My dog Lulu is somewhat of a picky eater...but she is happy to eat beneful! I trust the Purina brand and she loves the flavor or beneful. The nutrition is there and I do see a marked improvement in her coats' texture and it seems to keep her teeth clean too.

I have been feeding my two dogs Purina Beneful: Healthy Weight for the past year or so and it has been working out well. I finally found a food they both love and look forward to. The especially enjoy it when mixing the dry food with Beneful's meat and veggie entree's.

The only downside is my vet has indicated she is noticing a dogs eating this food are requiring teeth cleanings more often, so it appears to be a bit unhealthy in terms of dental care.

I have been feeding my dog Beneful for about 7 months without issue until one day the dog started scattering her food across the floor and picking and choosing the pieces she ate. The next morning she vomited her entire breakfast. After inspecting her food it seemed abnormally greasy and crumbly. The dog wanted nothing to do with it but had no problem eating any other treats or types of dog food. She knew something was wrong with it and we'll be staying away from it from this point forward.

My slightly underweight German Shepard and my obese Bernese Mountain Dog both eat this food and love it. They eat it completely dry, without any additives or mixing with other foods.
My Berner has always had a weight problem (he's 8, now), but with this food, he stays trim and svelt (as svelt as he can be for a teddy bear). My very picky GSD also eats this food without any complaints (surprise)...she came from home that only fed her bonless skinless chicken breasts cooked up and cut into cubes.

I too tried this product for my Beagle mix. Even eating regular portions of most dog foods, Toby had a tendency to be a little heavier than the vet recommended. She said that beagles tend to be hearty eaters who pack on weight easily. It's equally as hard to get the weight off of these little guys. Toby was at 34 pounds when I started him on Beneful Healthy Weight, and now he is at his target weight of about 30 pounds. He has a healthy little arch in his tummy now, but is not too skinny, just right. His weight has stayed consistent as he's been eating Beneful consistently, so I would recommend it. He is also happy to gobble up his portion at every meal time, so I know he likes it!...

About 50 % of the Calcium Oxalate crystal urinary tract infections have been linked to this diet. I try to dissuade as many of my clients away from this food....

My dog can not eat any other dog food because of her digest problems also she loves

to eat beneful dog food.This dog food helps to keep her weight down, is easy for

her to digest, and beneful does not cost much. Other dog foods make her get sick.

Beneful is the only food she can eat.

my dog was very over weight and decided to try this food and i was amazed of the turn out i followed the feeding instructions on the bag and within a month i seen a big inprovement i would recomeend thid food to everyone my dog really liked it and my dog is very picky, the price is not to bad either...

I started feeding my dogs beneful weight management over a year ago and I have a large black lab who was really overweight and had to lose it because of hip problems and this is the only dog food which really showed us weight results and all my dogs really love this food and never get tired of it. It is a little expensive, but not as expensive as the iams weight formula that I used for four years and could never tell it was helping at all, so I would highly recommend this food to anyone who has a dog who could lose a few pounds or can't excercise as much as they used to....

I have many rescue animals so I need a quality product at a reasonable price. Beneful Weight Maintenance is the answer for me. All of my dogs love it and I love it because it keeps them slim and I am not wasting money on food they refuse to each, which has happened to me with other brands. I also like that Beneful is easy to find in my local wal-mart or foodstore. A few folks mentioned that it has limited variety, but that has never bothered me, but they have what I need. My dogs and I give this food two thums up!...

This product has been wonderful. I have two older dogs and weight management became an issue over the last two years. Both of the dogs are between the ages of 7-10 and are not as active as they used to be. THe problem with most weight management dog foods is that the dogs do not like the food. This is not the case with this product. The dogs can't even tell the difference. They love this product....

I am so happy to have found a reasonably priced dog food that my dogs love, and that I feel good about giving them. It's great to read the ingredients and see good things listed first. My dogs love it (even the finicky one) and I know it's good for them. The weight control formula also has taken a few pounds off my overweight dog, while she still gets to eat the servings she is used to eating....

This is supposed to be a good product nutritional wise. I'm not sure how to read the labels, but I've heard lots of good things. I have a picky dog who usually won't eat dry dog food, but he really likes this one. My mom found the same thing true with her own finicky food eater too. We have no problems giving this product to our dogs!...

I have an older dog who is a bit picky about his food till I found this. He likes it and I feel good feeding it to him because it's not only good for him but has a good variety of chicken, rice and vegetables. I feel he's getting the nutrition he needs. I have also noticed alot of stores carry this dog food, so it's not hard to find....
