The Rival Crockpot is a must have in the kitchen! My fiancee works 12 hour days and I commute over an hour each way for school. When we get home the last thing we want to do is cook dinner, but luckily with the crockpot when we get home dinner is usually ready to serve! We have had this product for over 2 years and it does a wonderful job of cooking our food just right. The removable inner ceramic dish makes clean up a breeze since it is also dishwasher safe. I have tried other brands, but this one takes the cake. It has been the most reliable whe nit comes to cooking time and clean-up. It also comes with a wonderful little book that contains tons of recipes that are all phenomenal! I recommend this product for anyone that is on the go and just doesn't have time to make a meal for dinner, it is also great for soups, stews, and other comfort foods that warm you right up on those cold winter days. I hope you enjoy the product just as much as we have!
...

The Rival Crockpot is a must have in any kictchen. Especially if you are a busy household on the go. I babysit my granddaughter in another town so when I get home sometimes it is late and don't have time to make a complete meal. I can throw left overs in and turn it on for a little while and it heats everything up while I go do something else. The best part about it is that you can put your meat and vegetables in at night and turn it on low and by morning you will have that days lunch ready to go. This is good when you have a lunch to pack I also store the whole thing in the refirdgearator and it keeps the food fresh. You can take a little at a time out to heat it up. Great when you don't have time to cook. Also you can put frozen food in it and cover it with water and turn it on and you don't have to worry about it burning or over cooking, You can go do something else while it is cooking because you don't have to keep watch over it. Clean up is easy too
...

PPJ says "Love a Crock pot" about Rival Crock Pot

Who can not have a Crock Pot these days. They are the best and there are so many things you can make in them. Even Martha Stewart has recipes. I love tro stew meats and make barbeque pulled pork. It made making the food and cleanup super easy and the pork tasted divine. It allowed the fat chunks to rise to the surface and I could pick them out so my pulled pork had fantastic flavor but did not have fat chunks when the guests bit into their sandwich.

I do not get mine out too often, since IU do not have much counter space in the kitchen, but it is fantastic for not heating up the house during a very hot summer.

I have been tempted to get the lil' dipper pot, but I wish there was one that was about 2 and a half quarts so I could make soup in it. I plan to check around because I'd love one that size.

Writing this review makes my mouth start watering for a slow cooked meal, so I guess I'll see what is in the cupboard and give it a go...
...

Crock pots are a wonderful neccessity in the kitchen. This rival crock pot is a great tool. Crock pot cookery is so easy. Put all the ingredients in and set the temperature and just let it go. This paticular crock pot is of good size so it can handle everthing from roasts to stews to desserts. The weight of the pot makes this easy to clean up after too. I love cooking on the low temperature to bring out the tenderness and flavor of many foods especially a roast of any kind. Entire meals can be created easily in one pot with very little effort needed from the cook. However the food comes out tasting like you have been at the stove all day. This is an especially nice tool to have in the kitchen when you have to be out at work all day. Put everything in in the morning and it is ready when you get home in the evening. It is a lot nicer cleaning up after fewer pots and pans as well. This is a large enough pot for cooking and yet a small enough pot for easy storage too. ...
...

COCOABINK says "EASIEST WAY TO COOK FOR AN ENTIRE FAMILY!!!" about Rival Crock Pot

I HAVE HAD MY CROCK POT FOR EVER IT SEEMS. I HAVE THROUGH THE YEARS UPDATED MY CROCK POT ALWAYS STAYING WITH THE RIVAL CROCK POTS. THEY HAVE MADE SO MANY UPDATES AND IMPROVEMENTS THAT IT DOESN'T SEEM POSSIBLE THAT THEY COULD EVER ADD ANYTHING MORE CONVENIENT, BUT THEY ALWAYS DO!

THE CROCK POT HAS A HIGH, MEDIUM, AND LOW SETTING ALONG WITH A KEEP WARM SETTING. REMOVABLE CROCK POT BASIN WITH IN THE ALUMINUM COOKER MAKES IT EVEN MORE CONVENIENT FOR COOKING AS WELL AS SERVING OR EVEN TAKING TO DINNER PARTIES! IT HAS LOCKING CLIPS THAT YOU CAN SECURE THE LID ON TO THE POT TO TRANSPORT, WITHOUT EVER SPILLING A DROP!

MY CROCK POT IS MY BEST FRIEND AS I AM A VERY BUSY ON THE GO STAY AT HOME MOM OF FOUR KIDS, AND ALSO HAVE TWO NEPHEWS OVER FOR DINNER PRACTICALLY EVERY DAY! MY HUSBAND ALWAYS ENJOYS A HOME COOKED MEAL IN MY CROCK POT, IT IS ALWAYS A SUPRISE TO SEE WHAT IS FOR DINNER! YOU CAN VIRTUALLY COOK ANYTHING IN A CROCK POT, AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO STAY AROUND TO "TEND" TO IT!!

I WOULD......

I don't know what I would do without my Rival Crockpot. This is a great appliance to own. The best things about it are the removable pot - it's so easy to clean - I can actually just put the pot into the dishwasher when I'm done. I also love the different heat settings - which specifies how many hours it will take to cook something. This is so helpful when I'm calculating what time I want to serve the meal I'm cooking. If you've never used a crockpot, I don't know what you're waiting for! These are so easy to use, and the food comes out delicious!!! I use mine all the time! I've made roasts, chili, chicken, stews, cider, creamed corn . . . I can't even remember everything I've made in this crockpot! The crockpot comes with a hany recipe book to get you started. The crockpots also come in a variety of sizes to suit your family's needs. I've had mine for almost ten years and if it ever breaks I would buy another Rival crockpot in a heartbeat.
...

I have had my Rival crock pot since I got married in 1990. It has a removable crock which can go in the dish washer. It has two settings: low and high. I use it at least two times a week and it has never disappointed me. I have recently switched to using crock pot liners for convenience, but the crock cleans up easily if you spray it lightly with cooking spray before hand. Most of the time, I prepare my meal the night before and place the entire crock in the refrigerator. The next morning, I simply place the crock in the pot, turn it on low, and it's ready to eat when we get home. I have cooked meat, soups, vegetables, and even some desserts in it. It is by far the best value appliance I own. I can't imagine not having my crock pot. If and when it finally stops, I'll probably go to the store that very day and buy the most similar Rival crock pot that I can find. (I also use the very small Rival crock pot during the holidays to keep dips warm--it works great!)
...
