This tub was given to me by a friend. At first glance I thought this was the tub for me. The box describes it as easy to use, fun, safe, easy to clean. NOT REALLY! While it will last for a long period of time for a child to use the downsides are too big for me to tell you that you should spend money on it. Once this bathtub was out of the box I had to figure out how to use just the newborn part, ok, seems easy enough. But then as my son got bigger I need the toddler part. That was tricky at first because there were no real instructions on what to do to get it set up. The worst problem though was being able to move the tub around in the bathtub. I wanted the tub clean for my sons next bath but the suction cups were so suctioned that I kept having problems getting the tub clean. Saftey was ok, and fun is not a word I would use to describe any tub but all in all my tub was free. That was the best part!
...

We have the frog version. I guess that's the newer one. Anyway, we put this bath on our registry because of all the features it has (goes from newborn to toddler). Boy do I wish we had saved the box because this tub STINKS!! At first we thought it was leaking because I forgot to open it & lock it. If only that was the cause, the tub leaks like crazy. The incline mesh doesn't fit right & it pretty harsh for a 1 month old. Oh yeah, we have to use this inside our tub because it leaks so much. I've already talked 2 friends out of keeping this on their registry becuase it's so bad.
...

i bought this as for first son back in 2004, well as for size not crazy big its ok i guess compared to others, i didn't really like it at all i could never figure out how to keep water in, your supposed to push in middle and it locks down but never worked for me. then there is a mesh thing that goes inside to hold the child that you had to place in right spot so it wouldn't fall which was a pain. the only thing that made the bath worth having was the mesh thing for baby cause i ended up trashing tub and using the mesh in sink or bath. all in all not worth money. oh and the bar with the wire mesh the plastic broke off and would rust!
...

I used this tub until just recently, and as long as you use it in the tub your safe. And the the cups on the bottom are HORRIBLE! Once it's stuck to the tub, it's a fight to get it off! Good luck with this one....

This is the perfect tub for our house. We used this for our first child from a newborn and up and never had any problems. Once he was big enough we were able to break it down and it stored easily in the cabinet. We have now gotten it back out and are using it for our second child. I love that it works in a seated position and for an infant laying down in the sling.

I did find it a little difficult to clean down in all the cracks until I started using our steamer and that works like a charm.I never had any problems with it leaking you just need too push down hard and make sure it snaps.
...

Don't waste your money on this! It's the worst tub I've ever used! It leaks like crazy, making a huge mess. The suction cups make it nearly impossible to move to empty it, creating a bigger mess. It's supposed to be collapsible, but it only "collapsed" about 2 inches - why bother? And I feel it's incredibly unsafe for younger babies! The incline that it comes with doesn't secure to the tub and moves around. I was so terrified that my baby was going to slide off of it the way it kept moving that I needed someone else to either hold or wash him. Two people to bathe a baby is just not practical when you have to do it mostly during the day by yourself!...

When I first got this tub I was excited because it seemed like it had plenty of stages. A sponge for the newborn and a sling then a tub then a seat. The sponge is too flimsy to be of much use. If you want to use a sponge, get the Leacho Safer Bather. It's soft, keeps the baby warm and is substantial. Then there is the infant sling. The sling is awful because the baby will just slide right down it, or roll off. The tub itself is slippery. What I have found that I like is when the baby is old enough to sit up, flip the sling upside down and use it as a seat in the tub itself. The baby can't slip anywhere and can even lean back on it. Our daughter loves it. We still use it and she's 10mos old. Like a previous poster, I keep it in our regular tub. I like that it's smaller and she has fun in it. I haven't used the seat yet and frankly won't. I haven't had any trouble with leaking. It's an inexpensive tub and for the money, it's not bad....

I boguht this tub beacuse I wanted a large, basic tub. I quickly liked the sling that I could use to lay my boys in while in the tub. My boys love to kick and splash in the tub. However, the tub leaks like crazy! It is supposed to be collapsable, but it only gets a few inches shorted when collapsed. The seal has been redesigned by the manufacturer, but when I called because the tub leaked all over the place, I was told the tub cannot be moved with water in it. At the time I used the tub on my counter and had to fill it in the large tub and move it. So, I returned the tub and am much happier with another product....

I received this tub as a shower gift. Originally, I used just the sponge and then used the tub with the sling in it once the baby was about 2 months old. My daughter is now 8 months and still uses the tub. She doesn't need the sling any more, but I still find the smaller tub convenient for her to bath in. I keep the tub in my regular tub since I find the regular tub just too big for her now. The tub does collapse for storage which helps some, but it is still quite bulky. The tub did leak once of twice after adjusting it from the collapsed position, but I think we had just not clicked it completely open. A couple of minor adjustments corrected this....

Ok, for the record, I think baby bathtubs are useless and I wish I had figured that out sooner. Particularly useless is this product which is supposed to convert to a bath seat. It's too shallow, hard to fill and frankly just morte trouble than it's worth. An infant needs to be in deeper water to be washed and a larger baby will create tsunami with these low sides. You're much better off using the bathroom or kitchen sink or lining your big tub with a nice fluffy bath towel and filling with a couple inches of water.

If you must must buy one, then just buy a bath seat - but remember these are among the most dangerous baby items because they can lull you into a false sense of security.

This is one item you don't need to add to your registry!
...
