I did not see it the first couple of seasons but have been a advit fan for the last few. It amazes me what they make every week. I love watching alot of reality shows and this is definetly one of my favorite. Last weeks was amazing. What they did out of newspaper was mindblowing. Half of the outfits you couldnt even tell it was newspaper. I wish I had that kind of talent. I find myself fighting with the judges alot because some times I think they kick the wrong people off but most of the time they get it right. If you love fashion and reality tv you will love this show. They also expanded on the models point of view this season. I don't find that show have as entertaining as this and it's only a half an hour. I love Tim Gunn and I think he helps the designers out with being a nice guy about it. The judges can be a little brutal some times but I guess thats how the show goes. They did do a show before on regular women and they got to model the clothes. It...</p>... Gunn in his inimitable way is somewhat fatherly, somewhat best friendy and all business at the same time. Klum is adorable with her German accent and her Auf Wiedersehens and double cheek kisses when a designer is voted off the show.</strong></p> <p><strong>I absolutely love when Gunn does his 'designers gather round' bit, and then takes them shopping for fabrics at MOOD with a watchful eye and the posture of a strong unbending pine tree. You honestly feel like he is taking it all very seriously (as he should) and keeps the fluttering and nervous designers on their toes time limits like a school teacher lining them up for an assembly, it's great to watch.</strong></p> <p><strong>The anchors of fashion director for Elle maggie Nina Garcia and designer Michael Kors add the right touch of fashion...</strong></p>... Thu, 27 Aug 2009 14:56:33 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Project-Runway-review-fc5d0 ApriBambino 5 http://www.viewpoints.com/Project-Runway-review-35c9 <p>Project runway had a masters show preceding the seasons premier all the stand out contestants from the last few seasons were there and it was great.  santino was in fine form and chris was there, although i'm not sure why korto made the cut she seems to have a piss poor attitude.  sweet pea was back and the one who won the challenge was daniel who has definetly grown since he was on the show and he was also so grateful  for his win.  i think that santino and chris should team up with michael p from the next food network star show and form a company i think they would make an amazing team and they are all so colorful and talented, i'm sure they would put out amazing product.  tim was cool as a cucumber as usual and heidi pregnant, how many kids does that make?  the season premier was interesting although i didn't really see any really strong personalities yet.  I guess i'm spoiled from the last few seasons.  I would love to see a where are they know episode.</p>... I have watched every season and cant wait for the next! Every season has new an forward thinking designers that inspire new fashions for me. The judges are always fair and make their decisions based on the clothing designed and not their preference of personality among designers.... In many reality shows, you only have drama, but with PR you also have beautiful clothes that make you really appreciate the challengers' skills while marvelling at their insanity. This show makes for truly great entertainment, and once you start watching, you can't help but be hooked. Besides the contestants, there are also the hilariously cute cast - Tim Gunn, Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, and Nina Garcia each have their own quirks that set this show apart from the rest of the pack. The contestants are usually interesting, the challenges are typically out there enough to keep me involved, celebraties are always popping up, and the diversity of styles keeps things stirred up. Wed, 17 Sep 2008 14:11:45 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Project-Runway-review-9ebc4 Jill1127 4 http://www.viewpoints.com/Project-Runway-review-811c5 <p>Project Runway is a reality show where designers have to design an outfit each week.  The challenge is usually based upon a certain client type or a particular fabric or theme.  The best designer of the week gains immunity for the next challenge and the worst designer is eliminated.  I love to see the quirky outfits the designers come up with and all the workroom drama between the contestants.  My favorite part of the show is Tim Gunn.  He always seems amazed(and not necessarily in a good way!) with what the designers are creating.  But even though he has a look of horror, he always try's to find something positive or at-least encouraging to say.  I find myself using his catch phrase "Make it work"  I don't always agree with the judges decision on who should go.  I definitely think they keep some contestants on based on their personalities and how much drama they cause, more so than on the outfit they designed that week.  All in all the show is fun and entertaining and I definitely...</p>... These designers are for the most part all fabulous, and they really go through much hard work to create their fashions in such a short time. Also i love the new designers and find it harder and harder to know who they'll get rid of. I was a fashion merchandising major in colllege and think it's fun to see all the fashion stuff on T.V. I also sew a little and think it's interesting how quickly they create the designs and how wearable some of them are....
