Purina Brand Purina Indoor Cat Chow is a wonderful brand of cat food. My two feline companions choose to be picky and after trying several brands this one was the pick of the litter. They eat it every day and ive noticed a change in their coats and overall vitality for playing. I suggest this for people who have picky eaters and have indoor feline friends.

Ifound out the hard way that dry food in any form is making our cats sick. Study up on how dry food is made no matter how "natural" there is nothing natural about it. This food contains so many things that a cat would never eat if we didn't give it to them. Cats are pure carnivores not omnivores like we are. They would never eat fruits, vegetables, or grains. When have you ever seen any of the cats in a zoo eating fruits and vegetables? I did not know any of this and my cat developed diabetes feeding a "high quality" dry food.Please do research on what a cat should eat.

Purina Cat Chow Indoor Formula is the only dry cat food I feed my cat, Pumpkin. When I adopted Pumpkin he was a very sick kitty with many health issues. He had that nasty feline virus, blisters all over the inside of his mouth, was underweight, and was terrified of people, just to name a few. Because Pumpkin was underweight, the vet put him on one of those VERY expensive top of the line cat foods. Okay, so I spent a fortune because the vet said the overpriced food would be the best for Pumpkin's nutritional needs. The only problem was that Pumpkin did not like the taste, and, much to my dismay, threw up that very expensive cat food within minutes of attempting to choke it down. After spending more money than I'd care to admit on several "top of the line" dry cat foods, I decided to try something a little less costly. I am the proud mother of 4 cats ranging in age from seven months to four years. They are all inside cats - not purebred, but every bit as precious. I try to take good care of them because they are very important to me. The oldest was an abandoned kitten that my son found under a house, the second was rescued by my oldest grandaughter, and the last two were littermates given to me by a dying friend who needed to find good homes for her kittens.

When I got the first cat, almost four years ago, the vet told me to provide dry cat food and plenty of water. He did not recommend a specific brand. Since my income is somewhat limited, I have not purchased premium brands of cat food but I do try to provide food that my cats enjoy that is also nutritious. To save money, I have occasionally purchasd store brand or generic catfood, but I immediagtely noticed that my cats were not especially imressed with my bargains.

I have used Purina Indoor Cat Chow for many years. My cats are indoor only and never go outside. i have many friends and family with cats and I can honestly say none of their cats have fur soft as my cats do. Purina Indoor Cat Chow gives my girls(cats) very soft and shiny fur. Their fur never feels dirty or dry and they never have dandruff and don't itch. I have tried several other brands of cat food and I have found none of them compare to the quality of Purina Indoor Cat Chow and my cats love it. My girls won't eat other hard foods and they always tease me for more Purina Indoor Cat Chow. I would recommend this product to anyone with indoor cats or outdoor cats. I used to think this was good food. But then I learned that you get what you pay for. Although Purina has been around for a long time, after reading "Your Cat" by Elizabeth Hodgekins, I can no longer agree that dry food is the best, and especially not the grocery store brands. This food has corn meal as a main or second ingredient. Cats are carnivors and if left to their own devices, would only eat 3-7% of their diet as carbs. And that 3-7% would mostly be from the stomach of their prey. So where is the meat in Cat Chow? Poultry By-Product (from their website) While I'm not a no by product finatic, I don't think all the meat my cat gets should be from by products. I'd prefer none, thank you. Then there is meat and bone meal. What meat? From cows? Chickens? Rabbits? I don't like the non identified meat source. I know people who say, "My cat lived on this for years and is fine." Having a mutiple cat home it's hard to find a food that is good for all my cats. Purina Cat Chow Indoor Formula is it. My cats range from 6 yrs to a few months old and even a female with new born kittens under 2 weeks and they all love it. I was having issues with my cats and other cat foods I had tried and nothing sovled any of those issues I was having with hairballs and smelly litter boxes. I switched to the indoor formula to see if it would help with the odor problems with my oldest cat since canned food just seemed to make matters worse for everyone and most of the other dry brands I had tried the dye in the food was causing stomach trouble for one or two of my other cats. I can say that I was amazed at the improvement after just one bag the hair ball problem is gone - other than the occasional cat fight., and the stomach issues are a thing of the past. I have an inside cat who throws up all the time! I used to buy the most expensive food I could find that was sold to me as something she wouldn't toss up...it was supposed to be all natural, no grains, that sort of thing. She would throw this expensive food up constantly. I was very pleased when I switched to the Purina Cat Chow Indoor Formula cat food. My cat seems to really like the taste and she throws up much less often. Whatever the ingredients are in this cat food, they are very beneficial. I now also feed it to my ourside cats. The hairball problem in all four of my cats has been virtually eliminated. My littlle bulemic cat even gained some weight! I think we spend way too much money trying to buy the "best" food for our pets when companies like Purina have spent millions on research to offer us the best food at reasonable prices. No more 15 dollar food for a small bag in this house. Purina Cat Chow Indoor Formula is by far the best innovation in cat food...

Purina Purina Cat Chow for indoor cats is the only cat food I have ever been able to get all 4 of my somewhat over opininionated cats to agree on at the same time. When I open the barrel I keep the Cat Food in they trample right over the top of me getting to the cat dish.

It makes me feel good knowing that not only are they happier cats. but healthier cats too. Purina Purina Cat Chow for indoor cats is it the perfect blend of vitamins, minerals and other stuff that your cat needs to stay happy and healthy,

I buy it while doing my other shopping so it save me a little money that way, Since I buy all the cat food at one time the larger bags are the ones to go for.

Purina Cat Chow indoor formula is a match for my cat. Onyx was rescued by someone who found him eating out of a dumpster. He came to live with us after this person, due to extenuating circumstances, found out she could not keep him.

As a dumpster diver he was not picky concerning what he ate. Once he came to live with us he found that eating Purina Cat Chow indoor formula was preferable to eating someone else's leftovers.

My cat enjoys eating this product and it shows. Due to the fact that he is declawed he can not be allowed to roam the streets. My main concern then was to find a product that would be nutritious and meet his health needs.

Purina Cat Chow indoor formula does just that, meeting his health needs. This product is easy to find and reasonably priced. Walmart seems to have the best price. Occasionally our Kroger has it on sale and with a coupon the price is even better than Walmart.

I would definitely recommend this product to those of you that have an indoor...
