I recently got a Rainbow and love it. Notice a huge difference in the dust control and cleanliness of the house overall. I even cleaned all my bedding and pillows with the huge plastic bag provided. Just empty dirty water in the toilet and that's it. The air purifier keeps my dust down (live on dirt road) by 90%. LOVE IT.

I love my new Rainbow vac. My friend had one her mother gave her so it was probably a good 50 years old and it still works. I finally feel like I have cleaned my carpet, not just moved the dirt around. I can't wait to get all the attachments. I have a new grand daughter (my first) and it's important to me to have the carpet clean and have as little dust and allergen in the air. In today's economy cost is a factor, but when it's guaranteed for 20 year, there simply wasn't a choice. I simply love it.

My daughter and son-in law listened to the presentation and have decided to sell the product. It's a great company and the extra dollars are a plus. If someone is looking for a job I'd recommend it.

It was the most amazing thing ever when an individual came over and showed me the rainbow. He even took a red koolaid stain out of my carpet.I wouldn't recommend any other Vaccum or should I say Air Purifier!

I have had a Rainbow E2 since Sept. 07. It has taken my house from germ haven to safe haven. I have COPD and my wife has bad allergies. Without the Rainbow running 24 hours a day we would be miserable.

I thought emptying the water would be a drag but I soon found it was a luxury to see all the debris and contaminates leaving as I dumped it out. I also found it difficult to do the stairs until I recieved the 14 foot hose. What a miracle that was.

The worst thing of the Rainbow is I wish I would have heard of it sooner and that it isn't marketed well.

Rainbow changed my life for the better. I was getting a sore back and serious bouts of depression because I tried so hard to clean house with mop and regular vacuum and was never satisfied with the results. I could not get the pet hair out of corners or the grit out of the grout lines in the tile. Carpet spots were driving me crazy. Then I got a call from a the Rainbow lady. Halfway through her demo I was ready to buy. That was over a year ago and I have been so much happier because now when I work to clean, I get results. Yes the machine has a couple of things I would change as far as convenience, but it does so many cleaning jobs so well, I am willing to forgive its shortcomings. I really want to buy one for my mother and my sister, if only I had the money or could find a good refurbished one.

If clean is what you want, you want a Rainbow.

We purchased our Rainbow vacuum 10 yrs. ago and almost immediately it started to have problems. At first they (the Rainbow salesperson) fixed the vacuum with no charge, but as the years went on and the problems got bigger the charge was as much as a "regular" vacuum.
Now I know things do not last forever, and we live in a throw away society, but come on....hoses coming off, cheap plastic holding a 1500.00 machine together, brushes that come off . If I had spend 100.00, even 500.00, I would expect the thing to fall apart , but like I said....1500.00.
My parents had a Rainbow when I was a kid, so I did not hesitate to buy one, even for that much money, but they never had these problems, and we (us kids) played with it, and abused it, which my children do not!
This vacuum does do a great job, but when it keeps falling apart....not worth it.
Save your money, buy a Hoover.

I've been a Rainbow user since 1988, starting with a refurbished model, and totally amazed at how well it picked up the deeper dirt from the carpets of rental units. Finally purchased my very own new unit with all attachments and shampooer and couldn't believe how much cleaner my carpets looked after being really vacuumed by such an excellent system. When all kids were out of the house and we downsized, I splurged and purchased a new Series E Rainbow Cleaning System and even though I take what it can do for granted, my appreciation for Rainbow's quality product is still intact.

I've always had inside animals, cats and/or dogs, and over the years have had guests or children with allergies to animals, but with the Rainbow System, they have been able to visit or stay in our home with no side effects!!

I am also a great fan of the cleaning products sold by Rainbow and try to keep those on hand. There is nothing like having your house purified by one of the Rainbow products while you...

Nothing gets dog hair out of your home like a Rainbow. As the owner of a Samoyed, I DO know dog hair. This is the only vacuum I have ever found that truly makes cleaning up dog hair a breeze. I have tried uprights, but have never found one that cleaned nearly as well. It may be easier to clean with an upright as compared to a canister vac, but are you looking for easy or clean?

I also love the fresh air (like after a rain) smell you get after you have vacuumed with your Rainbow. You can add additional aromas to the water basin if you choose, but I find it really isn't necessary.

The Rainbow Cleaning System is unsurpassed in it's ability to clean. Not only does it remove the dirt - permanently, but cleans the air! I would not have any other kind of "vacuum" in my home. I believe in this machine so much that I have started a cleaning business with it! Beware, of hiring outside cleaning services that carry their "GDC" Germ Distribution Centers with them from job to job! These "dust buckets" are harbingers of germs and disease! They carry these pestilences from home to home!

My family uses a 15 yr old Rainbow SE, not the current model.

My Great Aunt had an ancient Rainbow back in the 60's. She passed away in the mid 70's, but another family member still uses that old Rainbow and it works perfectly.

15 years ago, we moved into our brand new house. Within 3 months, I was convinced our builder had used cheap carpet that already needed to be replaced. Just by chance, I had dropped my name off at the Rainbow display at a local home show, and when the salesman called, we invited him over. I vacuumed my carpet 3 times before he arrived, and I was horrified when I saw what else he was able to pick up with this amazing machine. I didn't let him leave with it!

After 15 years, with reasonable and regular maintainence, our Rainbow SE is still the ONE. We have used it to shampoo carpets, clean stairs, freshen the air in the house, and even used it to clean up a rental house. Many of our friends borrow it for similar purposes. Oh, and that carpet that needed......

Over twenty years ago I purchased my first Rainbow Cleaning System. At that time I purchased it for the allergies in our family. As my original Rainbow Cleaning System got older, I gave it to a friend. Of course, I purchased a second one. If it is good enough for me to purchase a second time, it has got to be good. I love it as it has handy attachments, and the powerful suction cleans wonderfully. I have used it for the purpose of dusting, to vacuuming pets, to usual vacuuming. The clear basin allows you to see when to change the water and know that it is picking up the dirt. Being on wheels cancels out the weight problem of the water, making it handy to dispose of dirty water....

The Rainbow has been the only vaccuum I've needed for cleaning floors, walls and even dusting. I bought my first one in 1977 and it performed well for over 10 years. So well that when I needed a new one, there was no hesitation, I bought a new Rainbow. I am now using my third and will definitely buy another if this one ever wears out. There is no comparison to the cleaning ability and air cleansing features of the Rainbow....

I have owned a succession of vaccum cleaners over the years. I've messed with searching high and low for bags, unclogging hoses, and worrying whether or not the silly thing is actually picking up the dirt! The Rainbow is bagless, I have never had anything get stuck in the hoses and it picks up so much dirt it's amazing!!

Rather than spend $200-$500 on vaccums every 2-3 years making an investment in one good vaccum that requires minimal upkeep and is totally reliable makes sense!!

I love our Rainbow vac! It's just amazing what all this thing finds to pick up! With pets indoors, shedding hair doesn't have a chance... you can even vacuum the dogs! ( not brave enough to try it on the CAT, tho!)

Once grit or dirt or hair hit the water.. it's there! it's almost embarrassing what comes from just the usual cleaning.. I love the attachments used to vacuum carpeting.. since I have no carpet, we use it for spring cleaning the mattresses on the beds.. This was the best investment in cleaning in all my life...

I do wish there were a smaller, lighter version that cleans as well... but I'll bet that's in the making, already..
