I love this magazine! The recipes are always great, and I always look forward to reading their tips and tricks found towards the front of the magazine. However, I could do without the "road test" section where they list the best brand (i.e. best jeans for short people, tall people, etc etc).

Out of all the magazines that I have subscribed to this magazine is the best for me. Real Simple magazine is what I would call a "well-rounded" magazine for home life. This magazine covers fashion in every sense, from home decor(indoor and outdoor) to clothing and accessories, quick food and drink preparations, entertaining on occasions, affordable items and even... beauty techniques and products. I also like the fact that there is a section about finance and health. My two favorite sections are the "New uses for old things" - where the original purpose of an item is listed and then the what is called an "AHA!" use of the same item gives a new use of purpose and the Real Simple To Go section that has perforated cards with recipes, website addresses and more from the month's issue that can be taken out to keep at hand. This magazine is great for anyone who is simply looking to improve their "home" life.

Real Simple magazine is practical and informative. Every article is about something that everyone could benefit from, whether it's new uses for every day things or cleaning solutions. I've been a subscriber for about 4 years now and although the price for the subscription is pricier than others, I'm still always willing to pay it when my subscription expires. I'm always ripping out and saving articles from this magazine. The layout of the entire magazine is attractive to the eye. It's easy to navigate and isn't too flashy. Their website is fantastic as well. You can make an account on their site to save articles and recipes with so that you don't have to bookmark or print everything that you find useful. The recipe section is fabulous and easy to navigate. I've found so many good, quick, and easy recipes here. If you're into saving money and finding new uses for old things, I'd really recommend this magazine AND website.

I have subscribed to Real Simple for a few years now, and I still enjoy it. There are a few things that annoy me slightly about the magazine, for example, the "steals" section advertised a $50 t-shirt as a "steal"... not in my world it isn't! But other than that, I look for design inspiration, decorating tips, recipes that are easy to understand, etc. I have found that some of the financial tips are things that I wouldn't necessarily think of (we just bought our first house last year, are only 30 years old, etc). Might not be the best tips for someone who's been around for awhile, they might think, "been there, done that," but for my purposes, it's a great read!

Why this is a good magazine subscription:

Nice layout
Excellent source for "new uses for old things"
It's printed on a nice quality paper that is soft to the touch
Modern
Helpful pull-out tips at the end of each issue
Very connected to the readers and issues confronting them.
Great cleaning and organizing tips.

I'm a single twentysomething on a budget who doesn't get to do a lot of decorating nor do I do a lot of cooking. However, I find Real Simple highly entertaining. I don't know if it's because I'm a bit of an organizational freak and Real Simple always has great organizational tips. Or the fact that I am trying to live a more frugal lifestyle so that I can pay off those pesky student loan payments and Real Simple has great tips on how to reuse products to save money. If I can get this much out of it not being a parent or a homemaker, I can only imagine what this could do for you if you are....

Every year I think I'll stop getting Real Simple because I start to see some repeated tips or stories, and then an issue will come out that reveals 10 more helpful ways to make my life simpler, richer or just plain cooler.

I've gotten unique Christmas gifts out of Real Simple, decorated many a room in my home based on the tips, and made tons of the recipes, which are healthy and easy to do. Love it!...

Real Simple is a wonderful magazine! I have 3 children under the age of 12. I am a stay at home mom who works in my kids schools, volunteer, and active in my church. My kids are always involved in activities. My life is very hectic! At night when the kids are in bed, that is my time to lay in bed and savor every page of your magazine. My husband is always hearing the new ideas I have gotten from your magazine. LOL I love the organizing tips especially. With a busy life, moms will definitely get so many tips, ideas, and inspiration from all the many pages of this magazine. I always buy it when I am in line at the grocery store and today I sent in the order form to for one, get an amazing magazine, second you can't beat the savings the magazine offers its subscribers! I give it a 10 out of 10!...

Real Simple magazine is a great place to find ideas and suggestions that fit into any person's life. It is not specifically geared to any one type of individual, such as someone who likes to cook, but rather to everyone with all types of interests. This is the best magazine I have come across in many years and one that I will stay with for many more years to come!...

I love to organize, arrange and just rethink the way things are presently being done. I've read a lot of magazines and articles on the topic, but this one gives me real, practical tips that are fun to implement. A lot of organizing tips just give you more stuff to clutter your mind and house, but this magazine uses tips that actually help. I love it....

This is the best magazine around. Full of wonderful and "simple" (no pun intended) recipes, organizational ideas and home decorating...I just can't get enough! Recently a friend gave me a stack of old issues (dating back to 2006) and I found some of the best darn ideas in there...even 2 years old! If you don't subscribe, I highly recommend it....
