This phone has several good charachteristics to it, but it does have several flaws. Let me start with the good things about the phone. The phone has TV, GPS, music, email, 3 different IM messangers, and several tools. Some of the bad things about the phone is that it is a slider. Although you would think the slider is a cool plus, it really isnt. It messes with signal, locks/unlocks the phone, and I have replaced this phone five times since I originally got them. The phone plans are rather expensive, if you want all those applications then you are definantly going to need the simply everything plan which is a whopping 99.99 dollars. Also, if you step down and dont get that plan, then you dont maxamize the usage of the phone. Overall I think the phone has some pluss and some minuses. Its really up to yourself. If your determine to get a slider phone, they will all act the same, or if you want it for all the gadgets then your going to enjoy the phone.

I bought my Samsong M52 Cell Phone as it is sleek and small and fits in my pocket or purse easly. I like how it opens and texting is very easy to use. I have taken lots of pictures with my phone and sent them onto alot of my friends and family. I have also received alot of pictures. The color and contrast is very good and very clear. Experience Sprint Speed the phone has everything you want right in your hands. It is a device that everyone should own. It lets you connect with friends and family at just a touch of a button. Listen to your favorite songs or watch TV see a movie and more. This phone let you get what you want right when you want it. The music is in the air. You can preview purchase and download tracks right to your phone. GPS Navigaton finds all the right or left turns and gets you to where you need to be. On demand gives you up to the minute news, sports, money. and weather when you need it. My phone is my buddy. Hope you get one soon.

I didn't want a cell phone but I drive over 2 hours each day, commuting from home to work. It is open highway and not having a cell phone, well it would just be not smart. I had one before and really didn't like it. It was hard to use and I would end up locking myself out of it or freezing the thing up.

I went to my local Sprint store and asked for something idiot proof. They showed me this phone and took the time to show me how easy it could be. I took right to it. It is simple and seems to have an endless battery life. I have never ran my battery dead.

I can text with ease, (something I never thought I would do) I surf the web and check my email. I am completely happy with this phone.

The slide model is even a plus. I put it in my pocket and go. It has a strong buzzer and even in loose pants, you feel the buzz.

I am hard on a phone, I broke the screen on my last and was always afraid of snapping the flip up. The slide up is perfect for me.

Although the Samsung M520 is a quality phone I find its bluetooth features make me want to go back to my A500. I use my phone daily, 8+ hours. I am active both outside and at my computer, therefore a hands-free connection is a major plus. As comfortable as my headset is I really don't enjoy wearing it non-stop 8-10 hours per day, every day. If sitting in my office at the keyboard I like to pull the bluetooth out of my ear and set it on the desk, ready for a quick plug into the old ear and answer. However, this phone lacks any feature to allow it to ring both at the headset and handset simultaneously. Therefore I either have to wear the headset constantly or go into the setup menu multiple times throughout the day turning the bluetooth on and off. This then also precludes using both hands from continuing to type while I converse on the phone. Although the sound and construction quality of the phone are up what I expect of Samsung, the convenience of using it hands-free is deplorable....

The Samsung M520 is the best cell phone I've had to date. I purchased it from my sprint store, and fell in love with it. The layout is simple, the slide is a great feature but the keys also lock so there's little risk of calling somebody with your butt! Great phone. :)...

I have owned Samsung phones in the past that have lasted-years! I paid a lot for the Samsung M520, and had high hopes, but after only 4 months the camera has quit working. I rufuse to pay the extra $8 a month for insurance...(my bad..) but I was really sure it would hold up. I guess I will go back to the old 5yr old Sanyo with duct tape on the back..Best of luck to you.

I have had my new Samsung M520 for a little over a month now and I am so in love with it! Love the slide open feature as well as the simplicity of the well priced phone. I can catch up on any TV shows I missed with the Sprint connect plan and watch my shows right on my phone!...

I think that the Samsung M520 is fantastic device. It is easy to hold and navigate all the keys quickly. Its design is sleek and stands out. It seems to be one of a kind even though I know there are others like mine. I can't imagine not having it....

I've had this phone for 4 months. I upgraded from a bulky Sanyo phone. I like this Samsung because it is way thinner and slides out. Reception is better than my old phone. I'm not on this phone all the time, but the battery life is better than expected. I usally re-charge the battery every 3-4 days. The phone has a lot of features that I don't use. I only use the phone for calling, no texting or internet. It does what I need it to do. No dropped calls, clarity on both ends and good blue tooth usability.

Samsung has done an excellent job with M520.

First of all you will notice that the phone is a slide-up model. The screen, although 176x220 in size is exceptionally large on this phone, and has very good quality and brightness.

On the front of the phone below the screen, you will notice the navigational pad, the Talk/End buttons, and the Speakerphone/Back buttons. When the phone is closed, these buttons are locked so that you don't accidentally start dialing while the phone is in your pocket.

Once you slide the phone up, the rest of the keypads are revealed, and all the buttons are unlocked. The act of sliding the phone up is very simple to do, and the phone even has a small indentation that allows for your thumb to "catch" on that in order to slide the phone in a fluid motion.
