I initially purchased my ProForm Treadmill 5 years ago when I had back surgery. I was told that walking was not only my best exercise but it would help in my recuperation. My treadmill has many features such as inclines, speed adjustment, heart and pulse rate. It also shows calories burned and fat calories burned. It also came with three different weight hand weights and you can do programmable routines. Although I don't use it as often as I should, it really comes in handy when I have the urge to burn a few calories when the weather is bad. My one and only complaint is that is was very costly. I feel that the quality is very good however, I do feel that it was overpriced. I'm not sure if I had bought straight from the manufacturer the price would be better or not. All in all, the ProForm Treadmill is a very good product and my grandchildren have hours of fun on it. Unfortunately, they seem to use it more than me. My overall satisfaction of this product is that it...
...

OldMcRonald says "The Proform treadmill is one of the wisest buys I have made!" about Proform Treadmills

When my wife and I first purchased our treadmill in 2007, it was to be used to keep us in shape. We had been married for only a few months, and I was already starting to gain some weight. I did some research and decided that the best way to stay in shape was regular exercise...nothing better than a treadmill.

We ended up buying the Proform treadmill because of the price. I did not need a fancy, state-of-the-art machine that calculated hundreds of numbers per minute. All I wanted was a thing that I could walk and run on, and in that regard the Proform delivered flawlessly.

The unit was easy to put together, and although it is heavy once assembled, it has wheels and is generally easy to move. Set up was a breeze as the unit is simply plug-and-go.

Durability was a concern, because I was pushing 230lbs. when I started using the machine. However, I began walking and running right away without so much as a groan from the treadmill!

We have moved twice since buying our treadmill, and it still...
...

Really love it when I can use it. I have Degenerative Disc Disease and Stenosis so right now I am limited. Can't wait to get back on it thought if only for a short time. Beats walking in bad weather and can watch your shows as well.
...

How could I forget this treadmill? It's right outside my bedroom right now. I don't use it anymore, but I did when I was forced to exercise as a child by my parents as an attempt to stem my excessive weight growth. Now the only family member who uses it is my mother, but she hasn't used it over the past few weeks either. It's a good thing this came with a warranty, so we were able to replace parts when they got broken - I think it was that part you tread upon, the rubber. One of my cousins got seriously injured from this thing, so I advise you to use caution - don't go at an excessive speed, for it isn't a toy. It was the incident that was a curse upon us, but we have returned the insult by simply abandoning it. When we got this treadmill, it was one of the best treadmils on the market. I imagine that the price has gone down over the past years, and that there are better treadmills available today.
...

I can't say enough about the treadmill. My husband and I really love the way it works, easy to use and get a work out at the same time. Easy on the knees, but does what it is supposed to, work us out. Being able to set the speed helps both of us, we can adjust for the way each of us wants to use it. Quiet so that you can watch tv or listen to music while you are working out. Does not interfere with someone else if they are in the room at the same time. Rolls easily so it can be moved to one side of the room or the other. When you are using it, you do not even know that you are working out that is how good it makes you feel. Easy to balance on and the size of the walking area is a plus. Not one of those little slim walking areas that you are afraid you are going to step off of. Both of us are hoping this will help use reach our goals.
...

I ordered my proform online because I was pressed for time and money. I did look at the reviews for it prior to making the purchase and I had owned a Pro Form treadmill before and that lasted for about 10 years before the belt completely snapped off of it. That treadmill came with a t.v. and that being the reason I bought it was the first feature to break down, then it started shutting off on its own in mid-run. Not only is that dangerous but extremely annoying but if you "jiggled" the wires just right it would eventually turn back on. The newest one that I purchased was again cheap and had fairly good reviews but it did take 6 weeks to get to me which was just in tome for the bad weather in Michigan to break. Then the part of the display was all banged up but i did not want to wait and go through the trouble of dis assembling, returning and re packaging a treadmill that weighs at least 150 pounds so I kept it, then some of the buttons came loose now the motor is REALLY loud and I have...
...

I just bought a used ProForm treadmill off Craig's List. I had no doubt that it would still be in usuable condition since my last ProForm lasted a VERY long time. The only thing I had had to do with my last one was replace the belt on it and that wasn't too difficult to do. The cushioned belt is awesome and doesn't hurt my knees. It's almost as good as running outdoors! I love my ProForm treadmill!
...

A ad in the newspaper brought my attention to a moving sale in town. i called immediately and asked if they had a treadmill. Yes they did, and they wanted $200.00 for it. i immediately made arrangements to see the machine. it was a sears proform 775, sitting alone in the basement. she bought it for her hubby for christmas, he used it for 2 weeks, and it hadn't run since (it was september). i immediately bought it, her hubby was so glad not to have to lug it around he even delivered it to my house at no charge! The machine is very easy to operate, it has a heart monitor and keeps records on speed, calories burned, fat calories burned, incline, speed. It even has a few programs that you can follow if you dont want to use the manual setting. The machine is VERY cumbersome and not easy for one person to move around. But it has followed us along 3 moves, my hubby wants it gone, but i will keep it til it doesn't work anymore!!! i love i and it keeps me motivated to move a little.
...

I recently bought the Proform 380 Crosswalk Treadmill. When I first looked at this treadmill I thought it was kind of small, but once it was delivered and setup (by Sears), I realized that this treadmill was the perfect size. My family has owned other treadmills over the years, but the features that I especially like about this treadmill is that it is quiet, you can add more to your workout by using the workout arms, it has several pre-programed workouts, you can adjust the incline with a push of a button and most of all the price was right. I actually found this treadmill to cost less than similar less durable treadmills that is sold by Wal-Mart....

The Perform 360E Treadmill was fairly easy to set up by myself but would be much easier with 2 people. Spacewise, it is just right when you lack a lot of room---I just wish the motor was a little quieter since I watch television while using it and I have to turn the volume up a bit too high for my family. ...

I use the Proform Treadmill a minimum of 5 times per week and have been satisfied with it's performance thus far.Sturdiness seems to be the biggest issue with home treadmills, and this one is definately that.

The only issue that I have had is while I am at a fast paced walk, my forward heel is able to push the runner forward just a little bit, causing you to slightly lose balance.Other than this issue, very satisfied with the treadmill.

I would buy more products from this manufacturer.
...

We recently bought a Pro-Form Crosstrainer 5.0. It has a lot of preset workouts to do. They have a wide range of workouts that help you work up to running for a long time at a fast pace. I t has a fan on the front of it which is a great feature for the tough workouts. Within a month the treadmil stopped incling. We called cutomer service and they had a recording that said, "Due to high call volumes, there are not any customer service representatives available." I think I called 12 times that day without getting any answers or a live person to talk to. My husband ending up calling the sales department and the guy said customer service had been slow all day, and it took him like 2 minutes to tell us how to fix the problem. I wasn't impressed at all. Kind of looked like customer service didn't feel like working that day. It would have been nice to put more troubleshooting issues in the manual. Overall, I love the treadmill, but customer service... not so much....
