For all of you busy moms out there...this is the crockpot set for you...the Rival 6.5 Quart Slow Cooker w/ Little Dipper. You can actually use the bigger crock pot to cook your meats, meat loaf, chicken...whatever!! My family's favorite is a beef roast with mushroom gravy (all you do is place your meat in the crock pot, place some dry lipton soup mix on top, then top that off with some cream of mushroom soup.....then let it cook on low for 8 - 10 hours). I like to place my meat in the crock pot in the morning and let it cook all day. Then...I like to use the smaller crock pot to cook greens or any other vegetable. I have cooked veggies all day on low, along with my meats;however, you may want to just wait until you get home (if you don't plan on eating right away). The little crock pot's also good if you have to just stop at home for a little while and then leave again. You could possibly put the veggies on during your stop and put your meat on warm. However you choose...
...

I love my crockpot, use it all the time, this is my 4th one, I have 3 total all rivals different sizes, after I dropped and broke my 1st crock, I couldn't stand not having one so I made sure I had more than 1 in case of another clumsy day. The crocks are very easy to clean even with cooked on food, comes right out. There isn't anything I won't try to cook in a crockpot, the only thing I haven't tried is a cake, my mom did and it came out, that'll be the next thing I try, I can't imagine baking a cake in the crock pot, but I'll give it a try....

This is a basic stoneware slow cooker that has no settings, just plug in and go. It's holds 1 - 1 1/2 cups of whatever you want to heat up in it. I just used this to make a nice garlic butter sauce to go with the artichokes I was cooking. It's a great little product to have in the kitchen. It's very small and not intended for cooking things. What it is for is heating up your favorite dipping sauce, keeping fondue warm and I have even heated up a package of those tasty pre-cooked BBQ finger wiener dogs.

What I love about this product - the dip stays at the perfect temperature for 3-4 hours. It is perfect for Superbowl parties, at home or away. It's great for melting chocolate for dipping strawberries, pineapples or any of your favorite fruit.

The Little Dipper also comes with a few yummy recipes to get you started on warming your Little Dipper up. Dip away.
...

My husband saw a Rival 6.5 quart crock-pot with Little Dipper to heat cheeses for dipping, etc. BJ's had a $5 off coupon so he got it. I was thrilled to have a new toy in the kitchen. Rachel Ray uses them for roasts, so I bought a nice 3# one to try it out.

New Year's Day we wake to 2 feet of rozen snow, not prediicted, and it is 7 degrees outside. SO I named it a CHILI DAY. Got the Slow-Cooker out, put 3 cans of beans, 2 cans of tomatoes, all the spices & onions into it. Then I browned the Ground Round (1.5 #) and added the meat to the chili mix & pushed the digital setting to HIGH so it would come to a boil & then I put it on medium to cook. Smelled good as I was cleaning the bird cage & a large BOOM sounds & smoke is pouring into the living room from the kitchen.

All my cabinets, appliances, floor have pieces of the crock-pot container and chili all over. The metal heating element has chili on it so it is smoking away, so it got a boot out in the snow. Took me over 2...
...
