faheypb says "I've tried a lot of smartphones and I choose the BlackJack." about Samsung BlackJack Smartphone

I've tried a number of smartphones and personal digital assistants over the past few years. I've tried lots of Palm models, many many BlackBerry models, devices from HTC, LG, Nokia, and more. Of all the devices I have worked with, I choose to carry the Samsung BlackJack. This device has the bonus of a slim profile, while keeping a full qwerty keyboard. This keyboard is especially easy to use because it has seperated keys instead of flush keys. The seperated keys make it much less likely to mistype a message. AT&T coverage with this device certainly adds to the appeal - as the network is broad and strong. I use this device with a 2 gb MicroSD memory card to store applications, music, and files. I lost the proprietary headset that came with the device so I purchased a bluetooth stereo headset and have never looked back. Windows Mobile is powerful and this device handles it well. Great for email, syncing calendar, utilizing the web, making calls, and lots more....

Easy to use. Wish it came with a book rather than a CD to learn about all its functions. When something does as much as this phone does I supposed a CD is needed....

The Blackjack I is a great phone with many features. It has a learning curve that requires reading the manual if you really want to get the most out of it. I don't do texting, download songs, use the internet on it, etc. but I do use the calendar, calculator, camera and more. I had two problems when I got my phone. 1. it was not Vista compatable and 2. I didn't like the numeric keypad as there is a space between the numbers. The Blackjack II eliminates this problem.

Since I use both Vista and XP, I had to keep mine with Outlook sync and not use it with Vista. This has not been a problem but if you only had one computer OS, and it was Vista you would need to upgrade.

I also like the idea that it is Windows compatable.
...

My friend gave me her old blackjack when she bought an iPhone. Personally I think the pda type phones like the blackjack are far superior to the iPhone. Ya its not all cool and slick, but you just cant beat the simplicity in its function. Ill never go back to a normal phone, and doubt i'll blow the extra cash on the latest bells and whistles....

Samsung Blackjack is on the marker for about a year. I have it just as long. Recently, Samsung released the updated version of the OS 6.0 for the black Jack phones. I am loving new features of the MS Office which let me work with the templates on the run. Other features are easy to use as well. For example the texting and emailing are extremely easy to use. Internet is a at finger tips and always available. Another most important feature is the battery life which lasts three days after prolonged use and abuse. I love this phone. Compared to the LG c2000 I have Black Jack is a mobile office computer.

PS. Did I mention to say I can play music on my phone storing it on 2GB disk?

Good luck.
...
