When we first got our pug odie we had to find the perfect nutrition puppy food that wouldnt upset his belly. Purina puppy chow worked wounderful he loved the taste too, seemed like he couldnt get enough. lol. I highly recomend this to any one that will be adding a new member to there family ! Good Luck!

This is the best product I have found for puppies. It is great for weaning, just add a small amount of water. The small morsels make it easier for your puppy to chew and adjust to eating dry foods. I have not had any problem with my puppy getting sick in the weaning processes. It is even great for when they are sick, add chicken broth and rice to help settle their stomachs. Easy to read quanity guide on the back of every bag, which is very helpful with a growing puppy. Also there are a variety of formulas, even for large breeds. I have also found that the Purina brand has made it easy to upgrade dogs from the puppy food to adult food. I would recommend this product to anyone getting or who has a puppy. It is easy on the stomach and great for them. It has great ingredients and all the health nutrients a growing dog needs at an affordable price. There may be better products out there, but the price puts it over the top.

Purina Puppy Chow is great, I have 2 maltese dogs. Buddy is 2 yrs. old & Tink is 6 months old. I used to feed them kibbles n bits but, I noticed that they always left food in the bottom of the bowl and, the skinny long pieces of food they were taking out and laying beside the dog bowl and, neither one of them would eat it.

Purina Puppy Chow has 27% crude Protein, 150 mg Iron, Contains DHA, a nutrient important for healthy brain and vision development.

Since I have been feeding them Purina Puppy Chow they always have an empty bowl.

I feel that by feeding them the Purina Puppy Chow, I am giving them nutritional food that I can depend on. I love my dogs & I feel that they are a part of my family. They depend on me for the nutrition that they need.

We started our dog on science diet, but the price was way too high for our budget. So, we had to find something else to switch too. We decided to go with Purina Puppy Chow. We slowly adjusted our dog to this new food (I would recommend making this process slow, if you don't then you will have a pain cleaning up the dogs stool). The dog eventually adjusted to it. He likes his food. One suggestion to give fellow readers. Do not listen to what the bag reads on the back- it is deceptive. We were giving our dog way too much food at first because the bag said he needed that much for his weight and age. But our dog was not finishing food or would eat it over a long span of time. When we went to the vet the vet noticed that our puppy was getting a little chubby. When we explained to our vet about the food. The vet explained that the requirements on the back our for dogs who have not been neutered or spayed (which require more food). Now, our dog eats less portions. But he eats up his food right...

Purina Puppy Chow, excellent puppy food for the puppy. Likei have said, I am a Jack Russell breeder, This is the only puppy chow i eed them, they have no problem digesting it, They enjoy it, keeps em full, The grow great, fur nice and thick, I buy a big bag and give free samples to my puppy buyers. They have no problem feeding the pups this. Plus they won't get diareaha in return. You can get a great buy at Walmart on this.

Purina Puppy Chow is a good, healthy, and affordable food for my puppy. When I bring that new bag home and rip open the string on the top of the bag, my puppy always knocks the bag over, making me spill it everywhere. He just can't wait to get some. Purina Puppy Chow is make from nutritious ingredients that my puppy loves! We used to buy the smaller bag, but my labrador needs the larger bags now. We will be moving up to Purina Dog Chow soon, but right now he loves the Puppy Chow. I appreciate that the Dog Chow is affordable too. I am on a limited income, so there is only so much money that I can spend on my puppy. Purina makes it easy to stay within my budget. Their products are always on sale at our local store, and often times I use coupons to save a dollar or two here and there, which helps tremendously. I would recommend Purina Puppy Chow to anyone who has a puppy. The Purina family of foods is a great one to use!

I HAVE BEEN USING PURINA PUPPY CHOW FOR MY 2 HUSKIES EVER SINCE WE BOUGHT THEM, 1 IS A YEAR OLD, AND THE OTHER IS 2 YEARS OLD, AND THEY STILL LOVE IT. IT KEEPS THEM HEALTHY, THEY HAVE NICE FUR, AND ARE FILLING IN TO THEIR SKIN NICELEY. I HONESTLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND SPENDING INSANE AMOUNTS OF MONEY ON SPECIAL BRANDED PET FOOD, UNLESS YOU ARE MADE OF MONEY AND CAN AFFORD IT. I KNOW WE CAN'T. SOMETIMES YOU CAN GO TO TARGET AND BUY TWO BAGS OF PUPPY CHOW, EARNING A 5 DOLLAR TARGET GIFT CARD. OF COURSE THERE ARE DECENT SALES ON IT AT GROCERY STORES AS WELL.

ANYWAY, MY DOGS SEEM TO HAVE REGULAR POOPS. I'VE HEARD THAT IT IS BEST TO MIX CANNED FOOD WOTH DRY FOOD, HOWEVER WE DON'T DO THAT BECAUSE IT CAN BE EXPENSIVE. ALSO WE FOUND THAT THE CANNED FOOD M,ADE THEIR POOP RUNNY. THE HARD DRY FOOD IS GOOD FOR THE TEETH ANYWAYS!

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE WHO LOVES DOGS, BUT DOESN'T HAVE INSANE AMOUNTS OF MOOLA TO SPEND ON THEIR PETS!

Go to dogfoodanalysis.com and see just how poor this food is. Trust me, if you do your research and actually read and understand what "by-product" means, and how bad wheat and gluten and corn are for animals, you will know why i say this food is about as nutritional as cardboard....

I had been searching for a dog food for my aged Pekignese dog to help him put on a little weight . So, I was told to try puppy food and I thought of Purina because we used this as a puppy for all of our dogs. Decided to go back to it and it has worked good for our aged dogs. Purina Puppy Chow is great for putting on a little weight when dogs get older and lose a little weight and need some protein. I think I would recommend this to friends and family for not only puppies but also other dogs that need some help. A great product and great protein and price also.

It is a little tough and dry, but just add water to it, and the puppy will love it! They will eventually eat it without the water. Available almost everywhere which when traveling can be very helpful. It is good for any size puppy, my rotty and my boston terrier both started out with puppy chow....

I have personally used Purina products for my cat and dog. I love purina they are a great brand of food and its the only thing my animals will eat. Purina Puppy Chow Dry Food is my first choice with a new puppy. It is recommended by my vet. It also was less likely to cause loose stools than other brands that I have tried in the past. It also was less expensive and more readily available at multiple stores than a lot of other brands. I was given Eukanuba by the breeder with my last dog and noticed that her stools were very loose, even runny. I tried Iams with no different results. When I spoke with my vet, her suggested Purina puppy chow because it is a good product and is also a lot less expensive than the other national brands.

After I switched my puppy to the Purina puppy chow, she seemed to like the new food better, as well as have fewer digestive upsets. I loved the convenience of being able to find her food at the grocery store and stores like Walmart and Kmart instead of having to drive to the pet store.

My mother has had the same type of experiences with her puppy. We have both had happier and very healthy puppies...

All of my extended family's dogs go for this standard in dog food. This is one of the most consistent dog foods that all 3 breeds will eat. It is easy for them to digest, keeps them regular, they like the flavors/textures, doesn't make them gassy, etc. Puppy food works for the puppy through the 5 year old best of all dry dog foods they eat....
