I loved Royal Carribean Explorer of the Seas. The food was excellent as well as the staff. We purchased the romantic package for $99. I would recommend everyone to think about purchasing this.

The package included a huge breakfast in bed (it covered the queen bed). A bottle of champagne in the state room when we arrived. A platter of chocolate covered strawberries delivered to the state room. A plate of different cheeses delivered to out state room. An 8x10 silver picture frame with our choice of the picture. Delivery of chocolate appetizers to our room.

I can not wait to go back, I plan to get the romantic package again but travel to somewhere I have never been.
...

My family and I have been on 3 cruises 1-Explorer of the Seas, 1-Freedom of the Seas, and 1-Navigator or the Seas. We are going in Mach 2010 on the Explorer again. Royal Caribbean does not have a bad shop they are all beautiful with lots to do on them. My kids just love them too. They are always busy and I never have to worry about them. I would love to go on everyone of Royal Caribbeans ship just to check them out and travel to all the places they go. I cannot say enough good things about taking a cruise vacation. It is everything you need all in one. Exoctic places, lots of great food and tons of entertainment. You can even just enjoy laying around the pool all day. Royal Caribbean staff is attentive and always around to get you anything you ask for. The places they go to are fantastic especially their private island "Labadee". Just a relaxing place to soak up the sun, snorkel or use the beach toys. If I could take a Royal Caribbean Cruise every year I would. ...
...

Royal Caribbean - Explorer of the Seas was such a wonderful cruise. We traveled on Carnival after this trip and it did not compare to the terrific service, food and overall atmosphere on the Royal Caribbean ship. The excursions were wonderful too. There was a lot to do at night in the various lounges, ice rink, etc. We will choose Royal Caribbean for our next cruise.
...

After taking an incredible 10 day cruise on the Explorer of the Seas in April of 2008, I have come to the conclusion that Royal Caribbean is the only way to cruise.

April's cruise was my 14th but my partner's first. She, like I, will now travel no other way. The staff was absolutely incredible, the amenities impeccable and the service was no less than 5 star. Our ship left from Bayonne, NJ, which was extremely convenient for us as we reside in Westchester County. We were literally dropped off at the ship, surrendered our luggage and walked onto the ship. We were welcomed with an beautiful lunch prepared buffet style in the Windjammer Cafe, and then proceeded to our stateroom by 1 p.m. and the fun began! Our ports included the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico and Labadee (Royal Caribbean's own area in Haiti).

There was nothing negative I could say about this experience. We personally do not like buffets, so opted to dine in the dining room for every...
...

Our cruise left Cape Liberty on a Thursday and headed to Bermuda. Check in was fairly seemless and moved along quickly. No champagne was offered on arrival on the boat as we had received on other lines. We chose to first tour the ship and then head to the Windjammer for something to eat at the buffet. The buffet was extensive and the quality was that of what you would expect from a buffet. A large selection. Finding a seat was a little challenging since everyone seemed to be heading for the same place.

The sailaway party was fun a lively. There was plenty to do both inside and out. Between Johnny Rockets, the pool, the many bars, and the indoor promanade you are never bored. Even our 3 kids always found things to do.

Our room was a Family Oceanview looking right out the front of the ship right under the captains bridge. We were nervous about the rocking but never had a problem with that or any type of seasickness. Which had been a problem in the past for our oldest.

...

I took a 12 night eastern caribbean cruise on the explorer. I went with my stepmother, stepsister (19) and myself (20). We shared an interior stateroom, that had two twin bed and a third that came down from the ceiling. We were all happy about the comfort of the beds its not home but its not a hotel. The room also had plenty of storage for all of our clothes, and there was alot. The safe held a video camera, two digital cameras, passports/documents, several jewlery boxes, and three wallets, and we probably could have stuffed more into it. The room was always clean. The whole ship for that matter was clean even the public restrooms! On to the most important part...The FOOD! I was never disappointed with the food. There were things that I did not like but that was just me trying new things nothing to do with the food itself. When I didnt like something the waiter was more then happy to bring me something new.My favorite dinners were the lobster night and the alternative chicken. The food...
...

This was my first cruise. we went together as a family. it was great! i loved it, and i want to go on another one for sure. i had no complaints at all once we were on the ship. there was a little error in booking the cruise, but that was the fault of the trave agent, not the cruise line. be sure to know who you're booking with! a 7 day cruise is perfect, and i think anything shorter wouldn't be enough time. it was great getting to see different cities and islands, and never having to pack and unpack all your luggage! i loved it, and i think it was the best vacation i've ever taken!...
