Reader's Digest Magazine.

I received Reader's Digest for 1 year and decided it was not the magazine for me. I did not pay the bill when it renewed so now I am being turned over to collections for $15.98. They sent me 3 issues past the expiration date of my subscription so now they want $15.98 for them. I assumed when I did not pay they would stop sending, that's what other magazines do.Very expensive magazine. I am paying this today (don't want my credit ruined because of such a small amount). How many people do they do this to, good money maker for them.

I am always on the go and most of my reading time is at bedtime or in the bathroom. With Reader's Digest, there is so much information - politics, comedy, entertainment, health, science, and condensed stories. It is amazing that there is so much in such a small package....

Reader's Digest is the only magazine that I can think of that the whole family from about age 7 up can enjoy. It has interesting articles on various topics every month, plus lots of clean humor. When I was in elementary school through high school many years ago, I used it as resource for papers I had to write. My family enjoyed the true funny stories that readers wrote in. (You can earn good money if your submissions are accepted.) We also loved the inspirational stories that shows how good humans and animals can be.

When I got married and raised my own family, we subscribed off and on for many years. My kids would all pick it up off the end table and read it. They mostly loved it for the humor, and would love to be the first one to share a particularly funny submission. (If someone was going to be a long time in the bathroom, that was the usual reading material taken in)

My kids are all out on their own now. I gave my eldest son a gift subscription one year and he told me he not only...

Readers Digest is the best magazine out there. It has the best real life stories than any other magazine. Its size is another great thing about the magazine. It is very compact and easy to carry in your purse to read whenever you have a few spare moments. I love it. I have been a subscriber for many years and will continue to be for many years to come....

I have always enjoyed the Readers Digest. Their different joke pages make me laugh. So many of the short joke storied could happen to anyone. They are funny and down to earth. They always have a good interview with someone in the entertainment field. It gives you a peek into there lives and their heads without being obstrusive. "That's Outrageous" brings to light all the ways we are being cheated or taken advantage of "Legally" They also give a place to find everyday heroes, and their articles educate people in many different things, health and wellness, learning, money secrets, and even ways to fit more things into your house comfortably I have been reading this mag for over 30 years and plan to continue until it is no longer conducive to do so...

This magazine is an excellent choice for those of us who have busy lives. The edited format is such that depending on how much time I have to sit--I can find ither a wonderful true to life story, information on just about anything from dieting and exercising to how to chhose an appliance or burgalar rpoof my home. I especially appreciate the jokes and humorous anecdotes sent in by the readers and find that I can also read a true story sent in by an average person like myself. It helps keep me aware of current affrairs and has artcles that will interest people of many different interests....
