jtkrav222 says "A pretty decent place for baby in the bath" about Safety 1st swivel bath ring

I have mixed opinions on this bath chair. I did not buy the bath chair but it was given to me. I like that it just looks like a simple seat. Unfortunately with my tub it doesn't suction because I have a stupid plastic tub insert thing. BUT if i'm in the bath with baby i can hold it down so the suction doesn't matter. My son is fixated on the colored rings on the front of the seat so he sits still really nice in it. As far as safety goes with this seat, it seems that it would be easy for baby to slip out of it if you weren't holding baby or hovering right over baby. But when we are taking a co-bath which I prefer anyways so I don't have to worry about getting wet; this seat works great for us. I like how it holds him in place and gives him something to focus on. He can also feel like a big boy sitting up in this instead of laying down in a baby bath tub. I still have a mixed opinion on this seat.. But I like it for the most part, it works for us.
...

CrystaBush says "Safety 1st's bath ring is the best!" about Safety 1st swivel bath ring

Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat

My children are too big for a bath seat these days but I own a daycare and when you own a daycare, sometimes messes can get outta control and the child may need more than just a baby wipe down.

This is why I keep a Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat on hand. This bath seats suctions well to the bottom of the tub and doesn't tip or come unsuctioned, no matter how big or small the baby is. They can rock and try to escape but it's not going to happen in the Safety 1st Bath Seat. (Even so, please don't leave baby unattended in seat).

The Safety 1st Bath Seat also swivels for easier cleaning. This is much needed relief on our backs as we are trying to wash a squirmy, messy baby quickly. The only problem that I have with this seat is when it's time to wash the booty. Usually I try to remember to hit that area first before setting them into the seat.

Otherwise, I couldn't recommend the Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat enough.

I think this is a great baby shower...
...

adria says "Not good if you have a taller baby with chubby legs." about Safety 1st swivel bath ring

My mother in law got one of these for our son for her house. Getting our son in and out of this thing was no easy chore. Our son isn't fat but he had kinda chubby legs at the time. He was also kinda tall so his legs didn't want to go in it. The openings are big enough but I guess the length from his foot to his knee was too long so it didn't really work too well. The suction cups also didn't work to good in her tub or ours. She gave it to use since she didn't like it. We didn't use it at our house but once and gave up on it. We went and got another tub seat that the front pulled up over the legs. It didn't spin to great either....

dovey says "swivel bath ring keeps baby in place and mommy dry!" about Safety 1st swivel bath ring

I wanted to review this Safety 1st Swivel bath ring for a couple reasons. First, I like this product and find it helpful. Second, many people buy these second hand, or get them handed down, and may not have the safety information they should.

This swivel bath ring is a seat for a baby who is able to sit upright and has outgrown the infant tub. The baby sits in it as it is suctioned to the tub bottom. It can swivel around to reach all sides of baby, and has these decorative bead type things on the front for baby to twirl. The bottom has four suction cups, which will not work on a textured tub bottom. This is key! If you have a texture on the tub floor, and most people now do, this product will not work, it just won't be safe.

My baby has always been bathed in the sink in an infant bath covered with a big sponge made for baby baths. This was always easy and comfortable, until she was too long and in danger of really hurting her head on the porcelain sink. I needed something to help...
...
