AngelaWLaFon says "Kids love riding Razor scooters & Moms love how they fold up." about Razor Scooter

Razor Scooter

My car seems to always be loaded with some form of fun with wheels for my kids like plasma cars, trikes or bikes. As they are rolling in fun, Mommy will get to walk the track or play tennis, so I am willing to load and unload and rearrange and rearrange these riding toys in my car.

And then came the Razor Scooter!

Razors started showing up at the park and quickly became the main attraction for "sharing." Razors were the Little Debbie cakes that made all the other riding toys seem like the tuna on rye sandwich. Of course my kids wanted their own. They retail around $30.00 and but my husband found a used pair in a Play it Again Sports shop for $11.00 each. Sold!

What I like about the Razor:

The best feature of the Razor to me as a Mom is how it folds up to be not much bigger than an umbrella and is so easy to store in the car.

I also like that it keeps my kids active and moving, moving, moving while letting them work on their balance as well. As I tell then during...
...

My girls both had little Barbie/Bratz scooters that did not fold up. Both broke pretty quickly and were really awkward to carry camping. We picked up two Razor scooters this year and they are wonderful. They fold up easily and seem really durable. They are perfect for camping or for park play dates when space is an issue.
...

searchshopper says "perfect outdoor toy" about Razor Scooter

This razor scooter is so great for kids of all ages! I do recamend a helmet and safety pads for elbows and knees as a regular safety precaution, but I don't think this scooter is any more dangerous than any other rolling toy.

My son was 4 when he got it and within one year, he is doing crazy scary tricks on it. It makes me feel better that he has something to hold onto with his hands, rather than just a skateboard for such a young child.

This is a durable starter toy and also fun for the adults (that aren't too heavy for it)

Be warned that if you hit the breaks too hard the wheel will scratch the pavement as it skids to a stop and some of the wheel may be lost in the skid. (happend to a friend of ours) Just like th wearing away of an eraser- but with regular to rough use it still hold up very well!

I would highly recamend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...

I bought my son a Razor Scooter about 5 years ago. This is the non-motorized version. It took him about a day to get the hang of it and he hasn't stopped riding it since.

He and his friends can be found scooting up and down the streets all year long. He is now able to do tricks and stunts with his scooter.

I have not had to replace this scooter because of it's durability. Aside from a little rust , it is in excellent shape. It really has taken the beating he's given it and he still loves to ride.

I am so happy that he is out there getting exercise on his scooter and he loves it too!
...

aferictam says "over priced" about Razor Scooter

Tonight I went to kmart to shop quickly for my daughter's birthday. I spent over an hour tracking down decent gifts in sporting goods and toys. Kmart was supposed to have 20% off all scooter including this one. The Sign at the store clearly read $29.99 razor scooter w/wheel bar. When the associate scannned the scooter it rang up at $39.99 which didn't reflect the sale or the correct price. They (manager& associate) refused to match the displayed price, so I went to Walmart and found every thing I needed for less. Just imagine not only did I not purchase the scooter from kmart, I also returned the in-line skates because I found a similar product on clearance at Walmart for $10 a pair (bought 2) which actually scanned for $7 at the register. You can get this scooter at Walmart for less....

These razor scooters have become a huge hit and are very fun for all ages. I personally own one and they can be ridden anywhere. They are a great family activity or even just a great way for transportation. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys outdoor activities....

cor-lynn says "Awsome for almost any age" about Razor Scooter

My husband and I bought this for our barely 5 year old son for Christmas. It didn't take long for him to get his balance on it and he loves it. He rides it up and down the sidewalk and on our back porch. He always wants to take it with him other places. He still rides his bike sometimes because he says the scooter tires him out more, but he really enjoys it. We haven't had it long, but so far it seems very durable and long lasting. Now my 2 year old is trying to ride it and actually not doing too bad of a job. The only negative is it doesn't seem too easy for him to stop, there is a brake on the back, but it is easier for him just to simply put his feet on the ground and stop. As a whole, I love this scooter, and it was very inexpensive for how much use he gets out of it....

My daughter learned to ride a scooter on one of these. There have been some bad falls but as long as she has on a helmet there have been no lasting problems. She's a big daredevil and screams down the driveway and around the bends. All she can always say is can I go out and ride my scooter? I think thank goodness for a toy that she loves that also gets her outside and exercising. It's hard to find that these days....

Growing up when I did (just before the discovery of color), a common rite of passage was building your first scooter with your dad. A wooden milk crate, a plank and an old skate was what you needed. A hammer and nails, maybe some handles fashioned out of wood and a splash of paint and you were set. You got your first dose of independence and mobility.

These days, milk crates are usually plastic and when was the last time you saw skates that clamped to your shoes, huh?

But these days we have the Razor Scooter. Okay, so you don't get to build it with your dad, it is still way cool!

Light-weight and shiny it glides so effortlessly around the cul de sac.

When we bought our daughter, Jenna her Razor, it was an awful lot of fun teaching her how to use it. It's a surprisingly strong little platform because I probably used it as much as she did that first day.

When you're finished using it for the day, the handle can be folded toward the platform so it takes little space in the garage or...
...

(Kids FORGET that WE were kids!!) Really fun!...

The Razr Scooter is a fun product that will have your kids flying down the hill in no time! The only downfall of the Razr Scooter is the fact that the foam has fallen off the handlebars at least twice in the past year we've owned ours. But, the kids don't seem to mind and enjoy hours and hours on their scooters! Love the price!...

This is an awesome ride! Gave it to my son this morning for his birthday and he loves it! Don't forget to have them wear a helmet when you take it out for a ride. The one with three wheels is great and litewieght too. And has a fuller base than the two-wheel scooter. Perfect for 3 and 4 year olds who are just learning to ride. And easy to take to the park or ride around the block. LOVE IT! They are sold at Target and online. Easy to assemble. About $30....
