i've had this phone for a while now and i've never had a problem with it. It's got shocks in the base so if you close it too hard it doesn't hurt it. the mp3 program tends to drain the battery but all in all, great phone....

I purchased an A 900 in February. The cycle on a charge was a couple of days. I contacted Samsung and they advised me to send the cell phone back to them and they would return it in 3 to 4 weeks. I found that unacceptable. I lived with the short battery life until June & took it to a Sprint repair facility in Oxnard CA. The diagnosis was a crack in the plug recepticle in the phone and they stated they could replace it for $35.00 but they didn't have one in stock. They sent me to another repair facility in Ventura CA. That second facility said there was nothing wrong with the phone but would replace it for $50.00. Angered, I left and decided I would be forever be tethered to a recharge cord. In July the phone died completely. I gave up, switched carriers and got a Nokia. I couldn't be happier. Charges on the Nokia now last for a week and I get signals in places where I could never get a signal with Sprint and the Samsung....

I have had to replace this phone twice, thank god for insurance, due to its own technical malfunctions. It is sturdy, but looks like a guy phone. I cant wait until my contract is up and I can get aeay from Sprint once and for all. The Blade phone is only worth it if it is free, and no newer cell phone models are available to you,...

i have owned a Samsung A900 for over a year now & talk on it for several hours a day, it is my only phone. This thing has the best battery life & I am very rough on cell phones and it keeps going. It has fallen off a moving car, been dropped more than I can count & had water dripped on it numerous times & keeps going. I had to get it replaced under warranty due to the tech said I had talked over 3000 hours on it & he said most people never talk that much on a cell phone. Oh & I never turn it off unless I am resetting it. So I would highly recommend this product to anyone....

The Samsung A900 is a slim, stylish little phone. It has lots of features but is still easy to use. I like that it is small, but you can still press the numbers easily. I have found the contacts list to be a little quirky - like if you search for a number by group, you can't easily dial from there, and occasionally when a friend calls, it shows the wrong photo. But, overall no real problems. Long battery life. Kind of dinky charger connection, but it still works. Super durable....

The Samsung A900 is very fucntional and stylish. While I find the design to be rather plain and symple compared to most phones on the market today, its design makes it more durable than most stylish phones out there....

I have had my A900 for over a year. I've never had any trouble out of this phone.

Pros:

--Ability to play songs without opening the phone (phone includes navigation buttons on exterior)

--Ability to move the camera lens various directions to get that 'good shot'.

Cons:

--Storage space isn't that great for good quality; however, you can put a memory card into the phone to extend storage of pictures, songs, video, etc.
...

This is one of my favourite phones so far- it's lasted me almost a month, which is a lot longer than most phones last me, and it's still in perfect working order! I love to listen to songs without having to busy out wires and wires and tangled up stuff- it's all on my phone now! The battery life is a little short, of course, but it's to be expected....

This is a good quality phone; i've dropped it a few times, it still works/looks great. The battery lasts a really long time if you just talk on it, not for hours a day, though. If you listen to music on it, though, the battery gets sapped pretty fast.

The only other annoying thing is that sometimes music just randomly starts playing; if you hold down a key on the front of the phone, and then accidentally press it again (Ie being in your pocket and you lean forward a couple times or whatever) it starts playing your playlist. Happened to me a few times in embarassing situations.
...

The 1.3-megapixel camera takes pictures in four resolutions: 1,280x960, 800x600, 640x480, and 240x320. Other options include three image-quality settings, a flash, a self-timer, portrait and landscape modes, 10 fun frames, brightness and white-balance controls, eight color tones, and four shutter sounds, as well as a silent option. You also get a 5X zoom, but it's usable at only the lower resolutions. Like music files, all pictures are stored on the phone, but a nifty status bar tells you how much space is remaining. Image quality was admirable, with distinct colors. Unlike with the MM-A940, pictures were rarely blurry, but they tended to look washed-out.Music quality was surprisingly good through the stereo speakers on the front flap. Sure, it won't compare to that of a stand-alone MP3 player, but songs came through loud and clear. With the phone, open the speakers away from you, so sound quality will diminish somewhat. We tried downloading "Forever Young" by Youth Group and "Don't Cha"......

I just switched from a RAZR to this phone and it's AWESOME! So much better than the RAZR. Its very fast and battery life is great. Very sharp looking phone! The camera takes really good pictures for being a cell phone camera. The camera lens even rotates so you can take photos with the phone closed. Really good phone overall!...
