I tried this detergent twice, and really wanted it to work for us...but it didn't. It doesn't get stains out of fabrics, even when I pretreated. It also didn't give our laundry that fresh and clean feeling, almost like things were still dingy after going through a wash. Oh well.

We have been using Purex for a long time now over 3 years and we really like it. The price is just in our budget and the selection of scents is good.

I don't ever feel like my clothes aren't clean or don't smell clean. They even feel really nice after coming out of the laundry. They make my towels nice to the touch too.

I use the After the Rain scent and Mountain and it leaves my clothes smelling nice and fresh. The smell lasts for a while on the clothes too which is nice too. Even after a week or longer in the closet. I've even had people tell me they can smell it.

I won't use anything else unless someone buys me something different or I have a coupon that can save me a ton of money on detergent.

It definanitely worth the money that you would use to buy since it's one of the cheapest out there.

I think it's even as good as Tide and I know that is saying a lot since it's the best out there.

Puex is a good value for the money. It is not only reasonably priced it cleans very well. For many years this was the only laundry soap that I bought. I still buy and prefer Purex fabric softner. If you are on a budget I recommend this product.

I have sensitive skin, I can't use laundry detergent like Tide so I often buy the Purex. I love the fact that it has great scents(mountain fresh) the best. I buy liquid laundry detergent due to the water I have the powder clumps. When I have to get stains off of clothing I just rub a little Purex on the stain then throw in the washer. It does just a good job as any other stain cleaner....

Purex liquid is the only detergent my family can use. We have very sensitive skin, and other sensitive skin formulas didn't irritate our skin, but didn't clean either. Purex liquid is a great cleaner and leaves my clothes looking brand new. We especially like the "bleach alternative" style.

I especially like the new bottles that are reduced-packaging, same loads. Purex also makes a fabric softener that is really great and does not irritate our skin.

I used to use Yes detergent, but it has been taken off the market for the second time. So I tried Purex which I had used many years ago. I was happy to find that I can use it comfortably and not get any rashes from this detergent. I have tried other detergents that are scent free and are not supposed to be harsh, but have been. I am happy to find so many different scents in the Purex. The only thing I remember is trying it when the bottles were huge and 2 for $5.00. But then again what has not gone up in price and down in size. I am happy that Purex is still on the market and I have the choices of many scents to use now. My husband is also happy that his shirts smell nice again.

My family does ALOT of laundry, so as much as I would like to buy a more expensive laundry detergent, I usually go for the cheaper ones. My daughter and I have sensitive skin and most of the cheaper detergents irritate our skin. When I found the Purex Free soap, I figured I would give it a try. So far, it has been the only one that works for us! I love that it takes out alot of heavy stains that my son comes home with, and I dont have to rewash things to get out the ground in stains.

I also love the scents on the regular soap, the mountain fresh being my favorite! Plus, I am always finding coupons and almost every week at least one store has Purex on sale. I will most likely keep on using Purex!

I have used Purex and found it to be less than reliable. It doesn't take out everyday spots even with pretreating. I have tried it several times over the past few years and had the same results....

I found myself buying Purex laundry soap quite often because it kept going on sale and I had coupons. To my surprise, this soap turned out to work quite well! Most stains were removed and the clothes were clean. I am big on smells and I was delighted to find my laundry smelled so clean and fresh. So here is laundry soap that is both economical and works well. What more could you ask for?...

purex laundry detergent cleans well and smells great! i would recommend this product to anyone with children and stains . you can use it to prewash on stains and you dont need to rewash anything when you use this product. i have been using this product fo almost 3 years and will not use any other detergent. i have got my whole family to use it also and they love it, my ister says it is the best soap she has ever used....

I have been using,"Purex Laundry Soap" for years now and I have noticed that it is going up on prices because of the different scents,I use to think it was cheap now their are others out thier that are now less expensive then this,but it does do the job and I will still continue using this.I do like the improvements though....

I started buying the Purex brand of laundry soap when I developed an allergy to another brand. Since then I have use Purex for all my laundry needs. I've never had a reaction to it and neither didi my children when they were small. I also like the fact that even if I buy the scented my laundry doen't have a heavy smell that makes my nose hurt....
