I used Rust Oleum Hammered Bronze Metallic Spray Paint to repurpose an old cast iron floor lamp base. In just a few minutes, a piece of rusty scrap was transformed into a lamp for a night stand. It had the design, and Rust Oleum Hammered Bronze Metallic Spray Paint added just the right finish....

I used this product to transform my ordinary wrought iron plant stands into beautiful hammered copper ones in less than an hour. I am not handy at all but I was not able to afford the true copper ones so I decided to give this paint a chance. I was very impressed with the effect and the ease of use....

When it comes to painting Ive had lots of experience and part of that experience is knowing which paint to buy. Spray paints are the hardest to decide on, because of all the brands and types, textures, well you know what i mean, but I have done my research and when it comes to quality finish, durability, color and texture choices no mess, and of course cost, Rust Oleum paint is my first and only choice. RustOleum Hammered Bronze metalic spray paint gives that realistic look of real hammered bronze, so For that professionally done quality look I choose RustOleum Paints every time....

crete04 says "It really provides the finish the can says it does" about Rust Oleum Hammered Bronze Metallic Spray Paint

This was a great product and so easy to do-we made a wine cellar and wanted the ceiling to look like an old wine barrel, the ceiling was rounded with pine tongue and groove planking and then we had metal straps 2 inches wide which we painted with the hammered copper spray paint, after it was dry we ragged on black glaze to make it look like it was rusted and weathered. We attached the strips to the ceiling with square screws-looked like it had been there for years and aged naturally.

This was an easy to use product and the finish turned out exactly like the can said it would. I definately will use this again on other projects.

...

RudiXeno says "Can really transform a cast-off into a thing of beauty" about Rust Oleum Hammered Bronze Metallic Spray Paint

A couple of years ago the beautiful Mrs. Xeno came to the conclusion that she really needed a wrought iron tea cart for our screened in lanai. I mean it was simply a must have. And as luck would have it she just happened to have a catalog with a picture of one that would fit the bill perfectly. The problem was the price tag. Call me crazy but $578 for a wrought iron tea cart that was going to sit outdoors doing mostly nothing seemed a tad excessive to me.

We had just a year earlier completely refurnished an entire house (and I do mean completely) in a little less than six months and my checkbook still needed a little time to recover. But luckily, Mrs. Xeno is married to a man who listens to her and hears her needs.

So when I saw that tea cart at the yard sale I knew it had Veronica's name on it. She could not be denied. They wanted $50, I offered $30 and predictably we settled on $40. Not bad for a wrought iron tea cart that was painted totally the wrong color.

The Solution

I took my...
...
