The Blackjack II is a great phone for people who need more than just a cell phone. After playing around with my boyfriend's original Blackjack, I wanted one. So when I was eligible for upgrade, I got the Blackjack II in pink and white. It has many features but the best thing about it, is using the QWERTY keyboard. Its very quick and easy. I am used to the letter placement since I work in an office. Driving with the full keyboard is hard but I manage. Also, the picture and video quality that comes from this phone is amazing. I didn't realize how far technology has advanced!! My phone also has a removable memory card that I put music on to have with me at all times. It's like having a mini ipod. It is not touch screen but I am ok with that. I chose not to have a touchscreen for fear that the sensors would wear out and I would be stuck with a phone without reall buttons. I absolutley love my phone and I don't see why anyone would not love to have it. I hope that...
...

There Behold II offers plenty of messaging options. As a Google Android phone, Gmail is obviously the preferred e-mail client and has its own dedicated in-box. However, you also get Exchange ActiveSync support for your Outlook mail, calendar, and contacts. You also can access POP3 and IMAP accounts, but note that only Gmail and Exchange offer real-time message delivery, while the others are retrieved at incremental intervals starting at every 5 minutes up to every hour.

We were able to sync our Gmail, Yahoo, and Exchange accounts to the Behold II. We have to say we're not particularly huge fans of the Samsung in-box. The folder management was a little clunkier and the synchronization process is more laborious. For example, with the Droid Eris and the HTC Hero, once you enter your Exchange account information, it will automatically ask you if you want to sync your e-mail, calendar, and contacts all at once. However, on the Behold II, it will sync only your mail during set up and then you...
...

I really like this phone, the pictures aren't very good but if you don't mind that everything else is great. Contact list, calendar with reminders, Voice dialing, it announces in a woman's voice who is calling if you turn it on, and I really like that. I have my kids school calendar in my phone and I don't miss anything anymore. I am able to set audible alerts for their programs and then if I don't want to be disturbed during any of the appointments I can set the appointment to "busy" and it makes your phone think you can't be disturbed. It will allow you to set the alerts for anywhere from 15 minutes before to an hour before. You have a lot of features like calculator, love to use that in the grocery store. It has a calendar you can look ahead at if you are planning something. You have the the contact list and you can put in a persons entire life in one contact-3 or 4 phone numbers, home address, work address, emails, spouse, kids, birthday, anniversary, and notes for those things...
...

I absolutley love this phone. The Samsung BlackJack II comes in a variety of colors, whether you want plain black or red and if you want white and pink polka dots, its available. Also you do not have to go to ATT&T to purchase the phone, its available at Best Buy as well and often for a cheaper price, which, lets face it, is always nice. The features on the phone are amazing. The camera takes very nice and clear photos. And another thing, the phone can definitley take a beating. I am what you would call rough when it comes to a phone. I drop mine all the time and I've had it for quite some time and that phone is in GREAT condition still. Its very durable. The buttons on my phone have not faded at all, as I've heard from other people. It is very simple to use, to unlock and lock you press 1 key. You do not have to go through mulitiple steps on anything. All of the alert modes on the phone have lasted me almost two years, I've had absolutely no trouble with this phone. I'd definitley recommend...
...

The Samsung Blackjack II is my fifth phone since entering into the technologocial world of cellular telephones. It may very well be my last. I love it that much. I know that in a couple of months, this piece of plastic, wires and metal will be so obsolete that only technologically challenged people like me will still have them!

I am a picture taker and a texter. Most of the time, if I take a picture on my phone, it is for a specific reason or person. Chances are I'm going to forward that photo on to someone. Sometimes, I take it because I odn't have a camera of the digital variety handy. This is shen I send the photos to my e-mail address, where they can be forwarded to on from there.

More times than not I'm simply passing it on to those in my contact list. Pictres of the new grandbaby with her first smile; the dog with a Grands Biscuit in her mouth that is bigger than her head, or 20 teenagers in my livingroom playing twister. The Blackjack II takes awesome pictures. ...
...

I'm a very unorganized person but my Blackjack II is changing this for me. It does everything! It can use it for phone, email, texting, a camera, a camcorder, a calendar (that reminds me 15 minutes beforehand of appointments), a GPS...the list goes on. If I ever lose it or break it, I won't be able to make it through the day...I'll just have to stay home in bed.
...

The Samsung Blackjack II is very user friendly, sleek, and stylish. Comes in different colors or patterns. Easily fits in purse or pocket.

The device is very easy to text with and easy to learn with if you have never texted or have never used a Qwerty keyboard. The easiest way to get used to the Qwerty keys is to type the alphabet three times in a row as fast as you can.

I use the calendar and alarm clock mostly although there are many features on the device such as music ID, calculator, cellular video, stop watch, voice notes..the list goes on and on.

One can also sync the device to their pc with active sync, a great way to back-up your information. The device uses Windows mobile 6.1 and has a PDF viewer. The device is programmed with Excel Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile, and Word Mobile.

It is also possible to activate the GPS/maps although I have not had the need to do this.
...

This phone is the best phone I have. I've had it for over a year now and will be eligible for an upgrade in four months and I think I'm going to stick with this phone because I love it. I use the calendar feature a lot and never miss an appointment. I also love it because I can check my email anywhere anytime. I can use the internet also. The phone also has an alarm clock feature that I use everyday instead of my alarm clock. I don't have to worry about power outages and replacing batteries. This phone also takes great pictures and video. It has a USB cable to hook up to my comuter to easily transfer data....

The Blackjack II is ideal for a person that loves to text a lot due to its Qwerty keyboard, also good for email and chatting, it includes the messenger from Yahhoo and MSN. The camera is ok but it would be better if it had a flash, because you need appropiate light to have a good looking picture. and the recorder is to dark, is good only to save something that doesn't need to much video memory. The Sound is Ok and it works fine using a bluetooth attachment
...

Bought the Samsung BlackJack II to replace a dead Motorola flip style phone. I chose the BlackJack II because it was a 'smart phone.' I have been very pleased with its performance to date. The phone works flawlessly and I have taken advantage of the MP3, e-mail and web browsing capabilities of this phone.

I would recommend a protective cover for this phone to avoid scratches and to help damped any falls. Without a protective cover, my phone would most likely have been unusable after the first few months. I am not a person that has to have the current hot cellular phone out there. I plan to keep this phone as long as it keeps working.

The only two negative points that I can find are the slow internet and the battery life. Even on a 3G network the internet is about equal to a 56K modem. I don't use the internet on my phone very often so that is not a big concern for me. Also, the battery lasts less than a day. I unplug the phone at about 7am and by 10pm the battery is...
...
