser is difficult to get back in after taking out

finding someone to fix it

Features I like on the Samsung Refrigerator - Side by Side

the adjustable shelves- allowing me to decide where the food goes and how big I need the shelves

adjustable temperature for the storage drawers, and there are three of those

the deep "pockets" of the doors allowing for more storage of 2 liters and condiments

the child lock which keeps children...

...

TheFridge says "Doesn't last + nobody services it" about Samsung Refrigerator - Side by Side RS2556

We purchased our RS2556BB 4 years ago. I believe the price was around $1500 all inclusive but can't remember exactly. This week we purchased a GE to replace it.

When I purchase a major appliance, I generally expect it to have a reasonably long life. As a child, our family moved in to our first home in 1968. When that home was sold 30 years later, the original appliances were still working fine. Today, we have all these wonderful appliances that have so many features - some even including Internet connectivity and can cost thousands of dollars. But, the bottom line is "does it do what it was made to do, and will it last"? For the Samsung RS2556 (and probably all the other RS25xx models) the answer is a resounding NO!

Sure, I can go in to all the specific details of our situation - but why? You can google and find many, many stories that mimic ours. Something fails, nobody can or wants to service it (only 2 Samsung repairmen in all of NJ), parts/repair is expensive, and suggestion from repairman...
...

I'm not too sure what it is I'm writing a review about. Some pages skipped and I never got to see the fridge. Maybe I'm missing the point here. It looked real nice and i would sample one in my house. The black fridge has always attracted me. The side by side aspect of the fridge attracted me as well. It is a bit narrow and some of my pots and contaners are really wide. My frozen pizzas are large and I like to lay them flat in my freezer. I would also prefer not to have to bend to enter the freezer-kind of like when I was a child. Do you remember that? Thanks....

Samsung RS2556 is a large appliance measuring approx. 70 inches in height, 36 inches in width, and 35 inches in depth. This is a side by side model and it contains a total of 25.2 cubic feet of internal storage space. The Samsung RS3556 Refrigerator/Freezer is an excellent appliance and expensive appliance pricing for a refrigerator. Samsung usually doesn't make appliances until recently. Nice and clean design. I'll give it 3stars for an average rating....

Bryan-Carey says "Samsung Gives You Plenty of Bells and Whistles" about Samsung Refrigerator - Side by Side RS2556

Most everyone has owned/experienced many different types of refrigerators and most of us have switched brands and models frequently- often every time we have moved. I moved to a new residence in a new state just a few months ago and my new house included the kitchen appliances. And among them, the most deluxe and sophisticated is my Samsung Model RS2556 Refrigerator Freezer, a large refrigeration device.

Refrigerator Commentary:

Samsung RS2556 is a large appliance and it ranks as the most technologically advanced appliance I have ever owned and also the most expensive. The refrigerator/freezer combinations I have owned in the past have been rather basic, offering freezing and refrigeration compartments, crispers, and other basics. I have never owned a refrigerator freezer that had an ice and water dispenser on the door; digital readouts and precise temperature controls; or other advanced features. This Samsung model offers these bells & whistles and more.

This side by side refrigeration/freezing...
...
