I was so excited when I found these at my local Wal-Mart. If you have a hard time knitting the old fashon way like I used to these looms will be the answer to your prayers. They come with easy to follow instructions and it is easy to find patterens all over the internet. I highly reccomend these for those that want to give knitting a try. Even my three year old nephew can use these..

The Knifty Knitter was great the only problem I had was getting the right size for my son's heads. but other than that it is great, i knit and crochet as well and this is much easier and faster than either.

I've had my Provo-craft looms for about 2 years now. I have the four round looms and the four long looms. For the first year I only made hats on the round loom and scarves on the long looms. But I just recently bought some loom pattern books and its opened up a whole new world to looming! On these looms you can make a variety of things such as mittens, socks, slippers, hats with visors, even larger items such as sweaters. A lot of people also use them to make cute little decorations such as Christmas ornaments and such. If you knit with wool yarn, you can "felt" your items, which means you wash them for a few minutes in hot water to shrink the wool and bind the fibers together to create a felt-like look.The Knifty Knitter looms by Provo-craft are a great place to start if you've never loomed before, or don't even know what it is! There are a few great things about them:

Provocraft has come up with a great way for even small children to be crafty! The Knifty Knitter is so easy and quick to use, nobody will ever know you did not spend days knitting a handmade item. They come is a straight bar loom for blankets or a circular loom for hats, mittens- you name it! This is so easy to use, I highly reccommend it to anyone!...

The instructions to this craft (non smoking device) are a lttle confusing and frustrating. Once you get the hang of it though, boy, can you crank out some neat home made items. The hook that comes with the kit is a little fragile. But all in all, a good project kit.

I learned to knit and am very slow at it. I received the round looms and instantly picked it up! I have made 17 hats and bough the long looms and made 6 scarves in a month!!! I am learning new stitches and making all kinds of things. I have about 6 friends who have purchased these (who used to knit!). :)...

I have rheumatoid arthritis and had no problems while using this. It is great for people just wanting to make a couple hats, or for people wanting to knit all the time. I had a coupon, so the price was cut nearly in half. I suggest doing it that way....

The Knifty Knitter is the best way to knit without needles. It is very easy to use and very versatile as well. I have used mine for a couple of years now and I love it as much now as I did when I bought it!

The circular looms are perfect for hats and the rectangular ones are great for scarves, blankets, and so much more!
