I bought this so we could have a clock in our room and I could have somwhere to charge my ipod. We were certainly not rough on this machine at all. In fact, only myself and my husband ever touched it. But, it broke after about one year of owning it. First of all, it stopped laying and charging the Ipod. The connections still looked fine, but there was no way to get the thing to play or to charge the IPod. At this point, the closk still worked, so we kept it anyway as an alarm clock. But, then a button for the alrm simply fell off one day, so it was hard to shut off the alarm. Then, another button fell off. I cannot understand this at all because it has not been moved off of the bureau and it is not like we hit or something. So, overall I am quite disappointed with this item and have passed the year mark so the warranty is up on the product. It definitely was not worth the money. And, it should have lasted much longer than it did.

This is a great accessory for your iPod! It works as an alarm clock, radio and you can plug your iPod in it. It receives great sound and is clear. When you set your alarm, you can choose to wake to the beeping sound, the radio or your iPod. It has a snooze feature as well. Definitely just a great asset to the iPod. There are many docking stations out there but don't be fooled. I'd definitely always go with the iHome brand. With the iHome brand, you know you are getting a quality product. It may be a bit more than other brands but it is definitely worth it.

The iHB5 iHome radio is a fairly decent iPod docking system. The radio works very well and comes with an antenna to use for better reception. You can set about 8-10 radio stations on the iHome. Both AM and FM stations work fairly well on the iHome.

Another nice feature of the iHB5 iHome is that you can plug in a portable CD player. It would be very nice if the system had a CD player in it already, but the ability to plug in a CD player is nice to have.

My only problem with the system is that the alarm does not always work well. The two options are iPod or radio, but no buzzer. Also, the alarm does not always go off at the set time. This may just be an issue with my system, but it would help if the alarm was better.

I have had an iPod for about four years and since these docking stations have been coming out, I have wanted one. I received the SDI iHome Battery Charger, Docking Station, Speaker System, Clock Radio for iPod as a gift for my birthday. I was so excited to begin using it. It is very easy to set up and you can even listen to the radio on it. There is a remote included with it, but it is very small and does not work very well from a fairly small distance. At first, I loved this product. I loved using the alarm on it and waking up for class listening to one of the favorite songs. After a few months, I noticed that the alarm was not working as well. Some mornings it would not go off at all and I would wake up late for class. After a while, the alarm function stopped working completely. Also, it was harder to listen to music. I would dock the iPod and click the button but it would not automatically start. I would have to mess around with it for a few minutes, taking it...

i love the ihome for my ipod. It is so easy to use and veristle. I love that i can just plug my ipod in and ti will charge it. I hate having to have my computer on because i alwasy forget and don't want to deal with it. Now i just stick my ipod in my ihome and it charges. Although i am having a bit of problem my dog chewed through my cord and I am in search of another one. I haven't been to the store yet so I am hoping i can get a replacement without having to do it through the mail, we will see. I am at a loss until i get my new cord. Otherwise i love the quality and the way that it looks. I have mine next to my bed so i can listen to tunes when ever i am in my room and have the time available. The speakers work well for my use and the system is easy to take with you if you want. I have taken it in my motorhome when we went on a trip so we could listen to music when we where camping.

I absolutely love this product! You can listen to your ipod while it charges or you can listen to the radio! it comes with a remote so you can hit play whenever and has a alarm setting! works with any ipod - there is different pieces to make it work. Oh and with the remote theres a snooze setting so you can catch a little more shut eye!...

Its compatible for all ipods.The music is clear and loud. You can wake up to your music by making a playlist or let it play from the first artist on your ipod to last.You can go to settings and turn shuffle songs on so you hear the songs playing in random order when you wake up.The music plays low at first and eventually gets really loud when you wake up to the alarm of your ipod....

I got my iHome as a Christmas present over 2 years ago and I haven't had a single problem. It plays all the music on my iPod perfectly, gets good reception to local radio stations, and I've never overslept. I can't express how great it is to wake up to anything I want rather than the jarring blare of many alarm clocks. It's a great 3 in 1 device. I don't own another iPod docking device, another alarm clock, or a radio. I love it!!...

This is by far my most favorite thing about having an ipod. The docking station keeps my ipod charged but plays at the same time, functions as my alarm, and has completely replaced my stereo system. Its great! It matches the ipod, so it doesnt stand out as a cheap piece of junk. The fact that it fits most any ipod is great for when you have friends or family over that have different styles. Its gets nice sound for something so small. The only down side is that I cant find replacement buttons. The button rows are actually one piece per row and the play button has broken loose of the row and jiggles (mainly because I press the play button atleast 4 times a day and I've had it for over a year), but I cant find replacement parts. I've resorted to finding broken ones on ebay.But all in all I LOVE this thing!...

I love my iHome. It is a great little machine. I am pleased with the sound I get for my music and I love waking up to my ipod in the morning. It is nice because it has a duel alarm. You can wake up to your ipod, radio, or buzzer. As for sound quality, it is not 100% the best, but for what I use it for, I do not need the best. If you are looking at this product to be the only speakers for your iPod, it is worth it for the price, but you might be disappointed in sound quality. If you are looking for something to temporarily charge and listen to your iPod, then this is your product. And who doesn't love a multi-functional clock!...

I had been watching for one of these for a while and found it on sale before Christmas. I wanted something for my office so that I could listen to music while working, but didn't need a big stereo system. This is perfect, as it is small and doesn't take up much room on the desk, but does fit right in with the look.

The sound quality is very good, it is easy to use and as a bonus it charges your Ipod also, so now I can keep my usb cord in my laptop case for when I travel and charge my Ipod on this while I am home.

Overall it was a great purchase, I am very happy with it.

After purchasing thise iHome radio alarm clock, i have been even more satisfied with the use of my ipod. Now i can wake up to music i want to or go to sleep while listening to a water fall track that i purchased on itunes. What's not to love about this item>? Only draw back is that is not very travel friendly but then again, who takes their own alarm clocks with when traveling?...
