The Redken Extreme line was recommended to me by my sister-in-law who owns her own salon. She has been a hair stylist for years and was shocked when I told her I had been using Pantene products. Apparently she has done a good bit of research and found that whatever is in Pantene is strong enough to take wax off of floors! Yikes! After I heard that I was a little concerned. I'm normally a bargain shopper which is why I bought the Pantene products I had been using. The salon brands are normally just too expensive for me, but after hearing how the brands sold on Wal-Mart and Target shelves could actually ruin my hair I made the switch and bought the Redken products.

I have only been using this Redken line for 3 weeks but I already love it! I believe it has really helped my hair! Not only that, but my husband has started telling me that my hair smells great! That's a nice bonus! My suggestion to everyone is to stop using the cheap brands and get something that will really...

The extreme redken shampoo is not to bad but the conditioner is very bad. It makes the end of my hair feel course and dry. My hair feels heavy with this product. It tangles up real easy with this product. I am not a redken product user but some one talked me into it. I have not liked since. I do not like the way it makes my hair feel when it wet or dry.

I have really fine hair that I heat-style and color all the time. This is the only shampoo that I can use that keeps my hair healthy and smooth without weighing it down or drying it out. Redken Extreme rocks!

Redken's Extreme line of shampoos and hair care are great. I've always had terrible feeling, easily broken hair. Once I started on a regimine that my stylist suggested it has never felt or worked better for me. I have very very chemically processed hair and it's just as soft and strong as when I was a child. It really does what it says and puts protien complexes back into your damaged hair leaving it soft and silky and shiny. I've even noticed it groeing better faster since the breakage has stopped. Also, it has a super scent. Not fruity and perfumy but clean and fresh. I recommend Extreme to anyone, I even have my daughters use it since they use hot tools on their hair daily. It has helped them from experiencing breakage and damage that flat irons and curling irons do. It will also help you prepare for a color or other chemical service in the future if you're looking to go from dark to light or even light to dark. And since a little goes a long way the inital investment pays for itself...

The Redken Extreme line really works. My hair was badly damaged a few years ago and I was shown the *Extreme* light. A stylist chopped my locks and pointed me to the Shampoo, Conditioner, Deep Fuel and All Soft Butter Treatment, and my hair has never been better.

It took about a month, maybe a little more, but my hair became strong again, and is now longer and stronger than before. I could probably switch back to the cheaper stuff I used before, but since this has been proven to work I don't see why I should. I use the shampoo and conditioner most of the time -unless I'm going curly, then it's the Smooth Down and regular All Soft conditioner- and I alternate weekends of Deep Fuel and Butter.

Never in 28 years have I had better hair! My girlfriends scoff when I pick up the bottles, because of the price, but I just tell them it's worth every penny!!!

A new hairdresser turned me on to this shampoo- my bleached blonde hair was in a terrible state. I used Redken Extreme shampoo and conditioner for a month with unbelievable results. My hair was damaged for so many years. This shampoo was a Godsend. The other Redken products are good too. You don't need to use a lot of product . A little goes a long way esp. if you have fine hair like I do. You will be happy with this product if you have thick hair or fine hair. Catch it on sale on the internet !...

I had my hair higlighted a few months ago and even though I loved the color, it left my hair really dry. It felt like a brillo pad when I was washing it. I bought Redken extreme shampoo/conditioner and the Extreme Anti-snap a few weeks ago. I have already seen a big improvement!! I love the redken products. I am going to try the All Soft line next. My hair dresser recommended the Extreme line to get my hair in decent shape and then switch to All soft to maintain. I love it because I can pile on the conditioner and it won't weigh my hair down like others (I have normal hair). The smell could be better- it doesn't stink but I always like hair products that smell great! Overall, great product and I now swear by Redken. If you want to get your hair in good shape, give this a try!...
