My Rival Crockpot is like having a third hand! I can put food in it in the morning and not give it another thought. Return home and have a delicious meal ready to go on the table.

It is super easy to clean. Lift the ceramic liner out and wash, then wipe off the metal cooker.

It is like having a cook. I don't think life gets any easier than that.
...

I'm not a great cook, I admit it. I've never quite gotten the knack of melding ingredients together. When there's X, Y, and Z in the dish, you can identify each and every one.

That is, unless I use my Rival Crock Pot! There's something about slow-cooking that tenderizes and brings out flavors that otherwise remain hidden. I'm able to cook up a batch of food that lasts for days. I can still be creative with the side dishes so that we're not eating the same thing day after day. One day it's over noodles, the next with rice or mashed potatoes, or some dishes can stand alone.

The Rival Crock Pot allows some flexibility with its controls. There are two settings each for High and Low temperatures allowing you to cook for either 4-6-8-10 hours, depending on the recipe or the time you have available. I've been able to adjust recipes that call for ten hours of cook time for a quicker six hours with good results.

Most appliances that I own get put away after each use. However, I'm proud to have the...
...

As a child in the 1970s (opps did I just reveal my age?)... My mother was the queen of crock pot meals. She had a cook book and every now and then we would have some stewed feast she threw together the night before, had it cook all day and when we got home dinner was hot and ready.

Although she was a stay at home mom, her days were so full that having dinner cooking while she was running after me and my brother made a ton of sense.

As a working woman I really appreciate the slow cooker. Granted I just as often use it to make boiled peanuts as I do to make stews, but no matter what task I throw at my Rival Slow Cooker it is up to the task. Corn-beef and cabbage, boiled peanuts, brisket, pulled pork, slow simmered BBQ ribs, chili- both meatless and with meat it handles it all.

I love the ability to cook slow, or fast (heat settings) as well as for two, four, six or eight hours, plus once the food is cooked the pot keeps it warm until you are ready to eat.

Finally, it is dishwasher safe....
...

Hello! My name is Laura and I am going to be writing a review on the Rival crockpot.

What a wonderful creature! Finally I am able to put a nice five pound roast or chicken in the crock pot and still have room for all the goodies such as carrots, potatoes, celery and whatever your little heart desires. It has an oval shape so you are able to spread all your ingredients out instead of having to stack them on top of each other when you used the round version of the crock pot.

The Rival crock pot has a removable pot so there is easy service because you can just cut everything up and let everyone serve themselves directly from the pot and then there is easy clean up because you haven't had to make another dish dirty. You can also keep your leftovers in the pot and put it right into your refrigerator if you choose to and then take it out and put it into the microwave to rewarm. The crockpot is also dishwasher safe so all in all it is a great product for the busy mom or the bachelor!

Don't you...
...

The Rival Crock Pot is a must have. In the winter it's great for soups, chili, pot roast, or anything that tastes better the longer it cooks, you just put it together and come back when you're ready to eat. In the summer, it gets very hot in Arizona, so I like to use my slow cooker to keep the house cooler, and what a wonderful job it does to make a great tasting meal everyone will eat. It's easy to clean with the removeable 6 qt. crock, it's just a great item every kitchen needs.
...

I have the programable Rival Crock Pot and use it faithfully. I love the functionality of this crock pot! My husband and I are full time corporate employees and have a hungry 7 year old to feed as soon as we get home from work. I can throw together a meal in the Rival Crock Pot before bed, put the crock in the fridge, and pop it in to cook before I leave for work in the morning! It is great to come home to the smell of a meal that's been cooking for hours! My favorite feature of the Rival programable crock pot is the "keep warm" feature. When the meal is done cooking it automatically switches to a lower setting that keeps food hot enough to eat but not so hot it keeps cooking. No more dry chicken and roast. Everything that comes out of my Rival crock pot is amazing. I also have a very expensive cuisinart crock pot that sits in storage in my laundry room becuase it doesn't have the keep warm feature of my rival! I recommend this to everyone!
...

This is the greatest slow cooker I have ever used. Easy clean up and very dependable. It's a lifesaver for those of us who love home cooking and just dont have the time available to do it. I love being able to come home from work and dinner is already prepared. Great food at the easiest possible way to prepare it.The large capicity makes it great even when you are having company. So much nicer than the old style that were more upright than spread out Its very accurate, I've even double checked the temperature with a thermometer and its right where it says it should be. I would encourage anybody to buy one...

I love these we use them for parties and they are really nice for dinner I can put things in in the morning like pot roast or crock pot pizza or chili and I set it on low and then we have dinner ready when we get home. It is also really great for parties. For graduation we put in barbeques, poor boys and baked beans that were ready when we got back from the ceremony. The 4qt hold one industrial can of baked beans perfectly. I love it!...
