What I know about R&B and hip-hop can be summed up with the following words: “it’s not my thing really.” So when my friend, Calum, forced his ear phones on me and made me listen to the current single “Umbrella”, from Rihanna’s third album Good Girl Gone Bad (GGGB), I was surprised to find that I liked it. A Lot. In fact, that afternoon I went home and downloaded the entire album.

GGGB is loaded with dancey, hip-pop tracks that run the gamut from the Euro-dance electronica of “Please Don’t Stop The Music” – easily the best track on GGGB — to the guitar driven, Prince-esque sex romp “Shut Up And Drive”.

“Umbrella” feat. Jay-Z – what doesn’t Jay-Z feature on these days? – is the dancey, hooky first track from GGGB. Although Rihanna’s voice lacks the emotive qualities I usually prefer, electronic production makes-up for it with interesting vocal manipulations, giving her voice a knife-edged sex appeal. rihanna's good girl gone bad is a good r&b record and is what you might expect from a debut album. there are some great calaborations, but unfortunatley those are the one's that are a little to overplayed for my taste! You end up skipping around to your favorite's.

Rihanna is great at what she does. I love music and I listen to music as much as I can. If I could be in the music biz I would. I love it. The song Good Girl Gone Bad is prefect for everyone. You should listen to it over and over again, it gets better every time you hear it....

The Rihanna-Good Girl Gone Bad album is great to listen to while driving, dancing, in the shower, and pretty much anywhere you can think of being while listening to great music. The songs have a great beat and lyrics too.

I listen to this album all the time while driving, on my mp3 player on the way to class and while exercising. It's great pump up music. This album is great to have onhand for parties too, especially if you want everybody to get up and dance.

Unfortunately quite a few of the songs have been overplayed on the radio but they are all still great songs.

Definitely worth adding to your collection.

Good Girl gone bad is a great CD to listen to, Rihanna is a great artist and you should deffinitely give the CD a try!! I would deffinitely reccomend this CD to everyone I know, it is very easy to enjoy and a great listen. A lot of people I know have listened to this CD and loved it to, It can be found in many stored, or even on iTunes!...

Rihanna has a beautiful voice and she has certainly made another great album. Her strong voice makes her a wonderful singer and a pleasure to listen to. Her song Disturbia was def. one of my favorites as well as the song rehab. Her style of music varies which makes her a even greater artist. The best part about this album is that Rihanna deals with real life issues in life and turns them into great music/lyrics....

Okay Rihanna's new album just blew my socks off. Now everyone thought that they had seen all of her after she did like S.O.S. and all that stuff, but oh no! They were SO wrong! Rihanna is making sure everyone knows why they call her Rihanna. Rihanna- Good Girl Gone Bad, is going to be remembered for a long time as a CLASSIC! My favorite two songs on this CD are Rehab and I believe it was Disturbia (A lil over used though), I could just listen forever! OMG OMG OMG! Yay! I love you rihanna don't change a thing!...

I think Rihanna outdid herself on this album. Not only does she look fantastic but she has several songs that are number one hits. I love the ballads like Rehab and then the dance like Disturbia. The radio plays over plays some songs too much but they do that with every new hit that comes out. I like all her tatoos and her new hair. Sometimes it is hard to understand what she is saying with her accent. Her Umbrella song was a smash hit that even my little girl was singing it. I think if you want to listen to something with some beat and emotion then you should definitely check out this album....

rhianna's good girl gone bad seems to capture all moods. no matter how im feeling there is at least one song on the album that relates to my mood. this album brings me great comfort. it is also and album i can listen to with my 14yr old daughter without being afraid of inappropriate lyrics. i hope she keeps putting out amazing albums....

I loved the rihanna good girl gone bad album. I love the up tempo hits and the ballots are good too. I love how much energy it had. It was very positive and made you want to dance and sing along. It had a lot of work with the dream and good producer who wrote beyonce's put a ring on it single. Let me get that was one of my favorites it deals with her saying its okay if a man wants to give her things, shes going to take them why not. Breaking dishes was and infectious hit and funny she talks about messing up the house since her man is always coming home late....
