It was comforting knowing my mother was in the kitchen making breakfast for us kids before were shooed out the door to wait in the cold wintry morning for the school bus. As me and my brothers would get on the bus.
How can you go wrong with the wholesome goodness of Quaker? It's classically delicious, dependable in it's quality, and so good for you. When I was pregnant, my doctor insisted that I stop eating instant oatmeal, and switch to Old Fashioned oats. Of course I turned to the Quaker.

One wonderful way I've found to eat Quaker Oatmeal is to add in diced apples while it's cooking, and some cinnamon. So comforting and delicious, and much better than instant. Even my little one-year-old loves it this way!

It also bakes beautifully into Oatmeal Cookies - make sure to cream your wet ingredients first!
...

Healthy. No sugar. No chemicals. Cheaper that those tiny instant packets that are mostly filled with air and additives. Excellent way to loose weight. Feel free to add your own dried fruit or fresh fruit for extra flavor. Perfect for the entire family. I like to add in some crushed walnuts. Sometimes you can't mess with the basics. Quaker Oats has stood the test of time. A high quality product with basic ingredients. I feel healthier and more energetic. My entire family enjoys Quaker Oats. For breakfast or event as a comfort food type snack. Stock up on several containers....

When I was younger, I really liked the instant packets of Quacker oatmeal that have different flavors not to mention a ton of sugar. Now and then I still like to eat those, but not to long ago I decided to try eating the real stuff. At first I wasn't too sure, but I have to say I now really like it. It fills me up in the morning, and it's always nice to hold a bowl of something warm. I add a fruit to it, like a banana or apple. Plus I know that I'm eating something healthy. Great stuff!...

I remember when my mother used to make oatmeal when I was a kid and I still continue to eat oatmeal in the mornings, just to add a bit of butter, milk and sugar and I love the taste. It's healthy and good for you and you get the fiber that you need. You can always add the oatmeal and make cookies :) which I do every once in a while, a very good healthy snack as well. I recommend oatmeal to anyone who is watching their diet, it's affordable and always good to have on hand....

I grew up on Quaker Oats and still remember when my Mother used to fix it over an old wooburning stove. Fortunately, it's much easier to fix these days and the taste is still just as great as ever and is still good for you. I have it at least 3 times a week and my daughter has followed in my footsteps. The store brand is cheaper and I have tried it, out of curiosity, but it just isn't the same as Quaker, so I know that's the one I will always stick with. It has plenty of fiber and fills you up and you decide just how much sugar (if any) you want to add, not the way the processed packages are done for you with the sugar already added as well as flavoring....
