I have owned this Crock Pot for about 5 years and could not do without it. I have cooked a variety of things in it and it cooks the food very good. I have tried things on all different levels of cooking and have found no problems with it. I have an older one that is different than this and this crock pot works the best in less time. It cleans very nicely as all pieces come out separately so you can clean each piece completely.

I would recommend this product to everyone that I know.

This is a great product. With the automatic timer it allows me to do some great cooking and not have to worry about it....

I was given a rival crock pot as a wedding present in March. I have found that it is extremely easy to use. This crock pot has only three setting on it, low, medium, and high. As a new wife with not a lot of cooking skills I have found this product easy to cook many recipes that my husband enjoys. The rival company also included with the crock pot a recipe book that was very helpful in getting new ides to make. Not having many recipices yet this was a great start for our new marriage. Neither myself or my husband have ruined any meals with this product yet. Another great feature that I have found is that you can remove the inner container of the crock pot. I enjoy this because it allows for great storage in the refrigerater of any unused food. It also allows for easy clean which I absolutely love, being a wife that hates doing dishes. A few years ago I bought a Rival 6 quart crock pot and I have never regretted it. I have been known to prep a meal the night before going to bed, set it in the morning, and have a fabulous dinner the next night. It really makes life really easy for me. I love the large oval shape--perfect for a roast or a giant soup or stew. And I absolutely love that the crock is removable so it can be easily cleaned. I do find that the HIGH setting is extremely high, and that if you are going to have to leave something for over 6 hours, you really need to be there to turn it from LOW to WARM, or things will start to stick to the crock or dry out.

I also cannot say enough--if you have never used a crock pot, don't be afraid of it. This crock is very forgiving. Throw in frozen meat, a bunch of veggies, and some liquid and it will become dinner. To clean, throw the crock in the sink, fill it with water and soap, and in the morning you can just wipe it out. Easy as anything.

I have the 6 quart Rival Crockpot. It is a big oval shape so great for doing big items such as a ham or large roast or small turkey. It has a glass lid that attaches at the back so you can tilt it back to stir things or add things and it stays up. When you get ready to serve or clean up, the lid just slips out of the sleeve easily. The ceramic liner is black and is easily cleaned. There are so many recipes for slow cookers and this one has enough temperature settings to make almost anything you want. It does cook a little hotter than the old original crock pots so be aware of the when you are going to leave it cooking for a longer period of time. I never worry about going off somewhere and leaving it to do the job. It is attractive enough to serve out of too! If you are a busy Mom or homemaker, this is a good tool for you to use. It will save you many hours of hovering over a soup or stew or many other items waiting for it to cook. You can use it virtually unattended....

I love this crockpot best that I have ever had. I have had this for quite some time now and still works like brand new. Easy to clean and it doesn't take up much room.

I love my rival crockpots. I have two. They are excellent for making large amts of stuff. I also use them to keep foods warm that I have made another way! They are handy, easy to care for and to clean! You can make almost anything in them!! The only thing I can't make in it is home made Pennsylvania dutch pot pie. But I do use it to keep it warm!! These are also great to take to picnics-reunions and pot lucks! Excellant value!! I have talked my children into using them. I use this almost daily!! It is small enough to store easily. I wish the cord was a little longer-but understand why it isn't. This is one product that should definately be in all kitchens. It takes no special. Almost all cookbooks have slow cooker recipes.Mine have lasted a long time-especially considering how often I use them!! I also like to defrost food in them!! I am so glad I received the Rival 6 quart slow cooker as a present. Last Christmas I got a Rival 6-Quart Slow Cooker. My life has never been easier. With 2 active kids that are always on the go, it is so simple to throw something into the Crock Pot in the morning before I go to work and dinner is ready for us when we get home. The meat is always so tender. You can make such a variety of meals in it also. Special crock pot recipes are all over the internet. I love to cook corned beef and cabbage in it, the meat just melts in your mouth. Chili is another great food to cook in this crock pot. I have also stewed chicken in it and then made dumplings - my family really enjoys the food cooked in this crock pot and I enjoy the fact that we can get a nutritional meal so easily. I would highly recommend any one with a busy lifestyle to try a crock pot. You can save so much time to enjoy other things.

I really love this appliance. It has saved our family alot of hassles and headaches over the years. The wife and I doth work. We have a nine year old brat as well. I have cooked everything imaginable in this thing. Chili is a snap to prepare and is always ready by the time the game or race comes on. For a great slow cooker meal I would suggest pot roast. Simply place the roast, potatoes, and carrots in the pot. Cover with a can of cream of mushroom soup ( not thinned down) and cover. Start it on the low setting before heading out for work. When the work day is over and you get home it's done ! Clean up is really easy as well. The beutifull thing is the removable crock. This makes cleaning so much easier than the old style slow cookers. It comes in a few different colors so you can match it to your kitchen decor. Another plus about it is that I have seen replacement lids and crocks at Walmart.

This allows you to set to one of four heat/time settings. It automatically switches to 'warm' till you are ready for it. I use it at least once a week.

I have a family of 5 and we are always on the go and have a different event to go to 4 nights a week. I use my slow cooker several times a week. I prepair my meal in the morning and by the time everyone is home in the evening everything is ready to eat. It cooks perfect every time. Meats and roasts come out so tender they just fall off the bone. I totally love this addition to my kitchen....
