So a few months ago, for the first time, I borrowed my friends' $200 CHI hair straightener. I loved it. It was perfect. For Christmas, I asked for a straightener too. Mine was Remington Wet 2 Straight, and it cost about $20. I'm not complaining, but this works nothing like the CHI. I guess I should have known that it wouldn't be as good.

I would not reccomend this if you have curly hair. If you have wavy or straight hair (like me), then this is a good straightener for a good price. I personally, have straight hair, and I still have to go over some pieces of hair a few times to get them to be straight.

A major pro of this straightener is that it has 30 heat settings. So instead of frying your thin, already pretty straight hair, on a heat setting of 30, you can put it on a lower setting. Another pro is that it can be straightened when wet and your hair becomes dry almost instantly.

A disadvantage of this iron is that it has a bend, which makes the appearance look a little strange.

Trying to get your hair straight but hate how straightening irons tend to dry out your hair? Tired of using a hair dryer first before straightening? The Remington Wet 2 Straight hair straightener is an amazing appliance that you can you on wet or dry hair. I love the fact that I don't have to use a hair dryer to dry my hair first before straightening it. The iron heats up quickly, probably less then a minute and with 30 heat settings, you're bound to find one just right for your hair type. I've had mine for 4 years now and love it. I can't see myself going back to the regular straighteners. This is definelty the straightener for me. I use it every day, sometimes more then once. It's great for touch up as well. I would recommend using a serium on your hair before straightening. Word of caution, I did actually get burned once because I was not careful and used it a bit too close to the scalp.

I have tried several hair straighteners of different brands but none can hold up to my Remington Wet 2 Straight-- I have been fully converted, and this will be the only hair straightener I will own in the future. My sister recommended this to me and it has literally changed my daily routine. I was convinced by my other straighteners that my hair would just never be able to be straightened and last all day, but the Wet 2 Straight luckily proved me wrong. It works really well and gives me straight hair all day. I love the different settings and have tried it on dry and wet hair, adjusting the heat settings appropriately, and it has consistently worked for me. I have owned this straightener for over two years now and it is still going strong. I love the automatic shut off feature- it gives me peace of mind, even though I make sure to unplug it every day. It's also very durable-- I bring this with me when I travel and I must admit I've dropped it a time or two, and it still works like the day...

Remington's Wet 2 Straight hair straightener works well on both wet and dry hair. The tool heats up in 3 seconds which is great for those of us in a hurry. I find I still use my blow dryer to dry the roots of my hair on top other wise my hair looks very FLAT! I don't dry it completely and it does steam the hair straight using the water already on your hair, but I prefer a little more body than flat against my head. I have used it on dry hair as well and it always looks great after blow drying and then using it on dry hair. I purchased it at a mass retailer for a reasonable price and it has held up for over a year.

With a broken straightener in hand, and a whole vacation ahead of me, I was forced to venture to the store to acquire a new tool. What seemed at first a drag turned into a blessing! I had never tried a wet-to-dry straightener before, but the price was right (less than I have ever paid- less than $30) so I decided to give the Remington Wet2Straight a shot.

I was pleased to discover that there were two settings, one for wet hair and one for dry. The device also quickly jumps to the user's setting of choice (from 95-400 degrees) in only 30 seconds and lets you know it's ready with an audible beep.

Since I started with towel-dried hair, I used the proper setting that allows moisture to be released through steam vents. The time that it took to finish my past-shoulder-length hair was way less than expected.

The result was beyond fabulous! Not only was my hair completely dry, but there wasn't a kink in sight! Then came the true test; after...

Ok let's get started i bought this Remington wet to straight flat iron about one month ago figuring that it's gonna work because i paid $75.00 for it,well i thought wrong this flat iron is the worst ever,when i put this thing in my hair it's hard to pull down well i think it has soimething to do with the plates and it doesn't get as hott as it says it suppose too.It takes forever to straighten my hair if i do it only once my hair gets frizzy so i have to do it a couple of times to get it straight and to me thats not actually healthy that ruins your hair if you straighten it too many times so probally all together it takes me about two hours just to straighten my hair and my hair is probally up to my ears it's a bob cut,so you tell me a bob cut two hours come on,it should not take no more than twenty minutes to do a hair cut like that,so anyways i give this probally a two rateing nothing more than that well thats all i got to say ..

I bought my Wet2Straight after seeing my sister in law use hers. She did my hair one time and I was hooked!! I got out of the shower and dried my hair a little so it was just damp and then she started from the back working up and in a matter of about 40 minutes she was done and my frizzy hair was gone!! The steam that comes out of the flat iron can be hot and it did burn my ear a few times but overall a great flat iron. I bought mine not long after. A 1 inch black Remington, hers was a 2.5 or a 3 inch I dont know, there is two sizes a one inch and a bigger one. Its handy, not heavy and has a locking mechanism on the back for sitting down and not having it burn anything. Even when you do sit it down it sits odd and tips over so if you leave it sit when its on tipped over whatever surface its on its going to start melting it because it heats up to 375 degrees. When you turn your Remington Wet2Straight on your gonna see this big oval on the front and it lights up purple and the heat starts...

