I have 2 experiences with them. First time the flowers were quite small, but what the heck, the price wasn't bad. Second time I used them to deliver flowers to in remembrance of my uncle, who had just died. The flowers were never delivered. I didn't learn this until I called a friend to see how the flowers looked. Embarrassing. I'll never use Proflowers again.
...

buyerbeware1 says "Double Charged my cc more than once & Poor Customer Service" about ProFlowers.com

Let me start by saying I used to be a proflowers fan. The last 4 transactions however have been HORRIBLE, followed up by HORRIBLE customer service. I send flowers about 5-6 times a year, since most of my family live out of state. I sent my mother flowers for Mothers Day and they came already bloomed and almost dead, the 2nd batch they sent came about the same. My mom never told me, because she felt bad and months later I was told by my sister how poor they looked. I was also charged $15 for an Easysavr that I never knew I signed up for. It was charged to my card for 3 months, without my knowledge. It took a few weeks for them to take care of this. last week I purchased some flowers and had had a discount with the flowers, which unfortunetly it didnt matter, because they charged my card the original price and the discounted price. Nobody will help me, nor refund my card. I was charged over $70 for a $25 purchase, which I am now disputing with my bank. They origianlly told me it would take...
...

2 things you need to know before you order flowers from ProFlowers.com

1) your order will be shipped to your special person via UPS or FEDEX and arrive in a sealed brown box all squished and not arranged in a vase.

2) by placing an order with them, you are agreeing to ( in very small print) to join their ezsaver club and what ever form of payment you used for the orig purchase will be billed $14.95 every month. It is difficult to cancel this "membership" and get reimbursed.
...

Proflowers.com is the best online flower store I have used. In the past I have tried other services to send flowers as gifts to family, friends, and business associates but have been disappointed with quality for the price. My rerecipients have always been pleased when I have used Proflowers.

While shipping and handling charges can be high, and arrangements are sent directly from the farm are not delivered by a florist, Proflowers offer high quality items that ship directly from the grower and last a week or more.

shopper74647 says "Underhanded" about ProFlowers.com

DO NOT click on an option to save $15 on your next purchase. By just entering your email address for information they sign you up for Easy Saver which as far as I can tell charges you $14.95 a month for nothing. Without realizing I had signed up for anything more than a coupon they began posting unauthorized charges on my credit card every month. When I called they told me by putting my email address in to obtain information about the offer I had inadvertantly agreed to a 30 day trial period for a service (I still cannot fathom what the actual "service" or benefit is) which they then following the trial period could bill me for. This is extremely underhanded as the service appears to be a coupon and nothing more. They also make you listen to their whole spiel about how great it is before they will even begin the process of removing it and reimbursing the charges which required screaming and threats of a lawsuit. I will NEVER use them again.
...

My whole experience with ProFlowers was negative. They double charge for delivery,, they don't deliver on the date that you request, they insisted that I couldn't cancel the order, and then they canceled it anyway!!! I wasn't able to send anything to my step-mom for mother's day because they didn't tell me the order was canceled, in fact, they told me I could NOT cancel it!!!! Even their website is misleading, because you are not aware of all the charges until you are all done and you have given your credit card number. Absolutely ridiculous.
...

I ordered flowers for the first time from Proflowers.com for mothers day. Previously I have used 1800flowers.com on many occassions with no problems. I placed my order on May 3 and paid an extra $20 for guaranteed delivery for Friday, May 8. I called them on May 8 as the UPS notice they sent me indicating a delivery date of May 11. The lady on the phone assured me that was incorrect and that I had a "guaranteed" delivery of May 8. When I told her that the whole point was to get them there before Mother's day, she again assured me they would.

I late found out that the flowers weren't even shipped from CA to Maui until May 8, the day they were to be delivered.

To their credit, they did agree to refund the $90 I paid. Hopefully I'll get the refund they promised.
...

skiploader says "AVOID!" about ProFlowers.com

I ordered Mother's Day Flowers with their online bait and switch ad of $19.99 for a dozen roses (after all the shipping costs it came to $41 for a Friday delivery; weekend delivery was lots more). Well the "flowers" arrived on the Friday before Mother's Day and 5 out of the dozen roses were either wilted or brown. My mother called Pro Flowers and they said a replacement order would arrive on the Thursday after Mother's Day since their stock of roses was depleted. Clearly, they oversold their Mother's Day special and apparently sent out bad flowers to fulfill their orders. Bad news no matter how you cut it. At least they refunded my money and sent my mother new flowers right away after I complained to a phone rep. but the damage was done.

That said, I advise you to avoid Pro Flowers and use FTD or some other quality company that delivers fresh flowers and doesn't UPS garbage.
...

I came to ProFlowers attacted by the a $15 rebate on shipping advertsied on their site. It's not until I completed my purchase that I learned the $15 "rebate" was actually a discount on a future purchase that I received only after joining some club. Definitely not what was promised. I should have canceled my order immediately, but didn't.

The flowers just arrived. They were delivered by UPS in a box, not really arranged and dry and wilted from being driven around for hours on a hot Texas day.

Sadly, I paid as much for this arrangement as I would if I had purchased one like it from other online florists who've delivered much neater, fresher flowers in the past. I'll be using a competitor in the future.
...
