I bought their extended warranty for my laptop. Two months after factory warranty expired so did
my A/C power adaptor. Called their warranty company and they sent me a 90W aftermarket charger
for some unknown model. It had NO engineering stamps of approval, and it said it was for "Nottbooks" and its date was 5 years older than my laptop!!(I also bought a HP 90W charger from Sam's as a faster spare and wanted a 65W to replace the failed one that came with the laptop as a slower charger extends batery life and I only use the 90W when in a hurry) The second one they sent had a tip way to big. The third one had all the engineering stamps, was a 65W model, but when I tried to plug it in, when it would go no further, my laptop spit it out! It is about 5mm longer than the original and it actually popped out when I released it! I called and they told me to push harder, much harder and I refused to do that. I was afraid I might damage the internal plug of my laptop. Since I was not cooperating...
...

lightonmyfeet says "Deals that come with the worst employees" about Sam's Club

We are members of Sam's Club and have been for probably 18-20 years. I find that Sam's Club is not a guaranteed best price, but if you know what you are looking for you can trim costs from your family budget. We became business members years back, for our small service retailer that we owned and continue our membership for our personal needs as well.

Things like Charmin Toilet Paper, which my husband will use no other, is not the cheapest product at $7.68 a 12 pack at our local store, at Sam's club they have 36 rolls for $17.98 creating a net savings of $5.06. We only purchase the deals or can only find items at Sam's Club.

However much I enjoy saving a dime or two, sometimes I find Sam's Club far from worth it. They have employees that it would kill to smile or be in a good mood on the evening and weekend shifts. And not just one or two. We generally go in the morning pre-hours for businesses, but occasionally have to come in the off hours to fit our schedules.

MGarcia says "Worst website to puchase" about Sam's Club

This most be the worst website to purchase ever. Everytime I have place an order on line I received an email that I have to call to verify my order. I call and anyway the CN the order without explanation. I called and now I have to wait for a call in 3-4 days from their Order Verification Department to see what happened. Incredible. Never had any problems buying from the COSTCO website. Twice this has happened.
...

I recently renewed my Sam's Club membership since they built a store about 5 miles from my place. I am a health conscious shopper and was disappointed to find out the lack of organic produce such as bread and frozen vegetables.

Prices are reasonable though and comparable to Cosco. I suggest you provide a variety of organic produce for the health-conscious consumers if you want to stay competitive.

...

Below is a rule with a Business Sam's Club Membership stating that you can purchase on-line using AMEX as one of the payment methods, however the website does not go into detail regarding the only thing you can purchase is select items (VERY Limited Amount Of Items) for delivery only. If you select items that can not be delivered the order is considered a Click"n"Pull for pick up at the nearest Sam's Club which does not accept American Express as a payment method.

When calling the local store Chattanooga, TN to ask why the on-line order did not prompt for payment I spoke with 4 very rude representatives before being told that Click"n"Pull orders are not considered on-line orders. Correct me if I am wrong... I spent 30 min's placing the order on-line to be told that it is not an on-line order? Of course very confused by this comment I asked to speak to a Manager to help me understand. I waited on hold and a man by the name of Matt introduced himself as the OPS Manager explained...
...

taffyhit says "Love Sam's Club, but the Corpus Christi club is awful." about Sam's Club

I love Sam's Club.

I have lived all over Texas, in parts of California, and in and around Orlando, Florida.

I have been to Sam's Clubs in other states as well.

Unfortunately, it builds anxiety when gearing up to make a trip to the one in my hometown of Corpus Christi.

Make sure you bring a freezer bag; because, you are guaranteed to spend some time waiting in line.

Maneuvering about the club is a long and difficult process.

Items are left in carts and on palates in the worst possible locations for traffic flow.

Often, ice crystals are built up in ice cream and other frozen goods indicating temperature abuse.

Check all fresh produce closely. It often has suffered bruising, lacks freshness, or has experienced temperature abuse.

Buying the same cheese product can yield much different results, texture-wise, from one week to another. A sliced block is just a block when it is left out of refrigeration for too long.

Don't ever go between 12 and 1 on a week day.

Along with half the town on their...
...

I generally love Sam's Club but today I have a negative review. The past two times I've been there I have been disappointed in one way or another. It bothered my husband even more than I....

ucffather says "Great in house cell phone prices for contract extensions" about Sam's Club

On a recent trip to my local Sams Club I noticed that a specific cellphone was on display in the Kiosk.
I inquired about the price for a contract extension on my current AT&T family plan just to upgrade my phone only. To my surprise the price was exceptional & unlike @ the AT&T store there were no strings attached.
The cost to upgrade included the Sams sale price of the phone, local sales tax, and of course AT&T's activation fee. The only draw back was the stock availabilty which took four weeks for them to get in...

I have been a member of Sam's Club for almost 8 years now and I love going there to browse and do my monthly meat shopping. Bulk packaging is the name of the game here and it can save you a lot of money.

Electronics

All sizes of HDTV televisions are on display here and you can easily compare between different models all at good prices. Batteries of all sizes as well as rechargeable batteries. Home security cameras, computers, cameras and sound systems for every taste. I walked in about a month ago and a beautiful television caught my eye, it was a 63" Plasma and had a decent price of $2,999.95 too bad thats a bit over what I can spend. Video games of all platforms with games and accessories for them are all lined up in a neat and orderly fashion.

Appliances

Washers, Dryers, Refrigerators and Freezers are here and waiting for you to pick which one you want. Not a big selection for such a big store but a few too choose from. They also have kitchen appliances for cooking, food storage and mixing.......

Sams Club is a convenient location to shop for items you may use all the time. I try to limit my purchases there to what I really need as the items will quickly add up to more than I am willing to spend. The bakery there is wonderful. You can order a cake in advance or pick up premade goods. In each part of the store, there are always product displays and free samples being given away. The one thing that I do not like about sam's is that they do not accept coupons the way that bj's does. Also I feel like they should have a better variety to choose from. I like to buy fresh chicken wings there, but usually, they are sold out because the business members who get early morning access has purchased all of them.
...
