My name is Jessica and I have had this ice maker for over a year I love it!! Anytime we go to an event that i know there is going to be lots of kids or a cookout i take it and all the fixings to make ice cream!! They love it!! It doesnt take as long as the one I had as a kid. Or when i just want my own flavor of ice cream i get creative and thats what i like. All in all great product

You must keep it in good condition, because after a while, the salt may leak into the ice cream, which will ruin the whole night....

The ice cream maker has a great counrty kitchen look, and would be great to leave out on a counter. The process to make ice cream take quite a bit of time and requires alot of attention. The costs of ice, salt, milk,flavorings, fruit etc, far exceed the cost of buying several pints of Ben and Jerry's. The unit is loud and sort of virbated its way across the counter top. Finally you will need a full size freezer to keep the final product....
