I tried this food on the 30 day challenge and I have a German Shepherd and she never bad any skin issues but after using it for a few days she started itching and itching. I had to take her to the vet and they said it was probably this food. Don't use.

I've always loved animals and dogs are certainly one of my favorites. I only feed them the best and have always trusted the Purina brand. Our veternarian highly recommended Purina One dog food and we've been using it ever since. Since I own a farm and rescue dogs from kill shelters, we go through a lot of it.

I recently found out that Purina has a rewards program for those with more than 5 dogs. That certainly included me, so I joined. I have received coupons for free dog food and many other items. I definitely have a great view of Purina dog food!

I have 2 dogs now and one is 2 years old and the other 5 years old and showing her age. Both are mixed breeds. My 5 year old was started on this and I did the challenge. I have also tried other foods. She started to have more energy and a better coat with this food. I noted on the bag that it has glucosamine in it. No wonder she felt more energetic. I have purchased more big bags of this dog food in the past year. Now, she keeps up with the little pup and is doing well. Thanks so much Purina for knowing my dog....

Ive had a couple dogs that got sick,nothing really serious but the dogs wouldn't eat anything that day.I allways feed my dogs a variety of foods and they would not eat any of there normal foods.I tried giving them a little of the Purna One and it seems like when ever my dogs are a little under the weather,I can trust they will eat a little bit of the Purina One,it seems like it just easy on their stomaches for soom reason.I would highly recommend keeping a bag of Purina One around,and some dogs seem to like this brand of food better than any other dry dog food I've used....

We started my pets on this a few months ago and WOW! They have more energy, and theiir coats are so much softer and healthier looking.

I have an overweigh Lab mix. and he was quite over weigh and not very active. We decided that the food we were giving him was lacking something we switched. The first week was rough because we also started decreasing the portion size too. He was naughty, and getting into the garbage the first day. But it got lots better.

Now 3 months later he has lost some weight and is like a new dog. He is 4 and now acts like a puppy. He would play before but get tired out quickly, now we are tired out before him.

A LOW Quality food containing by products, beef tallow, corn, and other ingredients that are NOT good for your dog. THIS is rated by dogfoodanalysis.com as being a 1 star food, they rate between 1 star and 6 stars. The ONLY food that ranks between 4 and 6 that you can get at Petsmart for example is Blue Buffalo, Blue Buffalo regular foods get 4 stars and IS a recommended dog food, and Blue Buffalo Wilderness is rated 6 stars their HIGHEST RATING. It costs more than Purina ONE but not so much more that if you are concerned about your dogs health that you should not switch over to this food OR another 4,5 or 6 food, as most of these foods are made with ingredients that are FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. Purina one and its ingredients are NOT fit for human consumption.

We alternate between Pedigree and Iams for our dogs.Pedigree like Iams is a favorite with them. I feel good knowing that they are eating healthy. One of my favorite ads on television with pedigree advertising is the one showing the pound and the dog looking for someone to adopt them. That commercial is so sad, but so true. They are a pet food that not only sells their product, but brings to light all the poor animals needing homes in shelters. I'm glad my two dogs love their food because I feel good in buying their product from a caring company....

I have noticed a signifigent difference with the shinnyness and beauty in the eyes of my dog as well as the color of his fur, so the challenge was good for him.

The Purina -One adult dog comes in 3 flavors Chicken,Lamb,and Beef... My dog does not care for the chicken flavor but he likes the beef and and lamb formulas offered for a change in variety in tastes...

Purina has always been a trusted blend in our hosehold,and has not been pulled of the shelf for recalls as other brands had been..

when you look at all of the different types of dog foods out there you wonder what is realy right for your dog because in my house they are not just dogs they are part of our family and so i want them to be happy and healthy just like my kids and purina has always had top of the line ingredients and never been pulled pff the shelf because its not safe to eat and i respect that i have only had my dogs for just over a year but they love the taste of purina and i belive that they desrve the best even if it does cost a little more than the other brands they are important and so is the food we put in them...

With the recent pet food scares, I, like so many pet owners, wondered if we were buying the right thing. I had been buying Purina brand ever since I first had a dog which has been about 40 years & my pets always did well on it. I continued to feed my 2 Lhasa's the Purina One & they've done exceptionally well. They digest it well, they're healthy, they have lots of energy, they are not constantly wanting to go outside to find a "spot" & they stand close by waiting for me to fill their bowls with it. I have never tossed any of it away as they "graze" at their bowls through out the day. The added plus is that they've held their weight with no gain or loss. My pets are very precious to me & I'd never feed them something that I felt was bad for them. This is an item I can rely on to keep my pets happy, well fed & healthy....

This is the only food I will feed my beautiful black lab. It keeps him healthy, his coat shiny, his weight under control and he absolutely loves it! I have recommended this dog food to every dog owner I know....

I have been using Purina ONE for about five years now. I have two dogs with very dry and sensitive skin. At one time these two girls were scaly and flakey and scabby and itchy and on top of that they got fleas as well. I took them to the vet and $1,200.00 later they were better. I read about Purina ONE being good for dogs for skin problems. At this point, I had tried all kinds of additives and topical items trying to help these two girls. I started them on Purina ONE and now they have no dry flakey skin and seldom itch. Trina gets a little dry and flakey sometimes but a bath in oatmeal shampoo does the trick. I never vary the brand of dog food that I buy. Occasionally I might get a different flavor but it is always Purina ONE. I would reccomend this food to everyone....

My cats like this food, and it is good for them. My vet recommended it as both affordable and healthy. My cats are only indoor cats, and this keeps them healthy and hairball free. I can't imagine feeding them anything else! It's too bad that it costs so much more than other Purina varieties, but it was worth it! Usually you can find a coupon for it in the paper if you look....
