the Rival 6 Qt slow cooker is used in my home at least once or twice a week. you can cook a whole meal put it all in and set the time and come back to the whole meal cooked and ready to go, easy clean up too if you spray it with no stick spray. you can buy a cheap cut of beef throw it in the pot with some kind of your favorite dressing or vinegarette and it is sooo tasty and tender you'll love it.

Easy to use and easy to clean up. Only issue is that it would be nice to see how much time is left. There is no manual timer so you can set your own time. It would also be nice if there were a nicer cookbook that was sent with it. The cookbook gets damaged and lost on the shelf where we keep our cookbooks. They should also include something to wrap up the cord with. Most people use a slow cooker on the counter and do not need such a long cord. ...

This crock pot works great, and is easy to clean. I also like the size of it - I can make a meal for 4 easily and then my hubby & I can eat leftovers the next day. I also like the fact that it shuts off after a certain time but still stays warm until you get to it. My only complaint is that I wish there was more flexibility with the times. There are only 2 time choices for low (I think 8 & 10), and 2 for high (4 & 6). I have a recipe that requires only 4 hours on low and I can't make it in this crock....

In the winter, my slow cooker goes at least twice a week if not more. I make everything I can in it. I actually have three sizes depending on what I plan to fix at the time. I have collected so many recipes just for slow cookers that I do very little other cooking in the winter besides slow cooking. Using it a couple times a week gives me plenty of left overs for the other days of the week. My hubby always walks in the house and says "what smells so good" and of course, I tell him it's the slow cooker that's been going all day. Because I work most days, it has been a life-saver when I'm too tired to do anything when I get home. My life would not be the same with out my slow cookers!...

This slow cooker is wonderful and handy to use when making a large meal like roast and all the fixings although, the lid could have more of a dome to it. The little cooker is very handy when your having a romantic night home with your special person. It is also very easy to clean which is a big plus in my book....

I love this slow cooker. I can just turn the dial to high 3 or 6 hrs. and leave. The food tastes great. No fuss. I'm not the best cook but now I get alot of help from my Rival slow cooker. Now I can cook anything in it with out a mess or alot of time in the kitchen. My family says dinner is ready when the smoke alarm goes off but when I cook with my slow cooker the great smells of great cooked food brings them all to the table. My daugher in law asked for a slow cooker like mine for Christmas. The price is right. I just bought hers for $ 27.00 I highly recommend buying this slow cooker from Rival. It' Great !...

I love this crock pot! It has been a real lifesaver for me. Its large enough to cook just about anything you would need. I have even cooked small turkeys and hams in mine. I have more than one and on holidays that is great! I have cooked my turkey in one and my dressing in another. After working 3rd shift all night before a holiday this is really nice. All total I have 7 crock pots of different sizes. I can get everything going then I can go to bed and wake up to my holiday meal almost completed!...

I RECIEVED THIS AS A GIFT, DIDNT USE IT FOR 6 MONTHS, SO I FINALLY DECIEDED TO MAKE A POT ROAST. IT CAME OUT WONDERFUL, TENDER, COOKED WELL. THE NEXT TIME I MADE IT CAME OUT EVEN BETTER. I'VE COOKED SAUSE, BBQ'D PORK AND BEEF STEW AS WELL. THE MINI POT IS GREAT. I'VE MADE FONDUE AND EVERYONE LOVED IT. THE SIZE WAS GREAT FOR DESERTS AND THE KIDS HAD FUN WITH IT....
