I have owned my Rival crock pot for over 3 years now and it has been my best friend in the kitchen. I only have 3 people including myself in my household to cook for so I do not need a big crock pot. This 4.5 quart model is perfect for the small family. There is even enought room to make a dish and still have some leftovers. It is super easy to clean and light weight. It is great for making roasts and soups. All I have to do it throw the ingredients in when i get up and turn the crock pot on low. By supper time, you have a hot meal ready and waiting for the family with out having to worry and fuss over cooking. If you are in a hurry you can turn it on high and cook your food faster too. On high you need to monitor the food more and stir it because things tend to burn on the side when it is set at high. If you are looking for an inexpensive easy to use crock pot this one is definitely a smart buy.

These are tough economic times and with the biggest shopping day of the year just having passed, it seemed appropriate that nearly every store was having crazy deals on slow cookers. So I bought one for a very low price and save lots of money during the big sale. The Rival Crock Pot slow cooker is great for making easy, inexpensive, and great smelling home cooked meals. There is nothing more comforting than the smell that wafts through my place when I am cooking up a dish in my new slow cooker. There are tons of vegetarian recipes available for free on the internet for slow cookers. These are healthy meals that can be prepared with little effort and little money. This is great for time and cash strapped people who are trying to get through this recession. This is also a great gift for parents and siblings as well. It is so much cheaper to toss some ingredients into the Rival slow cooker than to rely on frozen food and so much healthier than fast food.

I think the rival crockpot would be a great addition to anybodys kitchen appliances. Especially with winter coming up, this crockpot is great for soups and many other meals. It is also great for busy people on the go. You can leave it cooking at home while you are runing errands and it is perfectly safe. The most important thing about the rival crockpot is that the meals are so easy to make and you dont have to spend a whole lot of time in the kitchen. I would recommend anybody buy this product. It is fantastic. there are so many meals you can make in this crockpot. you can get some crockpot cookbooks from the bookstore that has many recipes perfect to use for this crockpot. i am a single person but the rival crockpot still works great for me.
I can make large meals and freeze the left overs and cook less often. clean up with the rival crockpot is also a breeze wich makes life a little easier to.

I love my Rival Crock Pot. I use it every week. It is so easy to put food in, and walk away. I find that sometimes I get condensation build up and it bubbles, making the lid rattle a little. I've had my Rival Crock Pot for 6 years now, and it still works great. The only problem I've had is the handle on the lid broke off, but it snaps back onto the screw. I have to be careful when handleing the lid, but it doesn't affect its use at all.
It is a great size for our family of 4 (2 are toddlers), but some larger roasts are difficult to fit in it. I will be getting a bigger Rival Crock Pot as the kids get older and start eating more, I'm sure!
It is easy to clean, and easy to use. I recommend a crock pot for everyone!!

The Rival 4.5quart Crock Pot is great for my fiance and I who are always on the Go We just throw everything into it in the morning when were leaving for work and when we get home all we have to do is dish it out and everything is tender and cooked all the way thru . We use our crock pot about 2-3 times every week and we love it! although if you were feeding a family of 4 or more this crock pot might not fit all the goodies in it to feed them all i would recommend choosing a crock pot in a little bigger size but i know for the 2 of us it works very well and we always have leftovers that we can just heat up the next day so this product is defiantly a Plus for the people on the go as we are ,...

I love my slow cooker. I mostly use it in the winter months, but how wonderful. i love coming in from the cold after a hard day at the office and walk into a warn house filled with comforting smells. also, know that I don't have a entire meal to cook when I get home is a huge plus....

I recieved this Rival crockpot in white with my Coke Rewards. It has been great. I put a whole chicken in it the other day and it was GGGGOOOOOOOOODDDD. Also had room for some
potatoes and onions. The lid and pot goes in dishwasher.Tempurature works very good....

I bought my Rival crockpot for about $15.00 at a grocery store & junked my old Presto one and am I glad I did. It looks nice not only on the counter but the crock also looks nice with most place settings on your table. Also, the crock cleans up pretty easily. The size is not too big nor too small. It does leave gray marks in the crock from utensils but, for me that's minor. The appliance itself works great....

I love to cook soups, stews and spaghetti. This has made my life so much easier than working over a stove all day. I have been able to save money and time with this Rival Crock pot. By using food that is not so fresh to make soups or stews I have stretched my dollar. Besides the taste that I can get from slow cooking it has also tenderized the meat. Meat use to be of excellent quality years ago. Now they throw in select grade which is extremely tough and tasteless, with the crock pot you can add flavors besides making the meat eatable. With spaghetti you do not have to worry about burning it when you leave it over night to cook, providing you have enough juices. Everyone should own a crock pot!
