      <title>frounfelter says &quot;Acoustic thrash - best of both worlds&quot; about Rodrigo y Gabriella</title>
      <link>http://www.viewpoints.com/Rodrigo-y-Gabriella-review-0a490</link>
<description>Rodrigo y Gabriella show courage with their debut release &quot;Rodrigo y Gabriella&quot;. Rodrigo comes from a thrash/speed metal background and takes his balzing heavy leads into the acustic realm with partner Gabriella. This CD offers covers of Orion (Metallica) and Stairway To Heaven (Led Zepplin) and includes a DVD of live performances fo tracjs on the cd. I can listen to the CD entirely, and prefer to do this while working or relaxing around the house. The group is tight and the fingerwork is fantastic, but in the end I kept hoping for something more. The cd feels like it needs some vocal work thrown in, and it is entirely instrumental. Their playing, in my opinion, begs to have some female vocals attached.... </description>
