My store was out of my usual laundry detergent so I purchased a bottle of Purex Natural Elements Landry Detergent as I had a ton of laundry and needed detergent NOW. The first thing I noticed about this detergent was the scent, this stuff really smells good and there are several scent choices too. Well smelling good is important but could this stuff cut through all the stains my family manages to pick up? The first load I washed was towels and yes, even a dishtowel that had been used to wipe up a red koolaid spill came out white. So far so good but now on to the real challenge. My husband is a mechanic, could this very inexpensive product possibly get all the greasy stains out of his jeans? I rubbed some directly into the greasiest stains and tossed the pants into the washer. I was amazed, almost all of the stains came out of his pants. Now some of these may have been older set in stains so I think this detergent did an awesome job! Now I buy Purex Natural Elements Laundry...
...

I love Purex naturel elements laundry detergent. Not only is the scent nice and fresh but so is the price. The added plus is that it's enviornmentally good. Now at least I can do my laundry and do my part lilttle by little with every laundry load in helping tke care of the enviornment.I do wish it came in the after the rain scent I just love that smell! I have yet to use the softener but I have heard good things about it.I once used a little Purex naturel elements to hand wash a delicate shirt of mine, and since it was just for one shirt the scent lingered a bit longer.A family member of mine noticed the smell and thought I had a new perfume on.I told her now I didnt even put perfume on that day,its the Purex naturel elements detergent. She was so surprised that it smelled so great,(and washed clothes great too) and not "soapy like" that the next day she bought herself a bottle and now uses it for all her laundry needs! I have sensitive skin and this didnt irritate it at all,I've gone through...
...

I am a cheapskate and my main complaint about cheaper brands of laundry detergent is that they just don't smell as good (I admit, if I weren't so cheap [and if I had the money], I'd buy Tide). But Purex Natural Elements smells amazing!

I lived in a little house on a farm for a short time and the pipes from the laundry room drained right outside into the ground. Not wanting to kill the owner's plants around the house, I purchased all natural, biodegradable products at an obscene price until I found the nice and cheap Purex kind. I'd used Purex before, so I knew it was a decent brand I could trust, so I got some to try.

It smells amazing! I thought other environmentally friendly brands didn't smell good at all. I don't know how Purex did it, but this stuff smells soooo good! Even now in a normal place where I can use anything I want, this stuff is a great choice if I feel like having my laundry smell great!
...

I have used Tide all my life, as far back as I can remember! With the economy the way it is, and with a child with eczema and sensitive skin myself, I started my search for a cheaper laundry detergent that was still gentle on my skin. CVS was having a sale on Purex laundry detergent, which I had never heard of before, but for a great deal, I will try practically anything! I found purex natural elements laundry detergent, and was pleasantly surprised. For about one- third of the price of Tide, I get awesome results! We have had no skin problems, and the scent is great! We are now Purex users!
...

I bought Purex Natural Elements because on the bottle it says that it's hypoallergenic. I began to feel burning and itching along my waist line, bra strap lines, and sock lines! Anywhere that my clothes fit snug burned and/or itched to the point that I scratched until almost bleeding. I rubbed and scratched over my clothes so I wouldn't break my skin so easily and my palms started to burn and itch! Keep in mind, I've never been allergic to anything my entire life. There has to be something in this detergent that isn't on the label.
...

I love Purex naturals. I have always used Purex, but I really like the Purex Naturals. My favorite scent is Lillies and Linen. It works just as great as the original Purex, but it is better for the environment. So I can continue using my favorite brand and help the environment too. And now they have a fabric softner to match the scents too.
...

I tried Purex Natural Elements Laundry Detergent Apple/melon scent and I like it a lot. It doesn't smell very natural, but the fragrance is very light after the clothes are dry and I appreciated that. It makes the clothes smell clean and fresh and they come clean. The bottle is huge and the cup allows you to measure easily for small loads and large loads, so it's economical. My bottle was on sale so I tried it, but I am sure I will buy it again. The other fragrances smelled like a typical over-fragranced detergent but the apple/melon smells unique and that is why I picked it up.
...

Because it supposedly contained "All Natural Elements", I decided to try this detergent. Whether it's the fragance or something else (no ingredients are listed 'nautrally derived suftanctants') this detergents seems to have triggered allergic reactions in me which I've never had before. At 70, I'm living proof that one is never too old to become allergic. Now I'm washing everything in Woolite. And as far as I can tell, this started after I used Purex Natural Elements....

Many of my friends at Viewpoints write on natural and/or organic products and I have confessed to This2ShallPass19 and LisaCarey that I don't know anyone near me who are eco-friendly. Well, I have been using Purex laundry detergent for about 12 years and I think I am joining the ranks of those going green! Hey, can I get some brownie points since I don't own a dryer? I have been in my new home now for five years and made a conscious decision to not have a dryer installed. I either line dry my clothes, weather permitting, or I do Chinese laundry indoors. I'm conserving energy AND I'm saving money on my power bill.
I have used Purex because it hasn't caused me skin allergies like many of the other laundry detergents, Tide in particular. Purex also tends to be about $3 cheaper per bottle than the more expensive name brands. About two or three months ago *someone wrote a review on Purex Natural Elements, I think. Or maybe I saw it in a store and just thought I already heard...
...

I really love Purex detergents. My sister in law told me about it. I find they work as well or better than the higher priced detergents. They leave a pleasant smell. Your clothes are soft and they do not fade with this detergent. It really does a great job on grease and most other stains. If you have not tried it, you need to do so and compare to the laundry detergent you are using now. I think you will agree and make a switch to Purex and save money. You can usually find them on sale somewhere as they are available in drug stores as well as grocery stores....
