I love this Rival Crock Pot Smart Pot. I use it all the time. I am a busy person that does not have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen. I love throwing something in the Rival Crock Pot and letting it go. When I get home from work, shopping, Dr appointments or whatever I feel so releived that dinner is ready.. I also use the keep warm option to keep food that I have already cooked hot until ready to use. This really works good for appitizers that you might be taking to someones home or a tailgate party.

We use our crockpot often for long slow cooking and convenience. I can put a dish on to cook before leaving for work and it is ready to serve when I return home.....WOW. This one has the "keep warm" feature that makes it easy to keep a dish ready even after a shorter cooking time....

We purchase the Rival 38501 Smart Pot 5-Quart crock pot about 3 years ago. The crock pot we had been using wasn't meeting our needs. This crock pot allows you to cook your meal and then after it has cooked it will automatically adjust to keep the food warm. Too often we had come home to overcooked food. With the Rival 38501 our food was never overcooked. So nice to come home to a meal that is ready and waiting for you. ...
