Raid Ant and Roach Spray did the job for me when ants invaded my garage this summer. You will use the can up rather quickly but it does work great. Try not to overspray since a little will do the trick.
Spray directly on the pests if possible and around the area they appear to be coming in. Repeat this process the next day or if the area gets wet. In my situation the ants were gone the next day and have not reappeared since. It kills on contact and seems to keep the ants from wandering into the sprayed area....

litehouselady-pk64 says "It definately kills the bugs that s for sure!" about Raid Ant & Roach Spray

this is a good product But Raid works best up close, and not too good for distance. it is a good value for the money (and even better on sale). But it is messy to clean up and the smell is bad and ligers too long. the fragrant one is worse. The best one is the one with the roach egg killer, that kills the eggs in the pregnant ones as well even after she lays the eggs. It is easy to use especially the one with the tube extender but that can get messy too. Be Carefull around any type of pet as it can cause seriouse respertory infections and even death....

we had a horrible roach infestation when we moved into a rental house (thanks, previous tenants!). the raid ant and roach spray worked great to kill the roaches on contact--it was instant death, and very gratifying, but didn't really seem to deter them from returning to the same areas.
didn't have a strong or offensive odor, easy to use.
keep this away from pets, food, and eating areas (hard to do in a kitchen!).
...

We always have a can of Raid Ant & Roach Spray under the sink. Every time it rains, our kitchen is invaded by ants!!!!

When we lived in apartments, we were always getting visited by our neighbors' roaches. We also sprayed the baseboard along the walls that we shared with the other apartments and it seemed to reduce the number of bugs that we did see.

Since I have asthma, the scent of Raid doesn't seem to make breathing impossible when using it.
...

What I said in my one sentence is a warning to all the pet lovers out there. These pesticides, for the most part, work very well. However, you must use caution in where you use them if you have pets that go outside as they can be deadly to them also. Even indoors, be careful where you put pesticides and move the dog food and water when applying any of them.

We have a very bad problem with roaches ~ never can seem to rid ourselves of them. If anyone out there has any hints as to what we can do to help....please let me know. The pesticides work well ~ for a while, but not as long as you would think that they would. We need something that works in the long term.
...

I've tried a number of ant sprays and find this one of the easiest and most effective ones to use. It is also a good cost bargain. You can usually find a can of Raid in my upper cabinet ready for use as needed. I also find I need to keep some extras around as my daughters, who are in their early 20's, find ants in their homes and must have something to "kill the ants RIGHT NOW" and come to my house to grab a can of spray. Hey, I like to be a helpful mom....

RAID! yes this stuff is the best. i have tried so many products that say kills bugs on contact! HMMM when after 5 hours of them walking around? with raid you can bet as soon as you spray the bugs are laid out on their backs. i love raid. wouldnt use anything elese to get rid of those pesky little pests. i swear by raid 100 percent. i have wrote raid numerous times telling them how great i think raid is. yeah it cost a few cents more then other brands but like the oldsaying is you get what you pay for. i prefer to spend the 50 cents more to know i am going to be bug free. so to all of you out there that havent used raid i suggest you go and get a can and see how well raid works. gaurantee you wont buy nothing elese....

Our house can have a major problem with ants especially in the kitchen and bathroom. They probably like those areas because it is close to water plus there is no carpet in those rooms. The ants are small and black. They're harmless, but their numbers are many, and they get all over everything. This is where Raid ant and roach spray comes in. My father usually sprays, but sometimes I get hold of the can and go crazy. I'm a crazed bug assassin on a mission. The big can feels good in my hand as I press the nozzle. It even smells better than bug spray used to. It has country-fresh scent which the ants probably don't appreciate. The foam the can shoots out is a little messy, but I can deal with that. This cowgirl just puts the can back in her holster and waits for the next ant to come to town.
...

Annamarie says "An ant and roach spray that's worth spending a little extra for." about Raid Ant & Roach Spray

There was a time when we didn't suffer the agony of roaches and ants, but when we moved from our first apartment in El Cajon, into another apartment in the same complex, we were bombarded by roaches thanks to our next door neighbours.

I never really learned what to use, but I saw plenty of options in the store, but most didnt work. So I put out a little extra money and bought the major brand...Raid.

I was really surprised at how well it works. I tried the Raid professional strength roach spray, and it didnt seem to work as well. Sure it had the nice spray nozzle, but the regular raid worked great, and i wasnt paying 3 dollars more for a spray nozzle.

I buy this stuff even now...we dont have as bad of a problem since we moved, I mean you never totally get rid of the problem unless you fumigate, but in an apartment complex, thats not likely to happen. This stuff is the next best thing! I highly recommend it!...

Raid pest control products are among the best- known manufactured goods of their type and among the different Raid products, the one that gets the most advertising exposure and the one that most people will recognize instantly is the aerosol spray bottle. And of the spray bottle products, the one most frequently purchased is Raid Ant & Roach Killer, a powerful, toxic spray that stops bugs dead in their tracks.

Pest Control Commentary:

Raid Ant & Roach Killer is an effective way to kill bugs instantly and to help prevent some of them from returning to your home. I keep a bottle of this under my kitchen sink at all times to kill bugs when I see them and to spray in areas where I think they might be entering my home.

This product is powerful and once bugs are sprayed, they croak instantly. There is no escaping the affects of Raid. It knocks the creepy crawlers out cold, with no chance to survive. I use this mostly to control ants but now that I live in a warmer climate, there are other insect...
...
