I went on the Caribbean Princess in February 2009. I was not on my normal husband and kids trip. I went with my 75 year old Mother and Aunt, my brother and my cousin. I say this to show that there is something for everyone. I was at first amazed at the size of the ship. The staff is very accomodating from the first moment you are greeted. You first are gathered in a building built at the dock. Then you are sent into a room like an airport with lines to the various agents. Here you get your room assignment and keys. Then you get to find your rooms and that is not easy. After a day you get more familiar and it gets easier. The ship has a number of pools maybe 4 or more, an inside and outside movie theatre. The outside one can be watched from one of the pools. We saw great live shows almost nightly. The buffets were amazing, with dessert even at midnight. The reason everyone gains weight on a cruise. My husband and I have taken two cruises, both on the Caribbean Princess - same ship and even the same room! Obviously we loved this cruise line and this ship so much that we were thrilled to return for a second voyage. There is no vacation that seems like a dreamy getaway paradise more than a cruise, and Princess knows how to do it up right! I love all the destinations, but the days onboard are equally as enjoyable. One of our favorite features of the Caribbean Princess was the outdoor theatre - a huge screen above the deck. At night, all the beach chairs are covered with theatre covers and everyone who shows up for the movie is served free popcorn. It is a treat to lie there at night feeling the cool Caribbean breeze blow through your hair while you relax and enjoy some entertainment. The food on board the Caribbean Princess is also wonderful; every night we were served up unbelievable gourmet delicacies that would make any chef proud. This was my first cruise and I was not disappointed. The ship was amazing. There was so much to do and see and participate it. I did not have enough time in a week to do everything on board I wanted to do. The people working the ship were fantastic. They were always right there to see if you needed anything. They were so friendly and so enthusiastic. I recommend Princess Cruises and Caribbean Princess to everyone who loves to have fun!...

Princess Cruise lines is heads and tails above all other cruise lines. Just because this is considered upscale don't think that your kids won't enjoy it. They had more fun than we did and watching the movies at night was really nice. The shows are great, but crowded so get there early. Plus the amount of food choices is just overwhelming. If you want something and don't want to leave your room, just order room service.

I wish I could take this cruise again and again.

Save your money. Totally not worth it. You end up spending three imes the cost of the cruise in extras. Staff was not friendly!!...

Food was fabulous,but be forwarned about beverages,cocktail drinks are not the only beverages you pay for. Soda-pop,juice,milk, iced tea, & bottled water are also on your bill....

My daughter and her family love to go on cruises. She and her husband surprised me and bought me a Princess Cruise. It was so much better than I thought it would be. I had a fabulous time, the food, shows and activities were terrific. I would definately recommend this cruise to anyone....

Carnival Cruise line is a great way to take a vacation. I had such a good time. It was nice to be able to come and go as I wanted and not worry about getting lost. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I took in a few shows, but spent most of my time just chilling in the piano bar. I just love to sit and sing those songs.

Highly recommend this trip for the whole family.

All in all the caribbean princess and staff were all so very helpful, as my 97 year old Mother went on the cruise too. at every turn they went out of their way to help. I really felt they did more than I expected....

We sailed the Caribbean Princess last month. It was our first cruise on this ship but not our first one on the Princess Cruise line. There were a total of 18 of us ranging in age from 4 to 65. Everyone had cruised before and everyone had a good time. All areas are rated 1-5 stars

Cabins ****

Between us, we had a variety of rooms from interior to balconies. All of the rooms were as expected: small but well laid out. There was room for everything once we were unpacked and you were easily able to get around. The couple in the inside wished they had a window to tell the weather but that was the only complaint. We had a large covered balcony on the Caribe deck which was nice as I am not a big sit out in the straight sun fan.

Dining *****

Princess ships have the option of "anytime dinning" which allowed us to eat when we wanted to - a big plus when the ages were so varied! On the Caribbean Princess, we preferred the Coral Dining room over the Palm Dining room with its fast service and pleasant...

My daughter and son-in-law took my mother on the Carribean Princess last year for her 80th birthday and took me along too. Loved the ship even though the layout of the ship can be a little confussing. The food was very good and the lobster tails were wonderful, juicy, tender and big. If you wanted a second helping there was no problem at all. The crew was very helpful and alway friendly. Our steward was great and was our waiters at dinner. Loved that the buffet was open 24 hours because after the shows we loved to go and get fresh fruit or a little sweet snack. It was a beautiful ship....

When we booked our cruise (lst time with Princess) they (Princess) booked out airline flight with Northwest Airlines. The plane had a malfunction on the date we were to travel and by the time they decided it could not be fixed we could not get from Oklahoma to Florida to catch our ship. We contacted Princess and they advised us to meet in St.Maarten, which cost us three days of our cruise. We ask for some type of compensation and they refused. I would never go Princess again. That was unfair and I sent them a letter telling them so. The ship was beautiful, our room and service was excellent, to bad we didn't get to enjoy it for the full time. Thur no fault of ours. So beware........ ...