I recently purchased the Remington Wet 2 Straight Hair Straightener to go with my new hair style. I was having a hard time choosing between all that are available but the fact that the Remington Wet 2 Straight Hair Straightener can be used on wet hair was the cinch for me. I was hesitant to use on wet hair for that fact that I felt it would damage my hair but it is very kind. There are several settings so if I DO feel my hair is being damaged all I have to do is turn it down to a lower setting that will be fine for my hair. Also, there is east of storage as there is a lock on the Remington Wet 2 Straight Hair Straightener that keeps it closed. Overall, I have nothing but good to say about the Remington Wet 2 Straight Hair Straightener. I have never used a straightener before but feel I will stick with this one as it is GREAT!...

The Remington Wet2Straight is a very good product. I am someone who has frizzy weather controlled hair. I have been afraid to venture into the world of straighteners due to the fact they tend to damage hair. I have been using Wet2Straight for six months and my hair has NOT sustained visible damage. In fact, I spend approximately seven minutes using this straightener, and it looks like I have just walked out of a beauty parlor. It heats up quickly, and leaves the hair with a smooth vibrant look. I live in Florida with lots of humidity. Usually, by the end of the day my hair looks like I stuck my finger into an electrical outlet, but with this straightener, my hair looks like it was just done. This device has a digital readout and ceramic plates. You can use it with wet or dry hair. This device is light weight and very small in size (you can take it anywhere!). This straightener has a reasonable price and I recommend it!

The Remington Wet to Straight flat iron is one of my wife's best friends. She uses it about every other day and it gives great results. Her hair is normally wavy and sort of dry looking and yes I love it, but I really like it when her hair is straight. It gives such a different look and seems shiny and soft. I can tell it makes her feel better about herself because her attitude is different. Also it doesn't take near as long for her to get ready in the mornings or before we go out on the weekends. The price is also very reasonable for the quality.

I saw Remington wet2 straight in the store last Christmas and put it on my Christmas list. Since my husband bought it for me my blow dryer does not come out as often. When Iam going out I just separate my hair into sections and dry to straighten in half the time. It has settings from 1 to 30 so that you can pick your temperature from a simple dry hair straightening to a more complex wet to dry and straighten. I strongly recommend this product to anyone who straightens their hair.

The Remington wet2 straight hair straightener is a great product. It is inexpencive compared to the overpriced chi straighteners. I have had this straightener for years and I will say it is one of the best that I have ever had. It is very small and sleek and has 21 different temperature settings. It heats up very fast and beeps when it is ready to use. I love how quick it heats and cools down for easy use. It can be used when your hair is wet or when it is dry. I prefer when my hair is dry because when it is wet the steam from drying the hair falls on your arms and it does get very hot. It keeps my hair straight all day without having to restraighten throughout the day. I am very impressed with the product and the amount of time I have had it. I find that straighteners done usually last long when you have to use them a lot but this one seems to be lasting a long time. I would definitly buy another one if this one breaks.

This is a great flat iron but not with soaking wet hair. if you just took a shower and want to straighten your hair this isnt for you. It will fry your hair. If you blow dry your hair first then flat iron it. This product is fine. Overall it is a good product. :)

My Hair is Very Curly and I hate it, So I usually straightened it all the time. But when I am running out of time and I just got out of the shower My Remington Wet To Straight works just fine. I usually wait till my hair is dry, wet to straight is perfect if you dont have the time to wait. So I recommend to get the Remington wet to straight for does people who are always on the go and cant wait till your hair dries. It straigthens my hair quickly and easily and I love it, now I can just instantly hop out of the shower get ready and straightened my hair quickly. I got mines at Bed Bath and Beyond, I believe its was 29.99 and I've had it for 2 years and it still works like its new. My favorite brands of Starighteners are Remingtons, so if you are looking for a straightener adn cant decide which one to get I recommend Remingtons Wet to Straight you wont regret it

Remington "wet to Straight" is one of the best flat irons you can buy for the price it is sold for. I bought me one over 5 years ago and is still as good as new. If i ever had to buy another one this would be the one i would buy again. You defenitly can't beat the price or quality. Now as far as using it on my hair wet i have not tried that so there is not much i can say for it. It has a heat setting up to 30 and that would be for wet hair but that is the setting i use for dry hair and it works as well as one of the expensive brands. So before going out and spending all that money on a more expensive one from a salon try remington wet to straight and see just how good it works for you. As far as frizz goes it will take all the frizz out and leave your hair silky smooth and straight. You can purchase one of these at any local retalier. Example Walmart, Kmart and you can pick one up under 30.00 dollars.
