I enjoy Purina Pro Plan. The consistency is great, and it is packed with vitamins and minerals. My dog also loves the taste. My dog has more energy when eating this food. I used to have to worry about her getting enough. My dog's coat has also improved. She no longer has dry skin. Her body also doesn't get disrupted by this food. The price of the food is also reasonable. Considering it is a higher range food. I have found this at many stores. There are also coupons available in the newspaper for it. I hope that Purina continues to make this food. I will keep on buying it as long as they have it. It took me a long time to find a food that my pet liked, but was also good for it. My pet suffers from allergies and needs a food that is good for it. As my pet gets older, they will continue to need to have food that that is healthy for it. Go and buy your pet a bag of it. They will love you.

I switched my two spaniels to Purina Pro Plan (Selects Turkey and Barley formula) after they were having problems with another food. They transitioned smoothly to the new food and they're both doing great on this food. Their coats are shiny and because there is less filler there's less to clean up in the backyard!

I have been a mommy to three wonderful dogs (a mixed breed, golden, and now a basset hound) and have always wanted to give the best to my dogs while still being on a tight budget. Through my dog owner experiences, I have found that the saying "you are what you eat" is especially true for dogs. My first dog was my childhood pet and he ate what we ate. He also had constant stomach troubles (beware of shooting poop) and weight issues as he got older. When I decided to own my first dog as an adult, I made the decision to go with Purina Pro Plan for puppies (and later on adults). I love this dog food and both of my dogs love it as well.

In over eight years with Pro Plan food, neither of my dogs has had a single upset tummy. Not once. I can only believe that this is because of the high quality ingredients in Pro Plan. Also, my basset has to stay at a certain weight due to her bone structure and she has had no problems staying the same weight for two years now. I feed her the...

My Golden is 2 years old, and we started out on Puppy Chow. However, as I researched more, I was told that Puppy chow has too much sugar, and isnt too good for your dog - So I tried Purina One, Iams, Beneful, Science Diet.. You name it! But my dog hated it! She would nt touch it unless I added water and heated it up, or unless I mixed it with some real chicken or wet dog food. I almost gave up on Dry dog food for her until I tried Pro plan. It is the only food that she will eat without fussing over! SHe eats it alone without adding anything.I am not quite sure why she is such a fussy eater. but maybe its because she is the only dog in the house and quite pampered!! Purina Pro Plan is quite pricey compared to other dog foods, but since we love our dog... it doesnt seem too much to give her what she likes.Pro plan is supposed to be the top of the line dog food in the Purina Family. The cheaper brands seem to contain more sugar than good for the dog - like dog chow and kibbles...

Purina Proplan has been wonderful for my dogs. I have a 2 year old doberman mix named Nova. She has been on Proplan since I brought her home at 12 weeks. Started her on Large breed puppy. now she is on large breed adult. She has the most beautiful coat I have ever seen on any dobie. My 7 year old cocker named tootsie used to be on Iams but when I started the puppy on Proplan i switched her over too. She is on the senior she has done great on it also. Same as everyone else I wish coupons were more available. But I also stock up when it goes on sale. Thanks for a great product. edie...

We've fed our mixed breed Weimaraner Purina Pro Plan since getting our pup from a Midwest Rescue shelter. We typically rotate between beef, lamb and chicken to give our now 2 year old dog a variety. She's playful and energetic as ever, and she's fit as can be. I see no reason to switch to another brand....

My pug recently had her first litter and wasn't wanting her normal food, so after some research we came across the Purina Pro Plan brand. It offered the all the things a new mother needs to feed her puppies. She immeadiately had more energy. I am definitely hooked and will continue to feed her and her puppies Purina Pro Plan. Not to mention recommend it to everyone I know!!!...

Very little stool. Digestion is high. Dogs have a great dial of energy especially working or sproting dogs. Coat is beautiful and weight does not become an issue. Also the dogs love it. Great weight circle program, Go th the Purina website. Have five English Pointers and cannot tell you how good it is. Easy to get coupons for. Check e-bay...

I have a year and a half old golden retriever. He is our best friend! When he came home to us he was already on a specific diet. Our vet recommended not changing it because it could upset his stomach. After a couple of months we noticed he had very dry skin and was developing small bumps. The vet checked his skin and said he didn't have any skin diseases. He recommended a change in diet and suggested we switch to Pro Plan Sensitive Skin with Salmon. He suspected an allergy to beef. We made the change and within a week his skin issues began clearing up. The change in diet was unbelievable; his coat was glossy, his shedding decreased and the bumps disappeared. The food is quite pricey and coupons are very hard to find. But if you check for sales at Petsmart and stock up when it's on sale you can save a bundle. The food is worth every penny spent!...

Purina Pro Plan has a range of "flavors" that are quite varied in their nutrition. The Chicken and Brown Rice variety was highly rated by nutritionist (on the web). The first ingredient is chicken. Also for me it helps that my finicky dog likes it. He wouldn't eat many dry foods and I find canned way too smelly....

We feed Purina Pro Plan Performance for our sporting dog. The quality of the product and the results we get are phenomenal. We especially like the quality control that Purina enforces and their concern for the sporting community.

My two 1-year old lab mixes love the Purina Pro Plan Chicken and Rice formula. It is one of the only dog foods that I've found where real chicken is the first ingredient. I feel good feeding it to them, because I know they are getting a good, healthy food that they love! Our vet and pet trainer recommended this brand to us, and I recommend it to all my dog-owner friends....

i tried pro plan for my dog about a year ago. i switched because someone gave me free coupons, withing 2 days when my dog went to the bathroom i noticed she dumped more than she usually did on her regular food. 2 weeks later, her fur wasnt as healthy looking, so i switched back again slowly and got rid of the coupons i had left, i would rather pay for the food than give her pro plan....
