We have been using the Pumpkin Master carving kits for several years and really enjoy the results. We were tired of the same old boring faces we had been carving. The Pumpkin Master kit provides many fun designs to choose from and each is labeled with the degree of difficulty to help you decide which design to try. We get compliments every year from the families that visit our house for trick-or-treating. The thin blades make it easy to cut out the designs, however be careful not to go too fast or the blade can bend and possibly break. The only other problem we have had is that it is sometimes difficult to get the pattern to lay properly on the pumpkin. We follow the recommendations for the pumpkin shape, but sometimes we still need to adjust the design just slightly to make it fit. All in all, I would definitely recommend these kits!...

What a smart person to make this come to market. The handle on the scrapper needs to be a little more comfortable. Remember some of us ladies have long fingernails....

This product was impressive to me and my boyfriend as well as my family. The book included really cool patterns and very easy to do. I enjoyed it very much and i highly recommend this product. The utensils that are included in the product package are very easy to handle, there small and kid friendly aswell, which is a big plus for me. Being a kid at heart i get a little carried away with my stuff so the product worked great for me. The package also came with simple directions that almost anyone could follow.The product is available at target and i belive walmart as well. of course only during halloween season, im sure.

We had a pumkin carving party around Halloween, and I wish we had this product. It makes pumpkin carving so much easier. If only there was a little cleaner-upper inside to clean up all the seeds! I don't think such a thing exists yet...

Excellent for detail carving, esp. in my full-length Audrey Hepburn portrait. Needed extra fine tools for the eyelashes.

This year was my first Halloween with my new husband. We weren't married until 11/16/07, but we were living together during the Halloween holiday. I had never been a huge Halloween fanatic but realized quickly as the day approached that I would have to get into the pumpkin carving mood. I had carved pumpkins as a kid but they were always your plain jane pumpkins with the triangles. This kit helped me to become a pumpkin carving genius basically overnight! It's wonderful for those of you who are perfectionists who like details! I had more fun on my kitchen floor with all the carving tools! We bought and carved 10 pumpkins in all between my husband, brother-in-law and roommate. I definately recommend this to anyone who enjoys this sort of thing!...

I discovered the pumkin carving kits several years ago. I was very surprised at how easy it was to do. I carved two pumpkins. I started with a beginner pattern and saw it was so easy! I also did one that was called moderate. Everyone was amazed at how cute they turned out. I got many praises on my pumpkins. I can't wait for Halloween to roll around each year just so that I can carve pumpkins! I wish I had taken a picture of them so that I could post them! My 14 year old has been doing the moderate level ones since last year. If you haven't tried this you must! The tools are so easy to use that come with the kit. The little knife to cut the top open on the pumpkin is so easy to use. It also comes with a scooper for removing the pumpkin meat. All you have to do is pick your pattern tape it to the front of the pumpkin and begin!...

This carving set comes with everthing that you will need to create the perfect jack o lantern. Make sure that you select a pumpkin that is fairly flat on one side to make it a little easier. You can also make the pattern bigger on the copier to make it fit larger pumkins. We always do a free style pumkin and one with a pattern. There are various patterns from cute to down right scary and they are all rated according to difficulty. The easy ones are great for kids under 12, but the harder ones take an adult. Kids can still help by scraping the pulp and seeds and marking the design. It takes a little patience and a whole lot of time to do the harder ones though. The best thing about it is you only have to buy the kit once and can reuse the patterns and tools every year. Love it!...

The first thing that grabs you about this kit is the cover and designs. There are simple to intriquette. The pages are similar to most other carving kits, but many of the patterns sem to be unique. All of the carving utensis that you need come with this kit, and even though the large scraper is the only one that comes with the kit and it really isn't large enough to make scraping out the extra large pumpins practicel, I use a large serving spoon for all my pumpkins. The smaller blades are a tiny bit flimsy and tend to bend a bit, but I have also found that to be true with most other kits as well. As long as you take your time and don't rush,they will work fine and complete any of the patterns that come with the kit. Over all, on a scale of 1-10, this kit rates a 7....

I love this product. I have a little girl and she loves to help carve pumpkins. This way I know she is having fun and I also get to make a good pumpkin instead of the same old face every year. Just about any body can do this. Its fun and easy....

It's easy to use and fun, but I wouldn't let anyone under the age of 10 use it without supervision. It's still a bunch of knives! but they can scrape out the guts to occupy themselves. It's a good deal - there are packages for 5 times as much that don't have all the carving implements. And this is easy to find - it's at all the grocery & craft stores. The knives even last until the next year - if you can find them!...

When I got this kit, I was amazed at all of the images you could choose from. the tools are very useful and come in handy while doing detailed work. i love carving during halloween, and i will certainly use this product in the future. This is by far the best pumpkin carving tool I have ever used and allowed me to easily make dozens of intricate pumpkin designs. I like to do the stencil carvings instead of hand done, because I am not a very good artist. The scraper works better than kitchen spoons. The detailers can bend a little bit, but they have held out for me and my family for two years now, and they are still holding on. So I definately feel I got my money worth....

This product is wonderful to get the whole family together! There are easy to difficult pattern so everyone gets their own based on age, experience, and how much time they wish to spend carving. A hint...if you don't finish in one night wrap your pumpkin with saran wrap and put in the frige until the next night. It will preserve it perfectly....

I bought this set last year and we used it to carve 2 pumpkins it was so simple we were able to do both of them in only 2 hours and they turned out so great, every one who visited the house was impressed. I was so impressed I bought the new version this year and I would like to start using the sets to start carving out the reusable pumpkins. I will definitely be buying another one of these next year to see what new patterns they have....
